Yes it become less responsive cause all of the options are on the main theme.
What options are different? If you are worried about that, then you can import the parent theme setting under Enfold->Import/Export.
Thst should be something with your child theme cause the main theme works perfectly.
If you can find a problem with it, then please let us know what it is. It’s a child theme with no code added, and it hasn’t been touched since it was published years ago. I’ve used it myself for years without any problems, and I’ve checked it just now, there’s still no problem with it on my test sites. You are the only one reporting this problem, so that means it’s likely that the problem is local to your site. You could create your own child theme though, if you want to avoid this potential problem.

There is also some hint from the quform support:
“Unfortunately the Enfold theme uses very strong CSS selectors (prefixed with #top) for fields which overrides the base Quform field CSS.
It’s possible to override it though with custom CSS. Something like the code below should work to set the border/background of Text, Email and Textarea fields. Hi guys,
in the site in private data.I have been asked to tweak the category and tag layouts.
No matter what settings I put in the Enfold > Blog Settings area the archive pages always display complete articles rather than exerpts.
I have WordPress > Settings > Reading set to display excerpts only. This is being ignored.
Is there a way I can make it so all category and tag archives only display the feautred image and excerpt rather than the full article? OR the Featured image and the READ MORE BUTTON?
I cannot work out the logic being applied by Enfold.

There is no need to create a demo as our plugin works fine with Enfold. You can safely recommend our plugin :)
Users have more options when they enter our website and set up an account at Bradmax.

It’s difficult for us to predict the future, but we have no intentions of putting Enfold to rest any time soon.
I’m not sure why you would ask us if we would advise you to switch to a different layout builder, you would have to decide that yourself.
Predicting security issues before they happen is a bit difficult to do. If we knew about them before they happen, then we would fix them.

Hi,
Since you are using v4.5.3 it uses the Envato API key which Envato replaced a few years back with the new Token
To update your version of Enfold you will need to download the latest installable WP version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.
Then you will need to create a Envato Token so that you can update in the future.
We recommend making the full site backup using your webhost backup tools, please don’t use a backup plugin unless you have specific knowledge on restoring it. Many backup plugins fail on restore.Best regards,

Why do you want to update to that specific version? The latest version of the theme is 5.2.1. If you haven’t registered your theme license, then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

We are using Enfold 4.5.3 on our website and automical updates seem to stop at this point. Due to the fact, that we have to switch to PHP 8.0, we would like to upgrade to 4.7.3. How does this work?

Thank you for the update.
The images are displaying correctly on mobile view when we checked. Did you purge the cache or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after reverting the attachment back to scroll? Make sure to hard refresh the page as well to display the updated version of the page.

You may need to setup a new from address using an address from your own domain.
Example:
(Email address hidden if logged out)This ensures that the emails coming from the contact form is seen as legit and will get recognized by your mail server. You can set the from address in the Content > Backend > Your from address field.

– Color settings (border – background)
one more observation: i’m used to check elements with F12 in Chrome Browser, but when i come to the form, it is one block and not anymore expandable – that is quite unusualI’m afraid this is a bigger problem, and i should have test prior to buy with their demo :-(

I getting to manage to load the header stuff via functions.php and the rest via a code block on each page.
But the script will not executed so that a visitor can accept or reject the settings.Can anyone help me jow to include these code snippets correctly?
