We were curious how can we create global elements in Enfold? I’m not talking about custom elements described here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-element-templates/ We need to create a global element like let’s say a custom call to action element with image, button and text that we want to display on curtain pages. And we want to be able to update an image or button or text in that call to action so the change would take an affect globally.
Please let us know.

Thank you on your effort,
But now this.We installed the theme with your help, the website shows that the theme is active, but can’t get into wordpress admin mode anymore.
it throws us the following error:
A critical error has occurred on your website.When we delete the entire theme from fole manager from our cPanel from hosting,
wordpress works normally without the Enfold theme.
We install it again and the same thing happens as mentioned above.Hallo, ich brauche eure Hilfe

Ich habe sogar alle Plugins deaktiviert und trotzdem kommt die Meldung, wer kann helfen?Hi folks. I’ve been struggling for several days with the support of WPML.
The problem I have is the following: when I am translating a portfolio page, in about 99% of the cases, the captions of the images belonging to the image galleries included are NOT visible in the WPML Advanced Editor. Therefore, I cannot translate them.
I can see in the Advanced Editor (and translate) the captions of all images included in text boxes, though.Apparently, they are not able to understand why this is happening. We also tried disactivating all other plugins: nothing worked.
They suggested me to use this workaround:1) open the portfolio page containing the gallery with the Classic Editor , and find in the shortcode window the shortcode for the gallery, example:
av_horizontal_gallery ids='5283,5270,5291,5271,5274,5293,5272,5281,5290,5285,5292,5289,5277,5275,5288,5278,5287,5269,5286,5268,5280,5279,5276,5282' ...]2) Copy all the IDs of the images of this gallery
3) Create a new portfolio page with the classic editor, and create a standard gallery, pasting the ID of the Enfold gallery:
[gallery ids="5283,5270,5291,5271,5274,5293,5272,5281,5290,5285,5292,5289,5277,5275,5288,5278,5287,5269,5286,5268,5280,5279,5276,5282"]4) Publish this “fake” page, and open the WPML advanced editor. This way, the image are always visible, and the captions/alt text/description can be translated.

Do you have any suggestion? It seems like the compatibility between Enfold and WPML is not 100% working, based on my (unlucky) experience.

A.-I converted all the jpeg and png photos on one of my Enfold websites to WebP files, using the Imagify plugin.
Some problems I have encountered:
– PNG files are still displayed as PNG files on the website, so the WebP file created from the PNG is not used by the Enfold theme.
– Photos that are in full circle shape on the website are no longer fully round as a WebP photo, but have a straight bottom.
– I have a Full-width Easy Slider element at the top of the page, where in the settings Styling/Slider minimum height in pixels, I set the minimum height in pixels to 200px. With a jpeg photo this works, however with WebP photos this setting apparently no longer works. This can be seen on a mobile view, the photo is then no longer 200px high (with a WebP file instead of a jpeg file).
– In a Color Section element, with a photo as background, and the Background Attachment set to Fixed, no WebP image is used, but the jpeg photo is used by Enfold.

I have used the Enfold Google Widget to embed a map on my site.
At the bottom there is a a heading PixelComputer and below this heading should be a Google Map.Strangly it works here: https://seminarraum-muenchen.org
but it doesn’t work here: https://www.pixelcomputer.de/showroom/schulungs-und-seminarraum-fuer-6-30-personen/I habe checked the Enfold Settings, the Widget Settings .. all looks the same. I have allowed all cookies, but on the second link only a blank Area is shown. If I disallow all cookies, I see a Preview greyed out of Google Maps – but when I click on it and allow it – I seen only a blank area.
Any ideas?

You did not understood me: this is demo shop site: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/shop/ and on that shop site there are produsctrs listed. I imported that demo and somehow I changed from list of products to list of categories.

Hi,
Yes, you should be able to update the theme with that token. I just tested on my local installation and it worked for me.
If it is inserted in Enfold theme options > Theme Update but you still do not receive updates, please install Envato Market plugin – https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/, insert your token into plugin settings, save and go to “Themes” tab in Envato Market plugin to update the theme :)

I have a problem installing the Enfold theme, for some reason it does not want to install in wordpress, it throws us the following:

Try again.We installed the theme a couple of months ago for another client and it works perfectly, there were no problems.
Now we bought a new license on themeforest on Tuesday and what I wrote above is happening.In reply to: enfold theme

but when i using the wordpress’s text editor, why it’s working when im in admin mode and it doesn’t when im in editor mode .?i try on a another theme and it’s always working, so i think, the enfold theme hinder the editor role to do it

Please provide the login details in the private field so that we can check the issue further. Did you try disabling the file compression settings as suggested? You can find it in the Enfold > Performance panel.

IsmaelTopic: Theme Update not working
I’ve been trying to update Enfold Theme since 5.2.1 I do the update and then my home page has errors in the design, on my about page the images dont show up and so I recover my old version and wait for the next update with bug fixes.
I have done this three times, again this morning trying to update to 5.3.1.1 the same thing has happened.
Does this happen to any one else? can some one help me? I’ve also noticed that since doing the recovery I get a message

on your start page there is enfold 5.3.1.1 on your other pages there are still in DOM the old version (4.5) shown.
So if there are caching tools ( wp-optimize ) – refresh all cache – refresh – like Rikard said your merged files.Topic: Usability

I have a little question about the product Enfold Theme. When I buy it can I use it on multiple sites ? For exemple I have to create something for someone I wanna use the theme on my own server before to put on the friend server. Can I use it again on his server or is that not possible ?Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the update. Please try to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance, to see if that helps. You could also try to temporarily deactivate file compression on the same page. If you should need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

The site seems to be loading correctly on our end. Did you figure out the issue? If you can still see the problem, please try to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, then purge the cache. Let us know if this helps.

The data-min-height attribute is properly set to 410px but for some reason the min-height property doesn’t get applied to the corresponding element. Please temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, then purge the cache. If the issues persist, please provide the login details in the private field.

We mistakenly used min-width and min-height instead of max-width and max-height in the css media query. Sorry about that. Please try the css code again, and make sure to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings afterwards. If the issue persists, please provide the login details in the private field so that we can test the modification.

Thank you for the inquiry.
Your custom cookie gets removed because when the cookie consent is enabled and the user hasn’t agreed to accept cookies, the theme automatically blocks and removes the cookies from the local storage. The script or function responsible for this can be found in the enfold\js\avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js around line 528. You may need to modify the function to exclude your custom cookies. Unfortunately, this modification is beyond the scope of support.

Effectively switching to Enfold parent solved partly the problem. With parent theme I can see the the heading tag option. But I cannot let the parent theme in place too many changes where made in the child theme.
I see that the web designer change so many thing in the child theme that I am not able to figure out how to solve it yet.
Could you tell me where I can go to correct this “avia-hidden” please ?
