Hi jmaguirrei!
No, combining columns into column types that are not available isn’t something that can be done right now.
Cheers!
DevinDecember 22, 2013 at 9:51 pm in reply to: Logo above menu with colored background for menu items #203108Hey lizybloom!
If you use Header with bottom menu + social media icons you could get fairly close to that.
Regards,
DevinHey nokostudio!
You will also need to update your theme which was updated to fix the issue. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Cheers!
DevinHi docperi!
Is this with Enfold 2.5? I know Kriesi was working on updating the effect to work on iPads but the last time we had a discussion about it he wasn’t able to add the same effect on iPads quite yet so they would fall back to being fixed for now.
Cheers!
DevinWhat versions specifically? Can we see the site live?
If you can provide a temporary admin account and add it here as a private reply by checking the “Set as private reply” checkbox we can log in and take a look as well.
Hi shriii!
Yes, it should be just like adding in a youtube or vimeo link except the full url to your local server. Ex: http://yoursite.com/videos/video1.mp4 .
Is that what isn’t working now?
Best regards,
DevinWhat version of Firefox and OS are you using? I’m not able to get that same error in any browser including Firefox. Without being able to reproduce it live there isn’t much I can do unfortunately since I couldn’t even guess at the cause.
For your other questions please create a new topic so that we can address them individually. Questions tend to get lost if they get added on in the middle of trying to debug a still live issue.
In general for the contact page you can just clear out everything you have now then add a form element from the advanced layout builder then edit it as needed.
The widget areas you currently have on that page are just inheriting the widgets that are in the WordPress Apperance>Widget section.
I still don’t see it but maybe its just a rendering issue. The color of the border there is the exact some color code as the footer background color.
In browser with dev tools you can remove the footer background color and see it more clearly.
Hi!
What device specifically is this happening on? There isn’t anything with the plugins code that I know of which would turn it off for mobile and it seems to show fine when testing for it on my end just now.
Cheers!
DevinHi esavvides,
What version of the theme and WordPress are you currently using? Do you have any other plugins running?
When you click on revisions do you not see any revisions besides the original page versions or are they all just the same?
Regards,
DevinIt isn’t that the plugin is not compatible, it just is not integrated in the same way. In order for it to work with the advanced layout builder right now it can’t use the regular shortcodes and it also can not auto update.
So on any regular page you can switch to the advanced layout builder mode and add a layer slider without using the plugin by itself. If you want to add in layerslider slideshows on posts, widgets or without using the advanced layout builder then yes you would need to use the plugin separately and de-activate the theme integrated version.
Hey!
If you turn on debug mode for the Advanced Layout Builder you can see the raw shortcode output and then copy and paste it into the same field on the new site.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/

DevinDecember 22, 2013 at 8:31 am in reply to: Enfold: What template file to edit to modify Ajax Portfolio Preview layout? #203012Hey!
Then you can have your own folder within the child theme for shortcode replacement.
Best regards,
DevinHey MKW270210!
You could position it absolutely and then it gets a bit easier:
.phone2 { color: black; font-size: 30px; padding: 4px; position: absolute; right: 10px; top: 54px; }
The issue will be what to do with the header on mobile since it doesn’t quite fit any longer. You can use the mobile media query in the custom.css (in the css folder) to add some additional css that will then position how you want for mobile.
Best regards,
DevinTypically working with WooCommerce goes like this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/quick-start-with-woocommerce/
If it doesn’t then checking through all the other variables with server, plugins etc is the best place to look.
Hey!
I was able to log on to your site and add a text widget to your footer without issue. You can see it on this page: http://www.k-winmotorcycle.fr/?page_id=1122
Note that right now you have the footer and socket to *only* show the socket by default. This is set by you in the theme options in the Footer tab.
You can control this on each page individual as well as through the option in the Footer tab. On each individual page look for the Layout meta box on the right hand side of the page.
Cheers!
DevinAs I’ve said quite a few times I do understand what you mean and as far as I knew there was nothing available to fix how a browser renders where a user is taken on an anchor link.
The same still holds true but I did stumble onto an article that has a possible fake fix. Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
.avia-section:before { display: block; content: " "; margin-top: -44px; height: 44px; visibility: hidden; }
The height and margin-top need to be whatever your menu shrinks down to.
December 21, 2013 at 8:18 pm in reply to: Color box anchor tag is dicplaced due to the statis header #202912Hey shriii!
Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
.avia-section:before { display: block; content: " "; margin-top: -44px; height: 44px; visibility: hidden; }
Please let me know if this works as I just happened to find something just now as I was looking into this yet again :)

DevinGlad we could help. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.
Hi contodo!
No, there is no conflict with WooCommerce and Enfold at the moment. I, along with most other users of the theme, have WordPress 3.8, Enfold 2.4.2, 2.4.3 and 2.4.4 along with WooCommerce Version 2.0.20 on lots of live servers without any major conflicts.
My guess is that there is something else causing a conflict either with the server setup (extremely low memory – 40mb or less) or perhaps you aren’t working with the most recent version of one of the items.
Regards,
DevinThose are the WooCommerce widgets for those items. You can add them to your shop page widget areas from Appearance>Widgets. See: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/
December 21, 2013 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Portfolio grid thumbnails not showing after update to WP 3.8 + Enfold 2.4.4 #202904Hey MBAM!
There is a javascript error with the facebook code or plugin (not sure which). Its causing an error with the jquery getting loaded in from WordPress and in turn the delay on showing the portfolio items isn’t working. A quick fix is to set the images to show anyway by adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
.grid-image.avia-hover-fx { opacity: 1; }
Cheers!
DevinHi!
1) You can add new icons via the function method here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-slideshare-to-header-social-icons/
2) On each of your pages you have the option on the right hand side of the page editor in the “Layout” meta box to choose if you want to have the header. Look for the text:
“Header Settings
Display the Header with Page Title and Breadcrumb Navigation?”3) In your theme options go to the footer tab and add [nolink] to the text box along with your own custom text.
4) The slideshow image is based on the options and image options you choose for that specific page.
For the blog page, if you’ve chosen that page from the theme options it ignores all settings on that specific page. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-your-home-and-blog-pages/
Cheers!
DevinDecember 21, 2013 at 7:30 pm in reply to: User Profile widget for bbpress like in this forum #202902Hi chooseone!
1) This is a plugin with a bit of customization. I believe its this one: http://wordpress.org/plugins/sidebar-login/ but we don’t have access to any of the customization that Kriesi may or may not have done.
2) The issues that have been pointed out to us were added into the last update. If there are further issues please let us know as we don’t have any on a bug list or to-do.
Cheers!
DevinHi pelyon!
You can turn on custom css fields for all of the layout elements and then add a class with a background color: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/
For example: add the class name custom-red-background to the new field and then this css to your Quick CSS:
.custom-red-background { background-color: #F00; }
Regards,
DevinHi akmhou!
You don’t copy the whole file to your child theme. Just have a clean fresh functions.php in the child folder. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
You can download a pre-built child theme from there.

DevinDecember 21, 2013 at 4:13 pm in reply to: Navigation/Logo Affected on IPad and Android/Samsung #202891Hey!
There is another bit of css needed to fully change of the switch width for the menu and then make the other menu show/hide. See: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/top-menu-with-the-social-icons-bigger/?replies=5#post-132320
As for the LayerSlider, there is nothing in the theme or plugin to prevent it from showing on mobile devices so it definitely shouldn’t be happening. There are a couple of things to do from here however: first is to update your theme and WordPress. Both have updates that will work better together and fix a lot of bugs that have been in line to go live for a while.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
On your original screenshot can you point out exactly which line it is? http://i.imgur.com/ICI053x.png
I’m just not sure what it is we are trying to address. Sorry about that, I know to you it probably stands out like a blinking red light but with how many variations of themes we see it can all blend together a bit.

Hi ccrabtree!
I’m not quite sure if this is what you mean but give this a try:
#top.home .title_container { display: none; }
Best regards,
