Hey!
Try Kriesi’s solution posted here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/icons-still-not-working-in-firefox-and-ie/#post-173204
Best regards,
DevinHey!
This is the default behavior for Gallery items. They should look like this with the gallery at the top (because its a gallery post type): http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2013/10/21/postformat-gallery-multiple-images-with-different-sizes/
Best regards,
DevinHey koelnermusikakademie!
What Calendar do you mean?
Cheers!
DevinHi straightedge29!
The masonry elements are their own elements. See:

DevinNovember 6, 2013 at 9:29 pm in reply to: Make current enfold folder into child theme for update #185327There are a number of programs that have comparison tools which could help for sure. I’m not sure they would help in this case because the number of changes we’ve made since 1.6 is just huge. The html5 update changed almost every single front end template and on top of that the structure of many of the files were re-done as well.
So comparing X 1.6 to X 2.4 would almost be apples to oranges in many cases.
Hey RicardoSuarez!
The background is caused by you adding that item inside a pre wrapper. That should be used for code or raw text you want to display without any reformatting. Not shortcodes.
I don’t know where the gray border is coming from but I believe its the way WooCommerce outputs some shortcodes and isn’t from the theme.
Cheers!
DevinHi lis4!
Make sure you have Enfold version 2.4.2 installed and running on your WordPress installation.
Cheers!
DevinNovember 6, 2013 at 8:48 pm in reply to: What happens to my content if I change the theme later? #185316Hi fluxappeal!
Right now yes, you would lose the content. The shortcode generated pages (advanced layout editor) store all of the data outside of the visual editor.
Eventually Kriesi will be releasing the advanced layout editor as a stand alone plugin. If you look at the theme files its already packaged that way it just hasn’t had the final round of polish and bug fixing to make it portable.
Best regards,
DevinFor Enfold, after a huge amount of user complaints we turned off wpautop so that the shortcodes had better support and so did third party plugins within the text editor.
You can either use break tags in the text tab or use this shortcode to define your space explicitly:
[av_hr class='invisible' height='30' shadow='no-shadow' position='center']
The number 30 being the height of the whitespace displayed.
We would do exactly what we’ve asked already so first we just need you to try deactivating your plugins and then checking things out. If all works well, re-activate them one by one to find the conflict.
Hi!
Did you add the css from above? My point is that the box width doesn’t actually make the items fit onto one line.
Regards,
DevinHey Niels!
Not with any of the built in gallery types. You could either try using a plugin or just using the built in WordPress gallery which I believe has some caption support.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
I think the issue you are running into here is that Color Sections are only able to be used with the Advanced Layout Editor *and* they will always be full width items on the page. They can no be included with a sidebar next to them.
So if you are using the Advanced Layout Editor with another custom post type, it isn’t support first. Second, the sidebar will always show up under any color section unless you force it by using either debug mode or some other means which is again not supported.
Regards,
DevinHi Gianluca!
You need to use this plugin to regenerate your images: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
It does still work with 3.7.

DevinNovember 6, 2013 at 4:06 am in reply to: Permissions Advanced Layer Slider in Enfold Theme? – Editor User no access! #185043Hi netengineat!
As far as I know it is only available for Admin users specifically.
Regards,
DevinHi WarrenHorak!
This is actually a bug/function of how WordPress wraps the content of the visual editor. You can’t easily style content inside of a shortocode because WordPress then tries to re-do the html and it causes what you are seeing. The shortcode should wrap the h1 tag and not the h1 tag wrapping the shortcode.
So in the text tab, you could change it manually but whenever you switch to the visual editor it will switch back when you save.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
If you aren’t using 2.4.2 make sure to update so that you have the most recent version of the theme files and code.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Somehow two check boxes have the exact same input name. You should be able to either delete the form and re-create it or maybe remove the checkboxes and re-add them in to fix it.
Cheers!
DevinNovember 6, 2013 at 3:55 am in reply to: Page Background and translucent items on forfolio grid #185039Hey!
You should be able to just set the background as a gif and it work.
I’m not really sure what you other questions are but customization outside what the theme has in place already would need to be done a freelance developer.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
Safari on windows is no longer supported by Apple which in turn means we don’t support it either.
Regards,
DevinHi cboothugs!
As far as I know in order to get that layout you would need to have a freelance developer create the needed custom code for it.
The only way I know of to do it wouldn’t work with IE8 well and definitely wouldn”t work with the mega menu or with a flexible menu.

DevinNovember 5, 2013 at 4:02 pm in reply to: Another theme with same Avia Layout Builder as Enfold? #184810Hi Andrew!
No, not yet. Kriesi will be focusing on Enfold for a while longer before working on the next theme to use the new layout builder system.
Eventually it will be its own plugin but I think that is a good bit down the road.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
The fullscreen issue is known but we have no fix for it. Its the best downgrade we have been able to implement without there being a complete loss in functionality for IE8 at the moment.
The favicon is set in the code, if IE8 isn’t rendering it there is nothing we could do to change that.
Can you elaborate no what you mean by the bar is not working?
The logo distortion is caused by the png file being compressed in its container. Some images, when shrunk get issues like that so you can re-size your logo to exactly 297×88 and re-upload it to try and fix the visual issue or try using a gif instead.
Cheers!
Devinit is either getting cleaned out by a WordPress function or by a theme function to prevent errors. URL’s within text don’t have the same checks on their content that images do.
You might be able to get around it by adding in the url manually to the image but that isn’t an option if you are trying to use the media element in the advanced layout editor.
Hi brandonguy!
The theme actually does respect the read more tag when its on the main designated blog page. Using the blog element on any other page however it has to auto create an excerpt or pull the whole content.

DevinNovember 5, 2013 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Problem with portfolio grid not viewable on website page. #184787Hey!
We see and respond to every single post that gets posted and have for about the past year so no need to ever double post or even bump a post since our queue goes by oldest post to newest (and a self response pushes it to the end of our queue).
Ismael has responded to your other topic here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-grid-content-element-not-showing-on-webpage/#post-184097
Regards,
DevinHi!
If you’ve created that in the LayerSlider interface you would just edit the url on that “button”.
Best regards,
DevinTesting and having flexibility with your paywall implementation are your best bets. Good luck :)
November 5, 2013 at 4:01 am in reply to: Increase size of Main Product Image on Single Product Pages #184606Hey!
You can alternatively just change the container size for the single product page in the theme files. Go to config-woocommerce>config.php and the search for
# # wrap single product image in an extra div # add_action( 'woocommerce_before_single_product_summary', 'avia_add_image_div', 2); add_action( 'woocommerce_before_single_product_summary', 'avia_close_image_div', 20); function avia_add_image_div() { echo "<div class='four units single-product-main-image alpha'>"; } function avia_close_image_div() { global $avia_config; $avia_config['currently_viewing'] = "shop_single"; get_sidebar(); echo "</div>"; } # # wrap single product summary in an extra div # add_action( 'woocommerce_before_single_product_summary', 'avia_add_summary_div', 25); add_action( 'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'avia_close_div', 3); function avia_add_summary_div() { echo "<div class='eight units single-product-summary'>"; }
The grid units the single page elements are wrapped in can be changed there so that they are output either larger or smaller. Just make sure the two values equal twelve in total.
Eg:
echo "<div class='four units single-product-main-image alpha'>"; echo "<div class='eight units single-product-summary'>";
could be changed to:
echo "<div class='six units single-product-main-image alpha'>"; echo "<div class='six units single-product-summary'>";
Cheers!
DevinNovember 5, 2013 at 3:55 am in reply to: Gallery is not working when we want to add any images it is not opening. #184602I created the “Media Elements test” page and added in a gallery with images. I had no issues on my end adding in anything or issues with the modal windows showing.
Seems to be fixed from what I can tell. If you are having issues still, I would suggest trying a different browser with no extensions/add ons or from another computer.
