    No it is still happening on all browsers (chrome, safari & firefox) but now it’s showing different logos on different pages, even though the header is all the same… which is very weird. I created some screenshots and I tested in all 3 browsers. Also on the iPhone (latest install) it is not showing the logo at all.

    On some pages it shows the mobile logo (NN) and on others the full logo (Nourished + Nurtured). Please refer to the screenshot. Everything on the website is up to date (Enfold, WP, Plugins etc).

    For me, it’s when I click ‘fetch the coordinates’ after entering the address. I entered the Google Maps API key.

    It’s neither of these, we tried both (clearing browser cache & website cache) several before we posted here.

    Also, I don’t seem to get the errors in Firefox either, they come up on the pingdom tools website. We always get around 30 connection errors there and some of them are images, sometimes it’s more and mostly images.

    Thanks for responding so fast. I am not sure if the error is in Firefox Dev. The client keeps sending emails saying the website is broken and doesn’t load all the images (only some).

    I have been chatting to Codeable about optimizing the website and they mentioned that there is a connection error on 41 images. How can I find these connection errors?

    Strangest thing. I checked on my husband’s laptop now and it is working you are correct. Thanks so much for looking at this.

    One more question. What else can I do to speed up the website (ie reduce loading time) besides the things I already did, which is:

    // Image Optimizier
    // Enfold Performance
    // Caching Plugin

    The client is not happy with the loading speed and tells me the website is broken.

    That is strange. I am looking at it in Safari, Chrome and Firefox all latest release and it doesn’t show it to me inside the Ajax portfolio.

    The theme’s compression is not disabled on the dev site, I enabled it, as I need to compress whatever I can and cache, as the client is heavily complaining about loading speed. I now disabled Autoptimize to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn’t.

    It works as soon as I undo the CSS compression. But if I switch on the CSS compression, it does not load the shape into the background via css. So I would like to know why it is cutting out the css when I enable compression?

    I created a login for you on the dev site, if you’d like to have a look. Also if you have any suggestions on how to improve on the loading speed, I am very grateful.

    Sorry for my late reply with this. I tested going back to the Enfold contact form but that doesn’t work. The Spamshield will then start blocking the Email Lock in the Download section and prevent download. So we’ll have to work with Contact Form 7.

    Do you have any recommendation on how to remove these errors, whilst still using Contact Form 7. It seems that Contact Form 7 is not working with Enfold.

    Thanks so much for looking into this. I now tested as well and disabled Contact Form 7 and you are correct.

    Soooo my question now is. We implemented Contact Form 7 as we had soooo much spam, but the Contact Form 7 with Google ReCaptcha did not make a difference at all. Only when we installed Spamshield, the Spam stopped. So do you think we could go back to the Enfold Contact form and the Spam would still stay away?

    I did clear the cache and I can still see the errors as per my screenshot. The errors come up in Firefox (latest install). For some reason, they do not come up in Firefox Developer.

    What browser are you using? I cannot see the error you are referring to.

    The website is currently not on https, it is on http. The hosting company contacted me and asked me to fix the issues displayed in the screenshot as they were causing issues with the website load.

    I tried to find where the problem is coming from but I can’t see where these paths/links are generated.

    This is coming up on the Firefox console. The hosting company sent a message and said I needed to fix these issues. It was causing problems with the website. I attached a screenshot below.

    I then checked and these issues are coming up on all my Enfold websites.

    Thanks so much for getting back to me. I just logged in and upgraded to the latest version of Enfold and also updated all plugins and the issue we had with Download Monitor and Spamshield seems to have solved itself.

    I now activated Spamshield. Fingers crossed this will help with the issue.

    Hi Kriesi Support Team

    After installing WP Spamshield and finding out it interfered with the plugin Download Monitor (Downloads stop working and give a javascript error), we had to disable WP Spamshield again.

    I also have the following plugins installed: Contact Form 7 with Recaptcha, Honeypot and a Plugin called Bad Behaviour.

    We had some quiet for a couple of weeks but the last few days the website is getting hammered again with spam. I haven’t updated the theme yet, as I the hosting company has the contract to run updates on the website. So before I contact him (the host), here’s the question.

    The new version of Enfold, should it help with spam issues?

    Hi Ismael

    It was helping but then I realised that it interfered with the Download field from Download Monitor and people could no longer download files, so I had to disable it again.

    We are using Google ReCaptcha already. I integrated it via the Contact Form 7

    I’ll keep you posted if the Spam comes back, as I only disabled the Spam Shield plugin yesterday.

    Yes, I need the logo that is in the theme options to display in the front end. For some reason, it is not at my end. I tried different browsers, computers and smartphones. And all I always see is the ‘old’ logo (which isn’t the one in the Theme Options).

    I actually now (before your reply) purchased WP Spamshield and installed it and so far (fingers crossed) it is much better. But will also look at your other solution for some of the other enfold installs that seem to get spam now.

    Hello Kriesi Support Team

    I followed all the instructions in this thread. So we now switched the website to contact form 7 with Google ReCaptcha and I even installed Contact Form 7 Honeypot and a Plugin called Bad Behaviour which should help with spam but the spam keeps coming.

    I also noticed that now, since the last Enfold upgrade, all my other websites on Enfold start getting spam. Not huge amounts, but it started, whereas before only this website (partnerrealestate.ch) used to get spam. The websites are across a range of hosting companies.
