Hey creatorke,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.avia-safari .phone-info img {
width: 15px;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Alwin,
Thanks for your question, many Enfold users use webp images and I have not seen any specific issues posted about this.
I did find this article: Is WebP really better than JPEG? which says:
WebP doesn’t generally have much better compression efficiency when compared to JPEG.
note that for a 500px image the savings is only 6kb:

but for a 1500px image there is no savings at all:

I’m not sure that it would be worth the effort to convert a lot of images to WebP, but you can try.
I have always had good results with TinyJPG and their WordPress Plugin

Mike

but btw. what do you expect from a 2/5 – 3/5 column layout?
why not using a 1/2 – 1/2 layout?

Hello,
Enfold is a great theme but is slow due to the nature of the multi-purpose theme. With the release of 5.0, has the speed issue been improved? If not, is it in the future roadmap to be addressed?
Hi Bill,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.blog #main, .single-post #main{
padding-top: 121px;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,

Hi Daniel,
Yes, it’s been predefined in layout.css.
I have changed it on your site by adding this CSS code in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS:
.template-page .entry-content-wrapper h1,
.template-page .entry-content-wrapper h2 {
text-transform: inherit;
}
Please review your site.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi,
I am using Open Sans as the font and wanted to set it to 800 for extra bold, but none of the settings in the theme are doing this. Here are the techniques tried in order to get the extra bold:
1. Css both inline and in the css editor block in admin.
2. Functions code to tell the site to use open sans as 800 weight.
3. Imported the Google font Open Sans in extra bold into Enfold.
For some reason it refuses to display the font correctly. Any chance you can take a look and help figure this out?
Hey advteksol,
Thanks for your question, you are seeing this error because you are using an old version: 4.7.5
Please update to v5.0.1 and this should be resolved, please note that you will need to enter an Envato personal token in the theme update panel.
Another way to update is to download the latest version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New

after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue

then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.
Best regards,
Mike
With all the updates to WordPress, I’ve had trouble with using the Enfold widgets. Even the Widgets setup page is different than it used to be. Currently when I tried to add the Enfold Facebook Like widget and the Enfold Latest News widget, I am getting errors and it’s not allowing me to save them (see image Widget Error). How can I add these widgets?

Enfold:
I cannot seem to find an exact fix for this issue. I have searched the web and this support forum. I find references and fixes but nothing seems to fix in my situation. In short, my header seems to be overlapping blog page content.
I have one post with a fairly long H1 heading that wraps to 2 lines. When the post is viewed I can only see the second line. The first appears in conflict with the header.
The root issue could be one of the following:
1. I am using an svg for my logo. I have used svg on many other Enfold sites in the past as I have quite a number of licenses.
I do have some custom CSS code entered in Quick CSS. Most of this code was sourced from other Enfold support threads. One exception is code that is commented as “Vertically Center Logo” that was sourced from another user elsewhere. I have tried to see if stripping the Quick CSS snippets out eliminates the issue, but the problem still remains.

Hi Rikard,
Do you think you can fix this issue on my site. Given the inability for people to checkout, I can no longer create revenue from this site. My Tech people have shown by using another theme that does work, that the issue appears to be Enfold. Is my only option to drop Enfold and recreate this site with another theme? I have been using Enfold for years and it is my first choice. I don’t want to ditch Enfold and go to another Theme, but I can’t let this drag on and on without some resolution. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Ron
Hi
My site is hosted on siteground and I noticed that when I used their SG Optimizer plugin and ran a test on site pages I got an error message saying that pages were not cached so I contacted Siteground support and they replied ..
“By default, the Dynamic Cache mechanism will not cache a page if the same sets a cookie or opens a session. The reason is that these could contain sensitive data – caching such pages would represent a major security risk.
The cookie appears to be set by the Enfold theme that your website is currently using. I temporarily switched the theme to a default one and the website was properly cached:”

Hey cristinagrafik,
Thanks for your question, you can add more social profiles by following the steps outlined here in our documentation.
Unfortunately I don’t believe that Fontello has a Tiktok icon yet so please see this thread specific for creating the Tiktok social icon.

Mike
Hey Tilman,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.0.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

Hallo zusammen,

Hey Guenter,
A first response:
The basic implementation for responsive in enfold is that you have a setting with no media query (description is desktop – no media query) either in css files or set in options and then media queries that override the desktop setting.
I think this is also a historical reason because responsive was added later.
Changing this will certainly break many sites.
But I agree – there is missing an option with a media query for large screens only (wider than 990px).
This would allow:
- set a custom default value for all sizes (and override theme setting)
- set a custom value for each of the 4 devices independently, if not set the custom default value for all sizes or theme default is used
I will think about it a little more.
This can also be used for font sizes and other responsive settings
Best regards,
Günter
In the latest Version of Enfold all animatiopsn start hopping! That sucks. Can you check that?
Hi Ismael,
that´s it – now it works exactly as I imagined.
I suddenly feel euphoric, thank you so much. :)
Do I have to manually edit the line after each future Enfold update so it doesn’t change back again?
Best regards,
fkm
Hey navindesigns,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You have to manually edit the read more text in the enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider/postslider.php file around line 827. Look for this code.
$permalink = '<div class="read-more-link"><a href="' . get_permalink( $the_id ) . '" class="more-link">' . __( 'Read more', 'avia_framework' ) . '<span class="more-link-arrow"></span></a></div>
';
Best regards,
Ismael
