Hey there. Loving this theme!!
One issue i’m running into is importing blog posts with full sized image sizes.
On my previous theme I simply inserted full sized images into the post, when I converted to enfold for some reason it shrunk them from ~900px to 600px. Is there anyway to override this preset so I don’t have to go back through every post and reinsert all the images?

First,upgrade to Enfold 1.8.1. See if it fixes the issues.
Increase the wp php memory limit to 128M or higher. Edit wp-config.php, add this code:

It loads approximately in less than 10 secs.
There are several things you can do to speed up page loads.
1.) Use CDN.
2.) Use caching plugin like WT3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache.
3.) Use minify plugins like bwp-minify.
4.) Optimize image sizes.
5.) Upgrade domain host.

Thank you for the code but when I use
.big-preview.multi-big, .small-preview {

}
It removes the feature image from the post which is what I want but it is also removing it from the preview picture which is what I do not want..
I know the Image I sent was of Multi-Author but I had change the settings to single Author small pic and the screen shot blog multi Author.
your code works perfect if that is the setting I am using but it is not…

so let me restate what I need to accomplish I would like the “feature image within the post not to appear” but I want the feature image to appear in Single Author, small preview Pic.

Hi guys, in the next update could you make it so the images in sections can align flush to bottom? I had a support request on this which worked for one site and I tried the same on another site and it’s continuing to add padding under images in mobile devices.
When you select “no padding” in the section settings it automatically adds about 30px below images. When you view on mobile devices it adds about 20 px to top and bottom of section even if no padding is selected. This is a major issue with theme as it’s the basis of how I need my clients sites to work with images so it’s a deal breaker at this point since it’s not working.

recently I noticed how when I used a “Special heading” in a blogpost that gets cut instead of being automatically responsive to the page layout:

You’ll notice how in this case below the image and title, there is a table that shows up partially behind the sidebar. Same thing happening for the headers, so I found a workaround by typing the headers inside the blogpost, then assign H2,H3,H4, etc, but clearly it shouldn’t be that way.
How come? What’s the fix?

I’m actually working with Posts articles and not Portfolio items…
I thought that even if you do a Post without an image it would at least show up with an icon floating over a white box as it shows in the demo

I have been excited to work with Enfold since I first laid eyes on it. After purchasing I dove right in and played with many of the features. Thank you for such a beautiful template!
Now for the bad news.
I have a page layout template used on all three of the following pages that successfully displays Featured Images from the selected categories in a Post Slider above Blog Posts:

The same template was used to for the following page minus the Blog Posts in an attempt to copy the success of displaying Featured Images as in previous pages. Instead I have 4 1/4 content boxes with Custom Text Blocks with links and Post sliders that also work just fine.
My Frontpage however has an issue with the Post Slider: http://up-shift.net/upshifttest/
The Post Slider, used from the template that works on the three other pages, displays only one Featured Image in the slider. This happens to be the most recent post which was imported with all the others. When the Post Slider rotates to the next image it displays that image for only a split second and then it disappears. No other images can be seen from then on. The Post Slider also seems to end after the assigned number of posts and does not recycle.
Whats worse, the Featured Images do show in the 4 1/4 Post Slider sections under the large one with the issue.
Please help?!
Topic: Portfolio issues
I have a couple of problems with setting up a portfolio – probably newbie questions, so I apologize:
I need one large gallery page with 32 items, image only with mouseover headings, with each image linking to its corresponding portfolio item page. Each portfolio item pages feature an image and a lot of information, including scientific tables – no comments or blog etc.
Here’s what I have done so far:
1. I created a fullscreen gallery page, 8 images across, that looks exactly as I want. (since 8 across with mouseover headings did not appear possible in the portfolio set up.) Right now when an image is clicked the slideshow pops up – that’s nice too. It would be great if a user could click on a slideshow image and be linked to the corresponding portfolio item page. Or, failing that, just click on a gallery image and be linked to the portfolio item page.
So my QUESTION: How do I link each image in this gallery to its corresponding portfolio item page?
2. Just in case that is not possible, I also set up a portfolio page – 4 across. I have no idea if it’s an “Ajax Portfolio” or not, as I can’t see where that information exists when I’m trying to edit the page (I imported the dummy data originally and used on of those pages).
The portfolio page is not showing any of my images, only the headings for each. The headings work, linking okay to the portfolio item pages, but I need the images to show, and I need all 32 of them in a one page gallery just like the one I set up on my gallery page. I’d rather have images only, with mouseover headings – just like my gallery page.
The ideal solution for me is to get my existing gallery page images to link to the portfolio items. If there is no way to do that, how do I create a portfolio page that looks exactly like my gallery page (images only, 8 images across, and mouseover headings only)
I looked in the editor area but could not locate the corresponding code – and I don’t want to mess with that unless I know what to replace.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation. I have searched for an answer but can’t find one so far. Help is appreciated.

How can we make that video do everything exactly as it is now except…have it use the default youtube play button as the current one shown is not visible. If you import it again on top of what you have it will reset your Enfold options and duplicate the menu items. It would be easier to just re-make the ajax portfolio since its really simple to do so.
The Ajax Portfolio Preview Settings allow you to set a preview image or a group of images to be used specifically in the Ajax portfolio view. This layout isn’t as flexible so that the previews will load predictably for the theme.
These are just under the visual editor on each portfolio item. You add a single image and some data for each portfolio item and then when you have a portfolio element you have a new option of making it ajax enabled.

Hello – I am trying to change the color of the icon (only) under the home page image rotation. I have identified (I think) the css code in firebug however when I add it to the stye sheet it doesn’t make the change.

My Ubermenu is being “cut in half,” the navigation bar is 35px tall, while it should be 60px. Any ideas?

Great theme guys, but have noticed a few little issues.

Some elements, such as the tabs on this page, do not respect a sidebar and always go full width. I’ve had this with special headings too and some other elements. Shouldn’t the element wrap to the page width minus the sidebar? Could you please help me to do this?
Also, still on tabs, I tried using JUST icon-font images in the tab title, but it kept putting a “1” next to the image. Can this be fixed?
Lastly, (and a little off topic), the menu that you can have in the footer socket is great, but if you have drop downs then it doesn’t work. Is there a way to get the drop downs to appear when hovering or something?

You can use the Advance Layout Editor, go to Media Elements tab then insert a slider between Fullwidth Easy Slider, Fullwidth Slider or Layer Slider. You can also use the Image element.

Not that I have ever seen. The theme actually has built in support for Gravity Forms so it should have the inherited styles from the themes stylesheet.
If we can look at that page/form on your site live we’ll be able to inspect the code and see whats going on.

In the Portfolio grid element options there is an option for Portfolio Grid Image Size. Select the Choose the Portfolio Grid image size manually and you can then choose the image size to be used.
