September 5, 2018 at 12:07 pm #1006064Hey James,
Sorry for the problems, maybe you could try to update manually instead? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 5, 2018 at 1:47 pm #1006128updating the theme manually hasn’t worked. what emial do you want me to use for your login details?

September 5, 2018 at 9:10 pm #1006323Hi,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

September 19, 2018 at 3:10 pm #1011846Hi james-clickstream r,
Thanks for that. The theme needs to be updated via FTP at this point, since some files moved around and so the old folder needs to be deleted and the fresh version to be uploaded. I could not login to the FTP though, I got connection timeout 2 times.
Best regards,
VictoriaSeptember 19, 2018 at 5:47 pm #1011943hi victoria,

These are below
September 19, 2018 at 11:54 pm #1012065Hi,
Thank you for the FTP login, I have renamed your old theme to “enfold-old” and uploaded the update.
Everything seems to be working correctly, but please check for yourself. If you find the update is working then we can delete the folder “enfold-old”
Please let us know.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 20, 2018 at 9:11 am #1012178it all seems to be working now, thank you very much

RikardSeptember 21, 2018 at 1:22 pm #1012765hi Again,
Enfold has updated but I have lost a banner that was on the left hand side of the header bar. the custom CSS to display it is still there but the banner is not displaying. The CSS is
.phone-info { font-size: 22px; }
#header .widget {
left: 75%;
padding-top: 40px;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
transform: translate(-50%);
z-index: 999;
}Can you tell me why this banner is not working?
Thank you
James
September 21, 2018 at 1:46 pm #1012774Hi,
I fixed it. I had to add the widget code to the functions.php – the update overwrited the functions.php and I had to modify it again. I used the code from here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/Best regards,
PeterSeptember 21, 2018 at 1:49 pm #1012775Hi,
I took a look at your image, and found that it was linked with “http” instead of “https” so the CORS policy would not show it, I fixed the url and it seems to show correctly now.
Please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 25, 2018 at 11:18 am #1014138hi mike & Dude,
thank you for the fix. it was working correctly 2 days ago but now the image is displaying below the menu bar.
Can you take another look at it?
thank you
james
