    Thanks for the informative reply.

    Much props to your theme. We love it.

    =====================

    1) But why did it not import the “Meet the Team” photos and wording ?

    =====================

    2) There is another author on Themeforest.net by the name of Sara P. (“Your Inspiration Themes )

    http://themeforest.net/user/Sara_p/portfolio

    And they use a GZ file to import and export everything (setting, images, layouts) from within the admin panel of all their themes. Could you come up with something like this in your next update?

    ============

    3) Could you go into our WP-Admin are and create the two missing pages that were not imported.

    If yes, how can we send you a private email with the login credentials ?

    Elaine,

    You can change the default layout for your blog posts to Single Author big preview image in General Settings>Blog Style. Then for your blog layout page just set the layout to whatever you had before.

    This will make your single page blog posts display at the default blog style but the blog page you set using a page and the advanced layout editors blog element display in whatever layout you want.

    That is what I do on my personal site to get the small preview layout on my home page but my picture showing on single blog posts (multi author layout set as default in general settings).

    Hi vlane,

    Yes, images are needed to keep things responding to the device width. That is what Kriesi did in the demo and it works pretty well.

    Hi Helen,

    Choose the fourth heading option in your theme options>header so that you get the fourth look from here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/headers/

    The centered menu is not advisable if you want to still use the mega menus but you can then just set a background image for the header from the themes styling tab.

    Hi vadi4ek,

    I closed the topic as this isn’t a bug. If you choose for an image to be “fixed” that means that it does not respond to the size of the browser.

    There is no fix for this. If you want the image to be responsive then it can not be fixed in the color section.

    You can change the alignment of the image to change where it stays fixed to the page/content.

    Devin

    I need to customize the blog page and the individual post page. I’d like to change the width of the columns and add a custom banner right below the main header. When I edit the page “Blog” and/or “Blog Single Author Big” nothing changes. I’ve set “Blog” where it says “And where do you want to display the Blog?” and “Single Author, big preview Pic (no author picture is displayed, feature image is big)” where it says “Blog Style.” Also, the main blog page (1) is not showing excerpts when I have set it to do so.

    Below are links to each page (1+2) and a link to a custom page I created (3) which is more along the lines of what I would like both the first pages to look like.

    (1) Blog Page: http://crowdriff.com/blog/

    (2) Blog Post Page http://crowdriff.com/blog/manchester-derby-barclays-premier-league/

    (3) Custom Page: http://crowdriff.com/blog-single-author-big/ (some minor issues with layout here)

    Hi,

    I noticed something odd with the 2.0 upgrade.

    Something is off in the ‘no sidebar’ layout.

    The meta & tags are shown vertically, and the same issue happens when small images/icons are inserted in the text content.

    Code:
    Date /
    0 Comments
    / in Frontpage
    Articles
    ,
    News
    / by
    Author

    The tags look like:

    Code:
    Tags:
    Tag1
    ,
    Tag 2
    ,
    Tag 3

    When there are small icons on a text (using a plug-in similar to entypo) inside a text, it messes with everything as well, the icons are on separates lines instead of being inside the text.

    I just noticed it so I think it just occured wuth the 2.0 update (or 1.9.x?), everything worked great before.

    Am I the only one in this case?

    Hello,

    1. When I transferred the table from my previous site it put it in the table feature that comes with the site. I would like to put a regular normal table on my website with out the different boxes, colors, and outlines. Is there a way to deactivate the table functions?

    2. Outlines around the images. I have been manually putting the frames/borders around my images, is there a short code or button that I am missing in the theme?

    Thanks

    Jen

    Hi, I’d like to change two things: change the meta under the images on the grid layout (comments/dates) & the informations on the articles themselves.

    I – GRID LAYOUT

    Currently on the grid preview layout it goes like this:

    2 Comments / August 4, 2013

    I’d like to do something like:

    2 Comments | August 4, 2013 | Author (with link)

    Is it possible to change the text when there are zero comments?

    like “Contribute” instead of “0 Comments”.

    I’m also interested in knowing if the date can be numerical or shorter, like 2013.07.23 or Aug 4, 2013.

    II – BLOG POSTS

    In the same vain, I’d like to achieve differents results on the full articles meta.

    Currently it gives:

    05 Aug 2013 / 0 Comments / in News / by Author

    I’d like to know if the date can be longer like it is on the original grid meta, and if an alternative text can be shown when there are 0 comments.

    Something like:

    Full Date (August 5, 2013) | Contribute | in News | by Author

    III – BONUS QUESTION

    Hope this is not too much at once, but I’m also wondering if the grid can be manipulated to show the text/meta/excerpt in a white shadowed box, like it is the case with the portfolio example pages.

    Cheers!

    #135375

    Hi Devin,

    exactly my way of usage: I post the more tag directly into the regular text field and I don’t use the excerpt field.

    Maybe it caused due to the settings of the blog page?

    [av_blog blog_type='posts' link='category' blog_style='single-big' columns='3' contents='excerpt' content_length='excerpt_read_more' preview_mode='auto' image_size='portfolio' items='6' offset='0' paginate='yes' custom_class='']

    Hi John,

    Do you have a live example we can see? I can’t think of any functions in the theme that add a border radius to images other than the testimonial user images.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hello,

    I’m wanting to be able to filter my gallery images by category. I don’t want to make them into a portfolio item because they are literally just an image. However i still really want users to be able to filter the images.

    I’m probably just missing something, but please could you please tell me how to do this.

    Thank you

    #135859

    Hi simchippy,

    You’ll need to target the .sidebar_right and .sidebar_left classes and add the background image to each for the direction of the shadow. Then place it with some css so that it gets the look you are going for.

    Its quite a bit beyond what we can guide you through via support however as it’ll need to be cross browser tested and then css added so that it supports responsive layouts as well.

    A good freelance developer should be able to get it done in an hour or two.

    Regards,

    Devin

    I would like the images in Enfold to have exactly square corners and no border at all. I haven’t been able to find any thread showing how to produce such square corners, though I’ve seen some discussing removing the border. All my image corners still come out slightly rounded. I would appreciate help on this.

    Thanks,

    John

    The main issue is that the theme doesn’t simply lose a few bells and whistles when downgrading to IE8, but becomes completely broken and unusable. The menu overlays the header logo making the website impossible to navigate, the buttons become transparent and basically invisible, 90% of the Entypo icons break and become non-descript rectangles, image hover states cause images to go completely invisible, images don’t fit into their placeholder borders, most images are skewed and stretched beyond recognition, and the list goes on.

    It’s really quite disappointing given how smoothly the theme works in other browsers. And it wouldn’t be so annoying if the theme didn’t claim to be IE8 compatible.

    Most of my company uses IE8, so I’ve been forced to push back our new site launch for quite some time so I can hack the theme enough to get it at least be functional.

    Topic: text block buggy

    in forum Enfold

    Hello,

    I can’t send a link but I am finding the text block a bit buggy in the latest version of the theme when using the text editor. For example, I am using the following code for a text box within a color section, the reason for this is because I want the text to stand out against the image (I am no CSS expert but it seems to be working)

    <div align=”center”>

    <div style=”width: 65%;”>

    <div style=”padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px; background-color: #ffffff; line-height: 1.4;”>

    <h2>My Text content here</h2>

    </div>

    </div>

    </div>

    However, when I save this I see the above content in the text block in the page builder but when I click on the text box the code is not there, just the default ‘click here to add your own text’

    I have a feeling this started when I had an extra closing div tag?? The only way to overcome this is to copy the text content from the avia debug panel. Delete the entire text box in question and add it again – VERY time consuming.

    Like I say, I am not 100″ sure but think this is because of a typo in the CSS code, if so then this could be a serious issue with a text block with lots of information in it.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks

    Andrew

    In reply to: Blog Posts

    Thanks for your response.

    I have followed your instructions but it still doesnt look like theme.

    Theme here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/blog-single-small/

    Shows a thumbnail of the feature image for that post – with no large image >> on the actual post page it shows large image

    Mine: http://eyecandymedia.com.au/preview/ecmnew/blog/

    Now shows a thumbnail in grey but not a thumb of the feature image like above. It also shows a large image… the theme doesn’t do this?

    Any ideas/

    On the one page portfolio homepage, the parallax images are not scaling on iphone (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/).

    When i scroll down with my iphone to the image of the kitchen i will see the following: http://web-flight.nl/enfold-bug.png

    I have the same problem with: http://www.digified.co

    it would be great to have the option in the blog gridview – “Define Blog Grid layout” to have some extra options. to have option with or without featured image picture. e.g.:

    – No Image, only Title & Excerpt

    – No Image, only Title

    – No Image, only Excerpt + Read more

    Hey Nick!

    thanks for your response. I tried what you advised to do. I replaced the main banner (layer slider) with image element. also I deleted 49px block. After that it did centralized whatever is in color section. but have a look what happened with the top banner. Also still the gallery sliders are not properly top aligned aligned with the date on its right side.

    Also I really need to keep the design as it was before (i really need to keep layer slider where it was because later it will be a rotating slider with different images for each of the different page).

    So, now would you like me to revert it back to its original condition as it was before then may be it will be a bit more easy for you to provide css and answer my all questions attached in the screen shot I provided you before?

    #136107

    Thanks Ismael I will put in the request.

    Using your Quick CSS is not useful because it hides all images and I just want it to be effective for one element. ;)

    Hi Devin,

    Is there a way I could message/email you a username + password for the site? I’d like to keep the under construction up now if possible.

    Hi Nick,

    I have several additions in my Quick CSS from previous queries, could this be what is causing the problem? (below):

    I have the fullscreen easy slider in the footer, but haven’t used the layer slider, do you mean I should delete this element anyway, even if not used?.

    Thanks Nick,

    Gary

    Hello!

    I’ve just installed the Enfold theme and am trying to customise my homepage – but having a few problems.

    In the Avia Layout Biulder there are several buttons and links I click but nothing happens.

    Eg:

    * On the main view, when I click ‘Content Elements’ and ‘Media Elements’ nothing happens. I still see the layout elements.

    * In the Icon Box window, I click an icon but the original default icon remains selected. I can’t change it.

    * In the Gallery window, I click the Add/Edit Gallery button but nothing happens. Can’t upload images.

    I’m using WordPress 3.6.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Hello, i am using the Avia Layout Builder on Enfold template. I have 3 images above some text. I have an issue when adding a link to the images as the whole flow breaks as soon as the mouse touches the image. The images fall down below the rollovered image… If the mouse retracts the layout does not retract to original flow…

    The code that i am using for the images is:

    <a href="../../images/medi/large/01.jpg"><img alt="" src="../../images/medi/small/01.jpg" /></a><a href="../../images/medi/large/01.jpg"><img alt="" src="../../images/medi/small/02.jpg" /></a>

    Hey,

    Glad we could help. :)

    Cheers,

    Ismael

    Hey,

    @American Patriot: Thanks for the tip.

    @headbentde: You can do the instructions above.

    .image-overlay {
    position: absolute;
    background: black;
    z-index: 500;
    height: 100%;
    width: 100%;
    opacity: 0;
    filter: alpha(opacity=0);
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael
