Hey Lynnette,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.6.9) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Also make sure to register your theme license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Lynnette,
Yes, currently the latest version of Enfold is 5.6.9. Please refer to this post and update Enfold to the latest version: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.
To receive auto updates in Enfold, you can generate a Personal Token ( https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token ) and insert it in the Enfold theme option > Theme Update.

Hi,
Please refer to @Guenni007’s post.
You can add the [year] shortcode in the Enfold theme options > Footer > Copyright field.
@Guenni007 Thanks for your help!

Hi MikeTandySwag,
You’re welcome :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!

Hi Mike!
Thank you for your feedback.
So I fixed the two errors you mentioned and I’m not seeing any other errors…
…except when I have a mobile-sized window in the DevTools, open my burger menu, and use my mouse to scroll. This causes multiple errors all saying:
Unable to preventDefault inside passive event listener invocation.
jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2
I tracked down where Enfold/Avia enqueues this file–in: config-layerslider/LayerSlider/assets/wp/scripts.php. Searching the web for this error message gives possible solutions, like removing the call to preventDefault(). But I sure as heck don’t want to mess with the Ajax libraries.
I’m not sure if this is related to my inablity to scroll in my burger menus or not. Since I’m able to scroll through your demo’s burger menu, I assume there is something else in my code that is preventing me from scrolling.
However, note that this same preventDefault error does appear even in your demo’s burger menu if I scroll past the bottom of it, and multiple instances of the error are displayed as I continue to try to scroll past the bottom of your burger menu. But the preventDefault error appears for my website even if I’m not at the bottom–since I can’t even see the bottom.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary
Hi,
Today it’s not possible save change to the pages. every page when i update any change …updating ..updating but pages are not saved.
Enfold is 5.6.9 version
Best regards,
Massimo
Ah ha! I found the culprit and it was not Enfold. It was the wp-optimize plugin.
See: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-optimize-killed-all-my-websites/ but the timing of Enfold changes occurred during exact timeframe. Craziness!
CLOSE TICKET!

Hi,
I’m running enfold 4.5.7 as my site theme and the site breaks whenever I try to upgrade to php v8. Is there an update?
Thanks,
Lynnette
if you are using the child-theme from enfold download page there was an empty functions.php file included.
on default you can reach the editor of that file via dashboard – Appearance – Theme File Editor
on the right side you can see the files that are included in your child-theme folder. Click on functions.php and see.
Do not erase that first line: <?php
after this line you can insert the shortcode snippets.

We have built a new website using Enfold theme (/themes/enfold-construction demo download). We have adapted some of the Portfolio items. The ones that were already in the theme, but edited to suit our site ttw.org.uk, still show latin text under the title when searched for within the website search. We have studied the code but there is no trace of it on the page only in the search results. How do we get rid of this latin? (I’m sure the answer is obvious but we just can’t see it)
Moin Support Team,
I have a problem…
When loading the page as well as single pages, the menu and logo wobble to the right/left… at least most of the time!… see the video…
The problem only exists on PC!… everything runs smoothly on Mac!
Even if I delete all custom commands in the CSS and function php file, this unwanted effect still exists!
Enfold is up to date and the only plugin is duplicator… that’s not the problem!
Please take a look at this!… thx in advance

I was curious what your refund policy is? I’d like to try out Enfold with some of my existing plug-ins (ex. Barn2 Product Options) to make sure that the plug-ins I use will work with Enfold. Do you have a trial version OR Refund Policy?
FYI, I was trying to reply to an earlier pre-sale question I posted about Enfold (that you responded to), but couldn’t because a reply requires a registration code, which I do not yet have (I’m in Pre-Sale status). I just wanted to let you know…
Hey Marvin,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Enfold has search functionality, contact form, blog post element, partner logo element, social media element and a gallery element. The rest of your requirements would have to be implemented using plugins or third party code.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Good People
Is Enfold already compliant with the “new” Cookie Consent V2?
Or
Is there something to do or be done? :) Cookies are out… Start baking some bigger cakes …

Hi after updating plugins I get the following error when I try to access wp-admin.
Fatal error: W3TC\Generic_Plugin::ob_callback(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /homepages/43/d603302806/htdocs/clickandbuilds/AnneCurrySculpture/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/heading/heading.php on line 462
I have the must recent theme installed
Hi,
I’m sorry for the confusion, this feature has been added in Enfold 5.6.9. If this button isn’t available on your site, you’re probably using an older version of the theme. Updating the theme should add the option: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.

I am trying to speed up my website, and at this point the slowest elements are related to Avia Layout Builder.
Because using more layout elements slows the speed, I only use a limited number of functions. So my question is if it’s is okay to remove or unload individual CSS files for unused layout elements. FYI, I don’t use most of the elements under “Content elements.” I’ve never used them and will never use them.
I am using a plugin called Asset Cleanup with lets me unload each CSS file such as this one:
https://www.interactiongreen.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_accordion/slideshow_accordion.js?ver=5.6.9
Please let me know if it’s safe to unload these individual CSS files for unused layout elements.
Also, Pagespeed insights tells me that I am not using this CSS:
https://www.interactiongreen.com/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-dynamic.min.css
But I need this, right? Just wanted to make sure.
https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-interactiongreen-com-minka/xlamxr19u5?form_factor=mobile
Thank you!

Hi,
Why is it not recommended to have transparent header/logo on mobile?
Transparent or fixed headers on desktop are used to enhance site navigation by keeping the main menu accessible while scrolling. However, on mobile devices, users can easily return to the top of a page or site with double taps and other mobile phone gestures, making fixed headers unnecessary. Also, fixed headers consume space that is better allocated for actual site content, and they can also be distracting.
If you want to continue, you can add the code in the Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the child theme’s style.css file.
Best regards,
Ismael

The team is committed to ensuring compatibility with the latest versions of WooCommerce, including version 8.2+, as well as the required PHP updates, such as PHP 7.4. Hi there, had two questions… one, will Enfold continue to be updated in the future? (I am having a bad experience with another theme builder). Two, will Enfold be update to support WooCommerce 8.2+ and if so, will it also support the required PHP update to PHP 7.4? Thank You!
Good evening,
thank you very much for your reply, i tried your instructions and everything works perfect now.
Since i activated the 10Web booster plugin just to try to clear the cache because i was having this problems, i won’t need to enable it back up anymore.
But once i’m done building the site up, do i have to reverse the changes i just did? So do i have to:
– Re-enable JS & CSS file merging and compression
– Re-disable Delete old CSS and JS files
– Re-enable my server cache
Also, can you recomend me a cache cleaning plugin which works well with enfold?
Thank you very much
Hi,
Each image has a bottom margin, Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
#welcome .avia-image-container.avia-align-center {
margin: 0;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
In the menu item add your unique class name like my-hex-color

Then in your Quick CSS add:
.my-hex-color {
background-color: #F6BFCA;
}
create a new class name for each new color.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Qgrafica_7,
Please try disabling you 10Web Booster plugin, I believe that it is caching and it doesn’t have an option to clear the cache. Also if your server is caching you will also need to clear this, I recommend disabling your server cache until you are done with the site. Also try disabling Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression and enable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Delete old CSS and JS files to clear this cache.
Once you are done building your site you can enable your 10Web Booster plugin so you won’t have to ffight with the cache.
The only reason you need to add the !important; in your css is because your css doesn’t have enough specifically, most of your css is a single class, and most of the theme css is multiple classes often with a ID included.
I found some css in your Quick CSS to add a background image, but the class you have used is a temporary class that will change when the page is updated:

Best regards,
Mike
