  • Hi Mike

    Sorry for my late reply too and thank you so much for your help. Truly appreciate it.
    I can see it is now there on my 12″ iPad Pro but for some reason it sits nearly at the top of the screen and does look quite stretched. Any reason why that would be? It should look the same as it does on the computer screen, but resize it according to screen size?

    It is a Background Image in a colour section, set to stretch to fit the screen with focus on center/center, but it does not seem to stretch on the iPad screen? and definitely not centred? Also it keeps looping on the iPad but it shouldn’t it’s not set to loop?? Once it stops it should just display the word ‘Akkomplice’, which on the laptop/desktop it does.

    Thanks so much.

    Hello Kreisi Team

    Am so sorry, but just checking in on this as no one seems to be responding.
    Would appreciate some help as to why this is not showing on an ipad—tested on two different ones.

    Thanks so much.
    Corina

    Hey Rikkard
    Thanks, this is still happening on iPad. Could someone please look into it?

    Thanks heaps.

    Hi Nikko
    Yes same hosting company, it is my dev server.
    Thanks, Corina

    Hey Nikko

    I am following up with this, as I now have a clean install without hummingbird and it still does not apply the default to first sort category function in the English translation.

    — correction it does apply but it takes ages to load the script in the english translation.

    install is now on domain below.

    Any idea why? Would appreciate help as I am at a loss.
    Thanks heaps.

    Hi Victoria.
    Perfect. Thanks so much for your help.
    All the best,
    Corina

    Hi Nikko

    Thanks for the explanation. But what does this mean? I can’t use the plugin? Is there a fix? Do I need to contact Hummingbird? Does it mean Hummingbird is not compatible with WPML?

    Appreciate your help in understanding how to solve this. Thanks so much.
    & all the best,
    Corina

    Hi Victoria

    Sure, sorry about the delay, I was out of the office for a couple of days.

    Here’s the mobile view, where the title is top aligned (should be bottom, like on desktop)
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/7i2ilgyofra2iuv/NN%20-%20Mobile%20View.jpeg?dl=0

    Here’s Desktop view with title bottom aligned, which is correct:

    Hope that helps. The title is also an image.
    thanks heaps.

    Hi Victoria
    Safari, latest install.
    Thank you

    in reply to: Logo not loading #1040084

    hmmm reinserting the ‘full logo’ seems to have fixed it. Could you check if on your end on mobile it shows the logo with ‘NN’ only and on desktop it shows the full ‘Nourished + Nurtured’.

    Thanks so much.
    Corina

    in reply to: Logo not loading #1040082

    Hi Vinay

    You are misunderstanding me. The NN logo, which you now inserted EVERYWHERE should only be on mobile view but not on Desktop or ipad view.

    It is now everywhere. The code you provided to me ages ago made this possible. but it stopped working with the last updated.

    The NN logo should not be on desktop and iPad on these devices it should display the full logo.

    I reverted now to the original full logo.
    Thanks, Corina

    in reply to: Logo not loading #1039766

    Hi Vinay

    Thanks so much for looking into it. That is correct. The issue with the NN logo on the website is resolved. BUT the NN logo is the one that is supposed to be showing on mobile view and it is not.

    You guys gave me this code a while ago to load a different logo into mobile view:

    /* mobile */
    add_filter(‘avf_logo’,’av_change_logo’);
    function av_change_logo($logo)
    {
    if(wp_is_mobile() )
    {
    $logo = “https://nourishedandnurtured.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/nn_logo-mark_only.png”;
    }
    return $logo;
    }

    But it stopped working with the last enfold update.

    Thanks heaps.

    Hi Rikard

    Thanks for the reply. The issue is that it loads the wrong logo. You sent me a code snippet a while ago which displays an alternative logo but it doesn’t seem to work anymore. If you go up in this conversation thread, you can see that I referenced the code and that it is no longer working.

    It stopped working with the last Enfold updated.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi Victoria
    That is very strange. I definitely cleared the cache via the button from Comet Cache up top (right hand side in the black bar) several times. Did you clear it somewhere else?

    Also the mobile logo is not loading since the update. See screenshot below. What do I have to do to load a different logo for mobile since the update? The code I currently use is further up in this conversation.

    Thanks heaps.

    Hi Victoria
    Sure, see below. Thanks so much.

    in reply to: Logo not loading #1036026

    Hi Rikard

    No it is still happening on all browsers (chrome, safari & firefox) but now it’s showing different logos on different pages, even though the header is all the same… which is very weird. I created some screenshots and I tested in all 3 browsers. Also on the iPhone (latest install) it is not showing the logo at all.

    On some pages it shows the mobile logo (NN) and on others the full logo (Nourished + Nurtured). Please refer to the screenshot. Everything on the website is up to date (Enfold, WP, Plugins etc).

    Hi Rikard

    For me, it’s when I click ‘fetch the coordinates’ after entering the address. I entered the Google Maps API key.
    Hope that helps.

    Hello, same problem here. I am on the latest Enfold release and WordPress and all Plugins are up to date.
    Thanks,

    Hi Guys

    Same issue here. Update via Enfold Theme in WP is not possible. Will update via FTP as suggested, but thought you might want to know.

    Hi Victoria

    How can you safely say it is not theme related?

    thanks so much.

    in reply to: Connection Errors #989531

    Hi Victoria

    It’s neither of these, we tried both (clearing browser cache & website cache) several before we posted here.

    Also, I don’t seem to get the errors in Firefox either, they come up on the pingdom tools website. We always get around 30 connection errors there and some of them are images, sometimes it’s more and mostly images.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Yigit

    Thanks so much. Below.

    in reply to: Connection Errors #987119

    Hi Yigit

    Thanks for responding so fast. I am not sure if the error is in Firefox Dev. The client keeps sending emails saying the website is broken and doesn’t load all the images (only some).

    I have been chatting to Codeable about optimizing the website and they mentioned that there is a connection error on 41 images. How can I find these connection errors?

    Thanks so much.
    Corina

    Hi Ismael

    Strangest thing. I checked on my husband’s laptop now and it is working you are correct. Thanks so much for looking at this.

    One more question. What else can I do to speed up the website (ie reduce loading time) besides the things I already did, which is:

    // Image Optimizier
    // Enfold Performance
    // Caching Plugin

    The client is not happy with the loading speed and tells me the website is broken.

    Any additional tips you may have I am very grateful.
    Thanks so much.
    Corina

    Hi Ismael

    That is strange. I am looking at it in Safari, Chrome and Firefox all latest release and it doesn’t show it to me inside the Ajax portfolio.

    The theme’s compression is not disabled on the dev site, I enabled it, as I need to compress whatever I can and cache, as the client is heavily complaining about loading speed. I now disabled Autoptimize to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn’t.

    It works as soon as I undo the CSS compression. But if I switch on the CSS compression, it does not load the shape into the background via css. So I would like to know why it is cutting out the css when I enable compression?

    I created a login for you on the dev site, if you’d like to have a look. Also if you have any suggestions on how to improve on the loading speed, I am very grateful.

    Thanks so much & all the best,
    Corina

    Hi Ismael

    Below some links:

    Dev Server with CSS Compression enabled:

    It’s only in the Ajax Overlay where it doesn’t seem to load it.
    Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Nikko

    Sorry for my late reply with this. I tested going back to the Enfold contact form but that doesn’t work. The Spamshield will then start blocking the Email Lock in the Download section and prevent download. So we’ll have to work with Contact Form 7.

    Do you have any recommendation on how to remove these errors, whilst still using Contact Form 7. It seems that Contact Form 7 is not working with Enfold.

    Thanks so much & Kindest Regards,
    Corina

    in reply to: Blocked loading mixed active content #963518

    Hi Nikko

    Thanks so much for looking into this. I now tested as well and disabled Contact Form 7 and you are correct.

    Soooo my question now is. We implemented Contact Form 7 as we had soooo much spam, but the Contact Form 7 with Google ReCaptcha did not make a difference at all. Only when we installed Spamshield, the Spam stopped. So do you think we could go back to the Enfold Contact form and the Spam would still stay away?

    Thanks so much. Corina

    in reply to: Blocked loading mixed active content #963023

    Hi Nikko

    Below the FTP to the development server. I moved a copy of the live site across. Does that help or does it need to be the live server?

    I could then move the site back to the live server once the issue is resolved.

    Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Nikko

    Thanks so much. Try looking at it with Firefox Dev Tools. It comes up there.

    Below the access details.

    Thanks so much for your help.
