I second Rhodo’s point…I tried putting my copy of this file in the same structure in my child theme and none of the changes work. I have to keep updating the parent theme version. Is this a change to how WP handles the ordering in child themes? The docs on the WordPress codex are a bit arcane for anything that isn’t strictly page templates or css.

I don’t know anything about SEO. Could you recommned any good plugin that you know is compatible with Enfold. I’ve read some topics here saying that WordPress SEO plugin makes some pages dissapear.

EDIT: What’s below doesn’t really solve my problem, I’m giving it as an example to possibly further assist with getting a “real” solution to the problem.
As a “hack” to get around this, I’m currently using the following code in my header.php file, just above the closing head tag:

Ideally, I need something to modify the Enfold conditional logic to allow for the “dap is logged in/out” condition and not just the “wp logged in/out” condition.

Hi guys,
I’m using the latest Woocommerce 2.1.3 with Enfold, with Woocommerce Multilingual 3.2.1. The problem is there are a few places where I can’t figure out how to translate. The bulk of the translations is provided by woocommerce multilingual automatically, and some I use WPML String Translation to search for them, but there are still a few missing. For example, the “Show Details” for each product widget. Where/how do I access the complete list of strings? Thanks.

I, again, appreciate the help. Getting over this last hiccup will be the last thing I need help with as my site will be complete.
I checked your two provided links, and while they don’t completely solve my issue, they did help…indirectly. I’m thinking I can use enfolds conditional menu check (which I’ve successfully enabled) with DAP’s “is logged in?” check. I just need to hide menu items if the user is not logged into DAP (regardless of whether or not they’re logged into/out of wordpress).
DAP uses the following check to check whether a user is logged into/out of DAP:

Thank you for creating this theme! It has been so fun redesigning our website with Enfold. For now, it is mostly default, but I especially like how well the “tour” page turned out. I am sure more tweaks will be made to the site over the coming weeks, but it looks so much better now.

I want to create a category on http://embodyproject.com called featured. This would consist of one post/featured image at a time. I would like this one to always display first on the homepage. Right now I have the posts to display in random order on load, however this one particular post/image would always stay upper left.
Where do I start for this?
Is it possible to fix, so the pictures are responsive on mobile

Hey!
I’m not sure if Enfold supports the “customize” screen. It’s not necessary anyway because you can set the menus on the Appearance > Menus option screen. Just click on the “Manage Locations” and then you can select which theme location should display your menu(s).

I am using WP-Migrate by Brad Touesnard which I have used extensively over a number of years. However I have tried everything but cant get this to work usually on all my other sites this works without issue.
I have tried pointing the new config file to the development database and all is fine. But when I import new database and connect I get nothing only blank screen. I see the following issue with the template builder from the error logs can you please help urgently as I have to get site up and running today.

I have now recently uploaded the latest version 2.5.4 of enfold and reloaded database on live site error log does not show anything now but get this error in firefox saying page is not redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I have also deleted databse and recreated a fresh install of the database all looks ok but have no data in it !!PLEASE CAN YOU HELP I have been trying to migrate over and it has taken all day so far and no further forward my host provider says it is not an issue with them but the theme.

Have just tried All-in-One WP Migration plugin and exactly same thing happens, goto browser and get same error. There is definately something that is wrong in the database during migration of one domain name to another that is causing the issue. I can get the migrated site and do a fresh install fine, but that is not what I want to do. The database should be able to be migrated using the appropriate tools and plugins without having to start again from scratch
Hi Ismael, and everyone reading this.
I resolved my previous problem. It seemed that an ‘old’ plugin: ‘Shortcodes’ plug in being active caused all the problems I encountered (not easing pics in the easy slider and portfolio)
Once again, a lesson we need to learn. When you start something better (Enfold template!) start with a real clean clean slate!Rodger

In addition to my previous post #231059, I tried to take the ‘dummy’ route after once again uploading latest version of Enfold (2.5.4) Tried through FTP upload and theme update.
Having the latest version installed I followed by importing the Enfold ‘dummy data’ in my http://www.houtofthebox.nl site, and left it as is. Even now you can see that NO pictures show when i.e.. ‘Home v4: Small Slider’ is selected. Also no pics show in the portfolio sections of the homepage ….
Scratching my dummy-head what I do wrong ..

What I have done for testing:
Reinstalled firefox.
Tested several htacess solutions
Deaktivated all plug ins
Emptied the browser cache
Deleted the whole enfold folder and reinstalled it
Tested the pure Enfold Theme ( without the Enfold- Child Theme)1und1.de Server

Thanks for your fast feed back. I tried what you suggested and wasn’t able to solve the issue.
I completely removed the version 2.4.5 theme out of wordpress, started fresh and uploaded the latest theme 2.5.4 enfold.zip file through ‘new them’ upload in wordpress.
Still have the issue ‘not seeing’ the pictures in easy slider… I set up a quick easy slider on the home page http://www.houtofthebox.nl under the ‘hello’, for you to see,What can I do to make pics visible. I work on mac OSX 10.9.2 with safari

is not working for 2.541. With the enfold 2.50 Version, everything was OK.
2. After updating to 2.54 , font-face in firefox was broken
3.It must be a code changing in the enfold themeIs it possible to re – download the 2.5 Version from somewhere? I want to reinstall this working version

The only possible conflict I can think of is the wordpress menu walker class. Afaik wordpress doesn’t support multiple menu walkers for a menu and if our theme registers a menu walker class the membership plugin must not register a second walker class. However if it registers a second/custom walker class the menu might break. Our menu walker class can be found in wp-content\themes\enfold\includes\helper-responsive-megamenu.php and it’s required to display the mega menu. I’m not sure how the DigitalAccessPass plugin handles the menu and I don’t have enough time to dig into the plugin code but that’s imo the only possible conflict. If you just need a function which hides/shows certain menu items based on the user roles try the “conditional menu” feature: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-conditional-menu/ .
