I have a follow up question if i may.
Is it possible to change the header location per page.
For example, have the “standard” enfold header throughout the site, but on say….”/about” change the header to the left sidebar?Thanks

While I am waiting your answer, I have tried some….
So, I have erase all enfold theme folder from my FTP and reload my backup files….
After all, my backed up theme is start to work again with health.. 2.9.2But what I did not understand that, as you suggested, when I try to update my theme via FTP with selected files,
why my theme has been broken? and I have just seen blank white page in front and also admin side…
I had to chance theme folder name to reach admin side again….Also, there is no update in admin side of Enfold Auto Update section even if I have API and other informations?
Lastly, I would like to update my theme to 3.0.1, so how can I manage that with no problem?

ich habe heute Enfold über die automatische Update-Funktion von 3.00 auf 3.01 geupdated. Während des Update hat sich die Seite aufgehangen. Earlier today, I completed the Enfold upgrade and found many goodies – hurray!
But, I’m struggling with getting the sub-menus to align directly beneath the primary menu text so that its easily accessible for visitors. Right now its about 100px below and looks disjointed. Please help. I’ve tried several solutions from other posts – without luck.Thanks much for all you do!

well, looks like my solution is going to be to use Gravity Forms. everything i tried with DH was a bust and i feel like going to Google for help would be equally frustrating. i installed GF using a colleague’s license for testing and everything shot through right away, so bing bang, there’s the thang.
i still love Enfold and plan on using it more, i’ll just have to bolt on some performance parts from time to time, it looks like.

I have used the version of 2.9.2 Enfold and everything is ok until the update….
I have downloaded the new version of Enfold 3.0.1 and opened the version text and watched the update video.In my ftp, I selected marked folder in version text file and update each of them as stlye.css, functions folder etc…
After that my admin page could not open any of subpage and enfold option page,I want to fix that problem and I uploaded again the old files from my backup enfold theme folder
and now when i try to open my website and admin, there is nothing to see!
please help me, I just panic and I do not know what can I do….

Hello,
I am using “Header with bottom menu + social media icons” for home page and for 80% of the pages. It shows main-logo on the left.
There are two departments that requires different header layout – “department-logo at center and bottom menu” and main-logo and company motto on the left and right respectively. There are a dozen of pages fall under each department.
I understand that enfold theme not support for showing multiple layouts at the same time. I am working on custom template, custom header and custom helper-main-menu php files using child theme.
To my understanding, avia_header_setting(); pass the layout setting for header to helper-main-menu-custom1.php. Correct me if I am wrong.
My question is , is there any way to overwrite those header setting coming from backend of enfold theme to my custom helper-main-menu-custom1.php and force it to use fixed setting for “logo center and bottom menu” header layout?
And if I want to add image or text-block on left and right, how can I do it?

The slider of this first page is exactly what I need I guess, it’s not fullwidth…
If really there is no solution with the Enfold Layer slider do you think I should buy the plugin ? I would have preferred to avoid that but if it’s the only solution I will do so. I also need to be sure that adding this plugin will not have bad incidence with the theme and the code.Keep me posted when you can of course. Thank you.

There were no color tabs before 3.0, i’d suggest using a custom class (ex: white-heading) instead and then with CSS:

You are currently using a very old version of Enfold. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.0.1 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
and make sure that you are using WordPress 4.0
Since you are going to update from a very old version, you may need to re-configure some options/elements such as header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/

Out of the box the table object does not support your request. If you need that, you have to modify
enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\table.php
to allow to add specific classes to single cells. This will be the only way to be independent from cell content.
But this is beyond the scope of support.

One of the attractions for me to Enfold was the ability to do use buttons that included numbers of posts and linked to categories like http://kriesi.at/theme-overview. I assume that this is a portfolio but despite searching documentation and forums I cannot find any help to show me how this is done. Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me how this effect can be achieved?

I’ve read the topic below but it seems to only concern the “one page” sites and I need some more explanations…

I guess the page would then have to be “one column” if sections are used ? At this stage in my page (see link below) I have a column on the right as I am just doing tests and see how things can turn out. If I get rid of this column and decide to use the sticky submenu under the main menu, would it then be possible to work with anchors ?
If so, I have a last question -> At this stage I’ve created (empty) pages for “Gouvernance”, “Equipe”, “Partenaires” etc… But if I use anchors they are not going to be real “pages” right ? So I would just need to create different “anchored sections” (and not “pages”) in the “Nous connaître” page right ?
