I have installed the Enfold updated theme and cannot edit my site because of the following error:

I entered a reply to a topic and got the Google “Oops” message. I then tried to reload the page and got the same message.
My response was asking for a clarification on the issues with Jetpack. I have used this extensively on other sites because if provides a lot of excellent widgets not found in most themes. After I activated a few of the more popular widgets and went to the widget area, not one of them showed up as available. This is a hugely popular plug-in and I can’t imagine it is not compatible with Enfold.

30px seemed not to be enough so i did 45px, now the logo looks good on iphone. Unfortunately i have a problem with the social media buttons now. They are pushed in front of the logo, so it looks really massy. Topic: Easy Slider Scaling Question
Hi and thank you for the great theme, for the most part. I have an important question for photographers. Regarding Easy Sliders, or really any ENFOLD sliders. – is there a way to Scale (shrink) images so they fit on the screen, without cropping them and losing half the image?? I dont want my models to loss their heads when they are tall.
The only option I found is use the Full size no scale option, but then the images are often way to big to fit in one page.
I do not want to have to resize and reload ALL my images multiple times, for various sliders. Also doing so would take away detail I want visible if the client decides to open the image in a large Lightroom box.
Any suggestion??

The guy who is doing the wordpress for us says that neither of these bits of advice solve the problem?
we uploaded images following the instructions of size & I would like to avoid the image being
cropped in the window that opens when you click on it from the portfolio grid – Is this even possible
it seems like the images on the enfold demo are also cropped so maybe I am asking the impossible?
It would just look so much better if my artwork came up looking correct on first click rather than the final window
as this all takes longerAlso the code you wrote does not seem to change the size of the text in the portfolio description. ie the right hand column
beside the image in second window after you click from portfolio grid.I keep getting answers that don’t solve the problem but also don’t tell me that it cant be done

My contact form is not working. I receive a ‘message sent’ message but nothing is delivered to my email address.
What is ALB? My question is why doesn’t the preview adhere to the CSS? For example, if you look at my HomePage I have three column backgrounds that I sized very carefully using a screen capture to Corel PSP which then gave me the exact pixel sizes for the backgrounds. I spent a couple of very frustrating hours wondering why the backgrounds didn’t line up properly. Then I updated and viewed the page and the backgrounds were perfect.
I use Microsoft Expressions to create websites and the Super Preview shows me the site in all browsers and it is always exactly what I coded, so something isn’t right with the preview in Enfold.

I would like to have a page displaying posts in a certain language in my Enfold installation.
Using a default WP theme I would know where to put something like the following:
$posts = get_posts(‘numberposts=4&order=DSC&orderby=post_title&lang=en’);But Enfold is a lot more complex.
So my question is:
Is there a way to alter the (I suppose) loop-index so it would call only the posts in a certain language? How could I do it?Thank you in advance

Now I have taken away WPML-plugin and updated maximized all the slides. Then I have made two menus – the top-menu in
English and the regular one in Swedish.Now the page is much faster – but I will still have to do the W3 Total Cash, CDN and other stuff to speed up the loading time.
But there are three problems to solve and I hope you can help out;1. How do I allocate the English blog-posts to the English blog-page http://www.kindbo.com/blog/
2. Can you help me put an English flag just in the end of the English top menu and a Swedish in the end of the Swedish menu?
3. And how do I do to make the top menu as high as the regular menu?With these tweaks I think it could work and it feels like I don’t have to change to another theme.

Social links in the top of the page workes fine.
The 6 icon box links works fine (Hjemmeside, WebApp, Grafik, Foto, Video and E-mail)
The social links in “Om Nordstrom” does not work.

Afaik this is not possible (or at least not without some complex javascript code) because the iframe code is just embedded into the website and you can’t monitor the click event on the iframe website with Enfold and vice versa. Thus it’s also not possible to connect the links within the iframe table(s) with the accordion script.

If you want to replace the default avia.js file with a custom version insert this code:

Hi!
You can update the po file easily. Install the plugin ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ ), go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” in the list and select your language and click on “Rescan” to search for all text strings. Afterwards click on “Edit” and translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain. At least click the “create mo file” button next to the “Textdomain” selection dropdown (top left corner). If you can provide a link to the updated Russian po/mo file we’ll include it with the next update – then you don’t need to update your translation files over and over again.

This requires a major customization of the theme/woocommerce template files. We just slightly modify the default woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php.
