In reply to: Fixed Background image is broken on mobile devices
Hey Jan!
First thing to do is update your theme version to the most recent updates. Then check the settings you have for the background image and let us know what they are set to. I remember someone else having a similar issue and it was something with the positioning/options but don’t quite recall the exact setting that fixed it off hand.

What are your settings for the output? Are you showing excerpt and title or just trying to show images? Images must be set as featured image on the post type in order to be shown so at the very least make sure you have that.
If you can link to one of the pages showing whats getting output we can dig a bit deeper.

I add a portrait size, but if I choose a landscape image i’d like that it is cropped in a portrait size.

actually I have the following problem: when changing to advanced editor the post looks completely different to other posts.
The post I am talking about is: http://bit.ly/1a9mRQZ
– post image is not shown, but is shown on the blog overview page
– the post title is displayed in the header section left of breadcrumbs and not below the post image (see above)
– no comment functionality
– no other interesting links shown etc.Simply compare to other posts, e.g. when you click left: post image is not shown, too (?), but all the other things are ok.

looks fine for me, both in windows and mac. No strange fonts, no nudging. Since I can’t see the issue I cant really offer any more assistance, the last thing I can think of is to apply a css rule that we used in an eariler version of enfold to fix similar problems, maybe it also fixes this one:

Hi – tried Kreatura support – I want to keep text static and switch the image behind using slides in the slider – however it seems you can’t – you have to transition all layers in a slide in and out whether you like it or not…!
They mentioned you can position static layers over the top of the slider area.

Yes, that’s the right URL Kriesi.
I installed the latest version of Enfold by FTP, copying the entire new Enfold folder over the old installation in the site’s Themes directory.
This morning, on Chrome (Mac and Windows) I see:
As each new image appears in the slider, it makes text and images below, in the main content area of the page, nudge very slightly to left and then back. All of the text lightens in colour slightly for a second. This only happens to content in the second (and greater) columns – first column content on the left border does not seem to be affected. Once all of the images in EasySlider have run through once, this problem stops. But if I refresh the page, then it all happens again.

If i try to add a featured image on shop page, this it show up on list product and not hide same the other page.

I have deleted the images from the media-library and reloaded, but still – nothing – white space; This happens only after updating your last release, if I’m going back to previous release then it is ok.
My site is still off-line so I can share any link for it…. is there another way to control it or shell we wait to the on-line version?Thanks

Yes, it’s set up as the frontage. Also, there are not any active plugins.
I created 2 additional pages and the contents of those pages are showing at the ‘fake’ home page, so instead the contents of the page called ‘Home’ (which is configured as my frontpage), what i see is the contents of all the other pages i’ve created combined.
I’ll try to explain, i’ve 4 pages:
‘Home’: with an advanced layer slider, iconboxes
‘Contact’: with contact form
‘About’: Some text A and image B
‘Help’: Some text C.When i try to view my ‘Home’ page, i see a contact form, followed by text A and image B, followed by text C;

P.S: I tried to replicate my home page in a new one, and an error popped out complaining about old jquery version in the layer slider:

It looks like you are using an old version (1.10.2) of the jQuery library. LayerSlider requires at least version 1.7.0 or newer. If you are using the WordPress version of LayerSlider, you can try out the “jQuery Updater” plugin from the WP plugin depository. If you don’t know what to do, you can write us a private message from our CodeCanyon profile page. We need a temporary WP admin account (or a temporary FTP account in some cases) to solve this issue.I post it here in case that could be related to the original issue.

You can’t enable a right sidebar on the single product page. It will always be below the product image. You can choose not to show it using this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

and i would like to see the button to the left of the small social icons or replace the icons with that button.

Yes, I believe it’s in custom css for both containers (test1 and test2).
I love the way the easy slider looks but it slows down loading of the site too much if I’m just using the one image and if there is a better option…

I’m super happy with the theme and everything is cool, there are just some small
things that I wanted to ask about:– I wanted to REMOVE the feature image from the post itself but adding:

}
did nothing. Any ideas?
– I also want to remove “You might also like” from the bottom. Any ideas on how to do that?
– I’m also a big fan of the Portfolio Slideshow plugin (http://wordpress.org/plugins/portfolio-slideshow/)
Is it possible to deactive the normal slideshow on certain pages? (the portfolio slideshow one is a bit faster and that makes viewing storyboards smoother in transition)Again, thanks for making a great theme and for reading this,

I am using the most updated version of Replete and I am also having the same slider issue where it gets stuck on the second image. My browser cache is off and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the slider gets stuck on the 2nd image and the arrows that are supposed to take you from one slide to the other do not work either.

Issues I’m still having are that:
– neither perform as well as the slider on my home page at smaller sizes
– the image in the txt box takes time to load and has the not yet loaded box while it does
– the image in the image element has white pixels at each corner to the rightIs there a way to accomplish this, looking as nice as the easy slider, but without the script?
