I have seen the same problem here but I did not find the answer. Everything worked fine yesterday, today I updated to WordPress 3.9 and text block in Avia layout builder stopped working. The pasted text is white and I don’t see the top toolbar. I can’t do anything. I can only make html changes if I switch from “Visual” to “Text” – in this case the top toolbar appears.
It happened to me before but that was due to plugin conflict. This time I deactivated all plugins and it didn’t help.Hi bozemanka!
Make sure you fully clear your browser cache so that the new WordPress visual editor scripts and supporting files can load in fresh. Your browser has most likely already cached them because you’ve visited your own site so many times.

DevinSame thing for me – toolbar is gone. Result: I can not edit any text on all pages. And yes, I did clear all caches in 3 browsers and tested anyway possible. But something is not worknig…
This is serious and urgent – hope you can help asap.

I have been having this problem intermittently since I started using the theme a few weeks ago.
But now since updating to WP 3.9 it’s broken all of the time.
The only way to edit it is to switch to the “text/html” view in the editor.
