You will have to update it again if you did the modification directly in the parent theme. To preserve the modification or the changes in that file, you can override the shortcode file in the child theme directory. Please check this documentation for more info.

You need to use the filter provided in the documentation, create a folder called “shortcodes” in the child theme directory and create a copy of the shortcode file. You can then do the modification in the copied file.

Hello, Enfold Team!
We’re trying to optimize our Page for mobile usage, and for some reason our Widgets on the right side go past the side of the screen. This causes the whole page to be twice as wide as the mobile screen with the left half containing the whole page and the right half containing our Widget.
I have no idea how to contain this in our normal web page bounds. Any help would be appreciated. I can also provide screenshots, but the Google Developer tool should show the problem accurately.

Felix EisenmengerI don’t see any reference to this in any of the recent release notes, so I figure it could be a bug.
Several pages use an easy slider element to hold multiple videos.
However, at present, the easy slider fails to retrieve the video from Youtube:
This happens in every instance of an easy slider containing a Youtube video – regardless of whether there is only a single video in the slider, or multiple clips.
Just to confirm that there are no other page or video errors creating this error, I can load the same videos into individual video containers and they work fine:

If a new version is not showing in the theme options, you can instead download the theme directly from your Themeforest account and update the theme manually via FTP. Please check this documentation for more info.

Thank you for the inquiry.
The plugin may not be compatible with the theme. Also, please note that Enfold does not contain any AMP compatible markups, so it is not going to pass the AMP test. You may need to optimize the site in other ways such as using compressed images and minifying the source files.

Thank you for your answer, I checked within Mailchimp and I am not sure whether I can create 2 forms for 1 list.
For clarification I send you two Enfold screenshots: 1. showing the widget I use in Enfold for registering a new leads to my mail-chimp list and 2. showing the options I have to select the list. My aim is to add all new leads to this one list, however tagged with adding two different tags such as for a) ‘newsletter’ and for b) ‘freebie’. How can I leverage this widget to add tags to the new leads? Similar to the answer provided here:

which however is too technical for me, so that I cannot implement this provided answer for my Enfold environment.

Can you test this version (private content) and see if it works properly on your end?
Just upload the zip file in Appearance > Themes and it should replace the current version of Enfold.

thanks for answering fast. Unfotunatly, the installation of the latest version Enfold 4.9 made it worse:
Concerning Masonry nothing changed.
But: I have a complete new footer which has nothing to do with the old one and I have no glue how to change it, as the footer configuration is still the old one and correct.I provided login details in private.

Thanks for the update. I set the line height for the h3 element to 1.3em under Enfold->Advanced Styling for you, and the text is not cut anymore after that. Please review your site.

Currently the latest version of Enfold is 4.9. Have you tried checking for update manually in Enfold theme options? If you have, there might be some issue with your token. Could you please try to regenerate one and make sure all required tokens are enabled – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5?
