Hey Guys,
Great Update! In my earlier Version of enfold I customized the Header a Little bit.
The main Change was that i reduced the Header height to 70px.As I rearranged the new updated Header (2.6) to my old Version (2.5.4), I used the new enfold Setting Options and some of the old custom css. However now a new space below the Header on the main page remains. I assume that this space has the height of the original height of the Header minus the height of my customized Header.
Can you please let me know what I have to to in custom css to adapt the main page Settings so that there remains no White space below the Header?

After the last update, i had a little problem on my landing pages.
As you can see on the screenshot, there is now a bad blank space at the top of the page.
I don’t want it.
How can i disable this ?In the option of the page >
model > blank (no header – no footer)

First of all, thank you for your impressive work, I love the enfold theme =).
I have one issue, I added Buddypress and BadgeOS with the enfold theme on a local machine but I have a weird issue. When I activate the badgeOS plugin, all my pages (Home, Contact, About) have changed the right avia-title (respectively: “Home”, “Contact”, “About Us”) with always the same title : “Community Badge”. I looked on the functions-enfold.php file and I found this:

);It seems that in my case the $id is a reference to a post of the badgeOS plugin and not the right page (Home, About or Contact) if I understood how it works. Do you have any idea about how to resolve this issue please? I hope you will be able to help me…
Hi, after updating WPML and Enfold to the last version (on march 11th ’14) the flags at the very top right of the page to change between languages have disappeared. I can’t make them show up again.

Hi all
Just launched a new ecomm store in Enfold and it’s now bugging me why any of the products displaying 2 attributes/variations has a white background around the ‘choice’ section only.
Have a look at http://www.iridiumkendal.co.uk/product/rhodia-classic-a5-notebook/ as an example and you’ll need to look closely at the 2nd attribute to see what I mean, very hard to see, but there is a difference.
Any ideas?Best regards

After the update to 2.6 last night via ftp:filezilla, the font- face problem is here again: Fonts-face icons are broken in firefox and explorer.
My update steps:
downloaded the themeforest 2.6 zip,
extracted the zip folder
deleted the whole enfold theme folder via filezilla
And uploaded the whole enfold folder
Is something wrong with this steps?Last time Kriesi solved this problem via FTP upload from his own server.

I am sorry as well but we are not a customization service :) We gladly provide support if something is not working but if you need to add additional features that are not available with a plugin you need to either hire a developer to add that to your theme or you need to get a theme that does offer the option in the first place.

Oh I understand. That comment was directed at the LayerSlider devs! I’m sure they tested it but this has created quite a bit of havoc, and it was already not working properly on mobile site rotation (portrait to landscape and portrait), so to see it get even worse is frustrating to say the least. Grrr. ;-/
My guess is, there is a setting we could tweak that might alleviate it. I was a bit hesitant to start poking around until I communicated with you.

No i tested the layerslider on my demo and site. That was just a response to the statement “This is very disappointing that this LayerSlider release was not tested.” which in fact I did ;)
I can see the issue on your site and will have a look at it. If I can find and solve the problem you can expect an update within the next 24 hours :)

Can you post a link to your website please? I must check which code (html/php) or maybe css resizes the images before I can provide a fix.

Hi Jas!
Will take a look at the issue immediately. I tested the slider a lot and it seems to work fine on my end in all browsers, however there is always the possibility that different configurations of the slider, wordpress or the server might cause issues which I cannot reproduce locally.
Would you guys both post me login credentials for a backend user that is able to edit the layerslider so I can take a look at it myself?

Ich persönlich würde versuchen diese Funktion in das Child Theme zu geben (ebenfalls in die functions.php). Siehe hierzu: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ . Falls dies nicht gewünscht wird könnt ihr den Code direkt bearbeiten – in wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/admin/register-admin-options.php sucht nach:
'EB Garamond'=>'EB Garamond',und ersetzt die Zeile durch:
'EB Garamond'=>'EB Garamond', 'Exo' => 'Exo:400',Regards,

The theme does not support a map background at the moment. You can suggest this feature here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests/ and if more users request it we’ll maybe implement it. If you’re in a hurry please hire a freelancer who can help you to implement such a feature.

Please update to Enfold 2.6 – maybe the update fixes the issue. If it doesn’t help I recommend to restore the database with a backup file. Maybe bwp-minify changed some WPML settings and now the menu sync feature doesn’t work anymore.

Yes, as I mentioned, the window resize action is triggering a Javascript redraw.
It seems this could be solved by reordering the java script load. Hmm. In either case, this has broken many websites and there should be a clear way to down-grade to a previous version. To have a site working, then have no way to get it working again, is unnecessary, to say the least.
I sent a message to dev of LayerSlider as well and there has been no response. This is very disappointing that this LayerSlider release was not tested.

Hi Devin Im not sure what would cause this I tried on my wifes phone and my sons ipad both did the same thing where slide does not work until I reload or push the castleman logo in top left. any ideas, I have loaded new update as well.

Hey!
I tagged this thread for Kriesi. LayerSlider is a third party plugin and we propably need to report these issues to the plugin author. I noticed that the slider starts to work on Chrome if I activate/deactivate the dev console which tells me that the “resize window” action seems to trigger a recalculation of the slider elements. Maybe we can use this hack for a temporary fix until the plugin author releases an update.

2) Könnt ihr einen Link zur Sitemap Seite posten?
3) Ihr könnt den Code in die Child Theme functions.php einfügen. Wenn ihr noch kein Child Theme verwendet empfehle ich hier: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ unser “Demo” Child Theme herunterzuladen und es gemäß den Anweisungen zu installieren. Ihr könnt dann benutzerdefinierten css code in die child theme style.css einfügen und den benutzerdefinierten php Code könnt ihr in die functions.php Datei geben. Der Vorteil ist, dass das Child Theme beim Update von Enfold nicht überschrieben wird und eure Änderungen Bestand haben.

Replacing the lightbox script is not easily possible. You can download this child theme: http://www.mediafire.com/?05ho02ecut516hu if you want to replace prettyphoto with fancybox 2. I used it on my website to replace the lightbox script. You can also use this child theme as a starting point for the implementation of another third party lightbox script. If you want to use the default lightbox with a thumbnail navigation open up wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js and replace:

Kriesi hat hierfür einen neuen Shortcode geschrieben. Soweit ich weiß ist geplant, dass dieser mit einem Theme Update zu Enfold hinzugefügt wird, aber derzeit ist er nicht im Theme Code enthalten.

Can we see the site live that is having the issue?The version of LayerSlider included with the theme was updated with 2.6 but it shouldn’t be having that kind of effect. Looking at your site now (missed it on the first read through) the slideshow on the home page loads for me on my iPad without issue.Best regards,

Hey,
I installed Enfold 2.6 today. Love the theme. After the update the sizes of my images have been adjusted. On my Team Page those images have been cropped. In other places where I used the image element the images that’s inserted has been cropped.
How can I fix this. Things looked and worked great before. Can I turn this off? How do I adjust it?
