January 5, 2019 at 1:53 am #1050146February 2, 2019 at 5:23 pm #1062023Hi all,
It there an option to just set the Enfold Avia Page Builder are the default? So when you create new pages you get the Avia Builder by default?
Thanks,
LeydenFebruary 2, 2019 at 6:36 pm #1062037Hi,
Try adding this code to the end of your functions.php file in Appearance > Editor://open ALB by default function trigger_alb_on_load(){ ?> <script> (function($){ $(window).load(function() { $("#avia-builder-button").trigger('click'); }); })(jQuery); </script> <?php } add_action('admin_head-post-new.php', 'trigger_alb_on_load');
Best regards,
MikeFebruary 4, 2019 at 1:53 am #1062443Thank you Mike!
Now, all we need is to be able to lock all Avia Layout Builder elements and only leave the Templates button accessible to clients with an Editor or lower user status. So when you create layouts, your clients can’t add new stuff, but only use the templates you setup for them.
This feature is available in the WP Baker Page Builder. You can lock clients out of all the components and only access the saved templates. Perfect to control the design on the website.
Thanks,
LeydenFebruary 4, 2019 at 1:52 pm #1062670Hi,
Unfortunately that is not a feature of the ALB, but you may be able to build upon this script of another memberBest regards,
MikeFebruary 12, 2019 at 1:53 pm #1065938Hi guys.
I greet you from Peru.
I have problems with Texts, since the Visual option does not appear and I would only allow editing the texts with HTML.
I already have the latest version of the theme (V.4.5.3) and WordPress (5.0.3) installed, and I have already selected the classic editor option to use ALB, but the problem continues.
There is something I can do to solve it.February 13, 2019 at 6:48 am #1066296Hi 2011apuchin,
Please open a new thread and include admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site.

I see that you are using Enfold v4.4.1 with WordPress v5.0.3, you will need to update Enfold to the latest version.
Since your version of Enfold is using the old Envato API instead of the Token, which is now used, you will need to manually update.
You can update via FTP or with a plugin called Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File, Please note that if you update via FTP, you will need to remove the old theme folder “enfold” first (via FTP) then upload the new “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors. Here are the steps to update with the plugin
*Please ensure your “PHP Max Upload Size” is at least 20mb, because Enfold is 16.7mb.
First go to your Theme Forest account and download the “Installable WordPress file only”.
1: please install the plugin: Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File
2: then go to WordPress > Themes > Add New > Upload
3: after the install, click “Return to Themes page” (NOT Activate)
4: success:
Best regards,

MikeFebruary 21, 2019 at 4:04 pm #1069984February 21, 2019 at 9:57 pm #1070113I’m having issues still with the latest version of WordPress and Enfold. Editing content is ridiculously tedious. Is there a work around?

@Exec4 I see that you are using Enfold v4.2.2, with WordPress v5.0.3 we had to make some changes for Enfold to work with the new v5 WordPress.
Please update the theme via FTP, look for the “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ and rename to “enfold-old” then upload the new version as the folder “enfold”
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.
Once you have cleared your browser cache and tested that your site is working correctly, you can delete the old folder “enfold-old”.
If for some reason you want to go back to the old version, simply remove the new folder and change the name of “enfold-old” back to “enfold”If you want to update with a plugin please follow these steps.
4: success:

I was able to login to your site and set “Twenty Seventeen” as the theme to bring your site back up, but you have a warning that your PHP is out of date, I didn’t see where to update it at, so please ask your webhost to update to PHP v7
Then try activating Enfold again, it should work.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 26, 2019 at 4:26 pm #1071860Mike,
I don’t know how to thank you!!! I really appreciate your help. I just had Bluehost set PHP v7. I’ll login to my site when I get home and proceed as you advised.

@Exec4 glad to hear you have solved it by uploading through the theme panel, it sounds like you had tried to overwrite the theme directory. Please note that if you update via FTP, you will need to remove the old theme folder “enfold” first (via FTP) then upload the new “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.Best regards,
