    Hi,

    thanks,

    1.) OK, I do understand

    2.) I can make the 2/3 1/3 column layout, but how can I link together the portfolio items below, and the easy slider above? When I click on the portfolio item, it opens above in a slider (but not like in the Examle page), this two thing are different.

    Regards,

    Agnes

    This same problem was happening to me only when I used a CDN. I set the options to ignore that file from being called from the CDN and now it works perfectly. Guessing because this file needs to be written to, the permissions to this file need to be set to writable but for some reason when hosted on S3 with full permissions it wont work.

    So a quick fix, just set that file to be ignored by the CDN and it will be called normally from your web server. On W3 Total Cache its the Reject files option under the CDN section. Hope that helps.

    Thank you in advance for taking the time reading this support issue. I love Enfold . . . it has opened new doors for me!

    When I set my blog at http://www.thechristiandollar.com to run in a Grid format, for some reason when I click on a blog post to read an article it loads the main blog grid page instead – not the single post page I was trying to read.

    This issue seems to be isolated to the Grid blog format. It should also be noted that I have my blog set to run on a page I created entitled “Blog” – perhaps this issue doesn’t occur when the blog is set to the homepage?

    Nevertheless, it would be tremendously helpful if you could walk me through what I’m doing wrong, or let me know if this is a bug. I’m running Enfold 1.7.

    Thank you so much for your time, and I’m looking forward to hearing back from you!

    Huge fan,

    John Frainee

    Hi,

    We’ve set our Enfold layout to Responsive Layout Large and have a table consisting of two columns – one being a Descriptive Column. When viewed on an iPad, it displays correctly. On an iPhone, however, it only shows the default column. You can imagine how weird it looks as there’s no relative context. How would one go about rectifying this? I have a picture available if you need to see an example of what it looks like.

    It is a fresh install of WordPress and Enfold, so there are no plugins other then what comes with the theme.

    I don’t think it is a memory issue since the problem exists on two different installs. I did a local install on my desktop, and a remote install at my webhost. Same problem in both cases.

    Hello, I’m having troubles in creating portfolio item since I installed WPML Media plugin, that allow the translation of the captions of the media library. After having well readed their instruction at the page: http://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/ — I created a new portfolio category, then a new portfolio item in the section “portfolio”, add 2/3 structure + 1/3 structure, and in the 2/3 add an “Easy Slider” and i load the images related to that portfolio item and category. I turn on the two checkbox of WPML media, then i try to load a featured image for the portfolio item, but then i open the media gallery i find no items. I choose “uploaded to this page” as they advice, but the media gallery remail empty, I’m not able to see the image i just loaded previously. if i want to add a featured image for that portfolio item i have to load a new one (so i let WP upload two times the same image). how to solve this?

    Then, i will continue to see the library empty if I open other posts or page and i try to load the images, and this happens since i activated the WPML media plugin.

    Another problem, if in the page that will contain the portfolio grid, I enter in portfolio grid configuration, and i choose the AJAX portfolio, save then update and publish the page, the ajax preview is not able to load any image, leaving my portfolio easy slider totally empty. If in the settings i choose “open the entry on a new page” i can see it well working.

    Help me please, and I still haven’t begin to translate and duplicate the media contents!!

    Thank you for the support and the wonderful theme, with Enfold I’m doing the most beautiful website of my life!!! :)

    When editing a text field such as a Text Block, the toolbar in the Visual tab sometimes disappears. When this happens, no toolbar is visible and no content is visible in the field. The only way to see the content for the Text Block is to view the Text tab.

    My Setup:

    – WordPress 3.5.2

    – Fresh install of Child Enfold Theme downloaded from your site

    – Demo content installed

    – Using Mac running 10.8.4

    – Problem occurs both in Safari and Firefox

    To Replicate:

    – Go to Pages, and edit the Homepage

    – Edit Text Block “Crazy cool usability features” and close without making any changes

    – Edit next Text Block “lorem ipsum …” This will default on the Text tab. Click the Visual tab, and no toolbar or content is displayed. Close.

    – Editing any other Text Block will no longer show the toolbar.

    You should probably check your URL:

    http://pakietyedukacyjne/

    Won’t work at all… ;)

    Checked: if I insert http://www.pakietyedukacyjne.pl/wp-content/themes/enfold/images/layout/dalej.png into your style, everything is fine!

    #126204

    Hi, I put quickly next-button to stop place, but it is only placeholder image.

    1. Yes, that is any “missing file error” but is it not enough to put url into before{ content:…? You think that problem is in bad url localization or maybe it require more customisation than css style?

    2. I use IE8 to test and it gives this result: http://www.eurokreator.eu/images/enfold-IE8.jpg

    3. When you use for example IE10 You see the side arrows in slideshow (prev-next)?

    Regards. Cristof

    #125481

    Hey the rule is simply not specific enough.

    this should work fine:

    #top .sidebar .tab_titles .widget_tab_comments{ display:block; }

    the reason the comments tab is not displayed by default is because it wont fit properly into smaller sidebars.

    the second comments tab you can see when your rule is active is a fallback for browsers without javascript ;)

    Hey! I just inverted the colors of the png file for the video button. You now need to replace the skin.png file in

    wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/skins/fullwidth/skin.png

    with this one:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2025095/downloads/skin.png

    Hi,

    I just looked in ie10 and i see the two next/previous buttons in the middle of the slider.

    If you are talking about the radio buttons , two of them on the bottom middle of the slider, for me they dont work on Chrome or IE. I think you are missing an image file causing a jquery error , this is the file that’s missing

    http://pakietyedukacyjne/wp-content/themes/enfold/images/layout/dalej.png … Fontello fonts work with IE10 and I think all the way down to IE8 .

    Do you mean on the demo site , all the icon glyphs are not visibile to you -> kriesi.at/themes/enfold … What version of IE do you use?

    Thanks,

    Nick

    I’ll tag this thread for Kriesi. The problem is that the play button is not a css shape or font icon but it’s an image (sprite png): http://enfold.qualistream.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/skins/fullwidth/skin.png and you can’t change the color without editing the image. However imo it doesn’t make much sense to edit the png directly but you need a psd file with layers.

    1) open up functions-enfold.php and replace:

    $defaults 	 = array(

    'title' => get_the_title($id),
    'subtitle' => "", //avia_post_meta($id, 'subtitle'),
    'link' => get_permalink($id),
    'html' => "<div class='{class} title_container'><div class='container'><{heading} class='main-title'>{title}</{heading}>{additions}</div></div>",
    'class' => 'stretch_full container_wrap alternate_color '.avia_is_dark_bg('alternate_color', true),
    'breadcrumb' => true,
    'additions' => "",
    'heading' => 'h1' //headings are set based on this article: http://yoast.com/blog-headings-structure/
    );

    with

    $defaults 	 = array(

    'title' => get_the_title($id),
    'subtitle' => "", //avia_post_meta($id, 'subtitle'),
    'link' => get_permalink($id),
    'html' => "<div class='{class} title_container'><div class='container'><{heading} class='main-title'>{title}</{heading}>{additions}</div></div>",
    'class' => 'stretch_full container_wrap alternate_color '.avia_is_dark_bg('alternate_color', true),
    'breadcrumb' => true,
    'additions' => "",
    'before' => '<span class="breadcrumb-title">' . __( 'You are here:', 'avia_framework' ) . '</span>',
    'heading' => 'h1' //headings are set based on this article: http://yoast.com/blog-headings-structure/
    );

    and replace “You are here” with your custom text.

    2) Maybe you selected the “Don’t display the header” in the sidebar on the page editor screen:

    Please open up wp-contentthemesenfoldframeworkphpfunction-set-avia-frontend.php and replace:

    if ($i != 1) {
    //we will have two since we are not using 'other' argument yet
    //see if version is before or after the name
    if (strripos($u_agent,"Version") < strripos($u_agent,$ub)){
    $version= $matches['version'][0];
    }
    else {
    $version= $matches['version'][1];
    }
    }
    else {
    $version= $matches['version'][0];
    }

    with

    if ($i != 1)
    {
    //we will have two since we are not using 'other' argument yet
    //see if version is before or after the name
    if (strripos($u_agent,"Version") < strripos($u_agent,$ub))
    {
    $version = !empty($matches['version'][0]) ? $matches['version'][0] : '';
    }
    else
    {
    $version = !empty($matches['version'][1]) ? $matches['version'][1] : '';
    }
    }
    else
    {
    $version = !empty($matches['version'][0]) ? $matches['version'][0] : '';
    }

    #126555

    No, unfortunately not without major modifications/customization. By default the isotope script supports one filter/sort level and we just use the default script functionality. If you want to implement several filter levels you need to rewrite the portfolio function in enfold/js/avia.js – search for

    $.fn.avia_iso_sort = function(options)

    and add your advanced filter logic/code to this function.

    Hi,

    You mean it displays at that size on a non-retina browser? at 200 height and 400 width? Are you sure about that , because the theme will resize anything over 120 height or so and maybe 230 width. That’s why I wanted to take a look at it..

    Alright, since you don’t want to go the easy with the plugin, we will go the hard way by installing the retina.js manually. You will need to download it from the src folder here https://github.com/imulus/retinajs … also as you can see there are some useful tests you can run calibrating it. . Just add the retina.js file to the /js/ theme folder and now in your functions.php file, add the following code to line 200 (which is empty)

    wp_register_script( 'jquery-retina', $template_url.'/js/retina.js', array('jquery'), 1, true );

    and add this code to line 207 of the same file

    wp_enqueue_script( 'jquery-retina' );

    Alright now just resize the image exactly twice bigger but save it under the same name as original but with @2x at the end, so that if you had logo.png , you will now have (Email address hidden if logged out) and put it right next to where your logo is stored in same folder.

    Now for your logo, you will need to change the above line you pasted to look like this

    $logo = "<img src=".$logo." alt='' width='200' height='100'/>";

    to look like this

    <img src="http://full-url-to-image/logo.png" data-at2x="http: (Email address hidden if logged out) " />

    And last but not least, here is the css you must use, just add it to /css/custom.css , Just please replace with name of your file, url to file and url to retina image and sizes.

    .logo {
    background-image: url('/images/my_image.png');
    }

    @media all and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5) {
    .logo {
    background-image: url(' (Email address hidden if logged out) ');
    background-size: 200px 100px;
    }
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick
