    It would be cool if we could use shortcodes to pull info from photo metadata to help produce a redundant free portfolio. Perhaps if it pulled the data from the featured image.

    For example:

    [shutterspeed]
    [focallength]
    [caption]

    Please add possibility to add/edit title-attribute in mega-menu items

    #174298

    Please add possibility to add Gravity Forms in text-blocks with one click instead of copy-pasting the shortcode

    It would be great to use the Advanced Editor in WooCommerce product pages too

    Please add a printable css version

    Please have a simple switch in the settings that allows us to hide the time and date in the blog posts.

    Thanks!

    Not sure if this has been covered as I do not have have time to dig deeper at present, apologies if a repeat request.

    For the sliders, ie. full-width easy slider it would be really beneficial to have the auto-rotate active but then to have a further option to either display or hide the slideshow controls. Once auto-rotation is active, the controls show by default and there is no way to deactivate them. They aren’t a pre-requisite and I hope this option can be added ASAP please.

    Hey!

    @fusion1: You can hide them using this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

    .avia-slideshow-arrows.avia-slideshow-controls {
    display: none;
    }

    .avia-slideshow-dots.avia-slideshow-controls {
    display: none;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks but this is a global mod and not on a slider-by-slider / individual basis. It should be an option within each for each modal options menu popup in WP. I also cannot assign a unique section ID to an individual slider as the ‘fullwidth easy slider’ does not allow for embedding into a ‘color section’ for some peculiar reason (in spite of the section spanning 100% page width and not defined to page content width).

    Has anyone asked for ability to insert buttons via shortcode within the layout builder Text Block? Currently I have to create one on another page and then copy that shortcode and come back to that page. Very unproductive.

    I would love to add video to the fullscreen slider, instead of just images.

    And also:
    – Animated numbers/charts (even if it’s just like on the Kriesi homepage, right above the big twitter and facebook buttons).
    – A nice integrated language selector for WPML in the main menu, similar to the search in the menu.

    As there seems to be no working plugin out there yet for Audio Previews on Store items, it would be awesome to be able to preview the selling items on the shop page, instead of going into the product page itself.

    Strange that there is no such thing out there yet ?

    Fullscreen Layout Element
    Add a Fullscreen Layout element to the Avia Layout Builder. Useful when using custom galleries that should not have borders on the left and right.

    Hey, any chance of updating that second post in the thread to collate the suggestions into one post? Makes it easier to see if other people are interested in the same thing..

    +1 for pixelmixture request!

    I’d love for the header to be a bit more modern. I’d like the header to act like http://disqus.com/community/ or https://www.uservoice.com/stories/. Where on scroll it goes white and is backed by a background image.

    Hello, I would like you guys add the possibility to insert video on the Fullscreen Parallax Slideshow.
    Thanks and good work on the theme!

    Support for Sell Media plugin would be great! http://graphpaperpress.com/plugins/sell-media/

    It’s also on Github; https://github.com/graphpaperpress/sell-media

    Great work with the Masonry layouts in 2.4, I think it’s time to retire Flashlight and buy another Enfold license for my photography site now too :-)

    Couple of requests:

    • Ability to use the Layer Slider other than full width. i.e. inside a layout element
    • Closeable notification boxes so we can put up notices or alerts which can be dismissed once read. These are pretty universal now and I’d really rather not use a plug-in for such a simple thing.
    • Options dialog for layout elements to allow us to add custom CSS class to any individual element, not just to full width sections

    Hello,

    it is possible to add a hook called wp_body just after the opening <body> in header.php?
    <body id=”top” <?php body_class($style.” “.$avia_config[‘font_stack’].” “.$blank); ?>>
    <?php do_action(‘wp_body’);?>

    Thanks
    Yaron

    I definitely agree with this, not digging the header options too much.

    I would also like some lightbox effects for buttons and contact forms. It would really aid in the process of lead generation.

    I’m really liking how well-thought-out the masonry elements were (I’m not surprised Kriesi nailed it yet again though), but they have prompted me to suggest going back and improving some of the older elements at some point soon.

    For example, the masonry options include things for activating an overlay or not, displaying the title on hover, gap space between items, etc., and the portfolio element has none of that. Similarly, the content and logo sliders have transition options, options for the type of controls, and a place for a heading, and the post slider does not. Both of those neglected older elements are probably more major and are probably used more than the new ones, but they have hardly been improved since the start. I’d bet anything that you guys are already aware of this, but I personally think it would be best to make everything more coherent sooner rather than later.

    It also seems like Kriesi’s aesthetic choices have become noticeably more refined in the past six months or so (the classy look of the masonry layout is on a level above the normal portfolio grid, and they don’t really look like they belong to the same theme), so it might be a good idea to go back and review the design of some older elements with fresh eyes.

    Regarding the actual masonry elements, I wonder if it’s really necessary to force them to be full width. I modified things a little, shrunk it down to half width, and it seemed to work okay, except for the fact that the columns got too narrow. But, they could be responsive at the element level with this cool library. It’s not like masonry layouts work without JavaScript anyway.

    Also, I think using tags to make a masonry element wider or taller is awkward. Meta box options would be better, because they help make the user aware of the purpose, rather than have them discover the option and how to do it in a modal window and then go back and use a standard WordPress feature for something other than its intended purpose. More importantly, though, because it affects the front end and what a viewer sees. The Enfold demo has “landscape” and “portrait” tags listed in blog posts when they would probably have nothing to do with the content if it was a real site, and it could affect things like tag clouds too.

    All in all, I think it would have been better to make masonry layouts an option for the blog and portfolio elements instead of having to choose options from one or the other, but I can think of a few reasons why this would be tricky, so it’s fine. It does look like one unified blog/portfolio/masonry flexible element could work pretty well on the next theme.

    Sorry I wrote so much! I’m really verbose and I couldn’t figure out how to cut it down.

    Whilst I agree with the fact some of the original elements now seem a bit less refined, the tricky part would be updating them without breaking any of the thousands of sites already using Enfold… I’m still developing mine though so personally I’d welcome some updates and additional features for older elements!

    I’m very enthusiastic about the new Masonry option, but also a bit disappointed by certain limitations. For example:

    • The Masonry Gallery doesn’t seem to allow me to use thumbnails for the grid overview. In my case, where they click to view high quality jpgs, this means they load in a bunch of way too big pictures in the overview. The Media Gallery does have this option, making me wonder why this wasn’t implemented here.
    • It would have been nice to set our own link to the items, for example link an item to a page, image, file (like PDF) or manual link.
    • A “Load more” button instead of automatic loading when the visitor scrolls down.

    Hello,
    “jwferne” already post it:
    I’d like to have too an another option added to the header type:
    Fixed Header with Social Icons and Bottom Navigation,
    + header getting smaller by scrolldown (same future that “fixed header with social icon and additonal navigation” has”)
