Hey whitney110,
The theme files are available in your Themeforest account, please download them from there. After that then please refer to the documentation on how to update: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/. Also make sure to register your theme license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
Do we have any response to this yet?
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/Enfold-Feature-Requests/issues/114
Following my solution above to reinstate the default filters:
I now use the following more aggressive redirect in the redirection plugin:
Source URL: ^.*avia_extended_shop_select.*
Enable: Ignore Case, Regex and Ignore Slash
Target URL: https://www.domainname.com/shop/
Hit Save
Hi. My customer asks, can i shorten the amount of letters WP/Enfold shows in ingress? They wan’t only few words not the entire section before READ MORE ;)
Dear James,
Thank you so much.
Since i use wp online account i had to install “envato market plugin” to update enfold theme.
The blank page has disappeared. Everything is back to normal.
Will the theme be automatically updated from now on?
Best regards,
James
Hi Mike.
Understood. Thanks for clarifying this. For now, I will have to publish the page privately then or add a password as you have suggested.
Just to clarify, this issue only happens specifically with saved Avia *templates, it doesn’t occur when the page is built with the Avia Builder or Default Editor from scratch and saved in draft made. Hopefully this helps in your investigation in figuring out if this can be fixed with a feature release of WordPress/Enfold.
Thanks.
Hi, This ticket can be closed. It turned out to be a memory hog issue caused by plugin Event Tickets which resulted in Enfold theme looking like the culprit, however, that was a red herring.
Hello,
I do apologize if I’m asking for something not provided here. I’m not very familiar with this, but my website is down and my hosting provider said it’s because I needed to update enfold-v3 and that would fix it. I’ve read how to update the files, but I’m not seeing enfold-v3 in the theme I just purchased. Any hints or direction would be much appreciated. This is the error that my hosting support sent to me to say I needed to update enfold-v3.

Hey Uli,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.container_wrap {
border-top-style: none;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Glad Ismael could help, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.

Hi,
Typically this is caused by a caching plugin that delays the fonts from loading until after the page loads, so in that first second the browser uses the brow default fonts and then when the fonts are loaded they are used. Try checking your plugin for a setting that may do this, or use the Enfold Theme Options > Page Preloading option to show the page after it is fully loaded.
Best regards,
Mike
I have come across a bug between WPML and Enfold where when a saved template is loaded in the secondary language and the post/page is saved in draft mode, the content in the secondary language gets overwritten by the content from the primary language.
However, if the post/page in the secondary language, with the saved template loaded is published, this issue does not occur.
Please advise if you are able to test and replicate the issue.
Thanks.

Hey James,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (6.0.8) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hey Martin,
If you buy your own license, then you should not have any problems updating. Please follow this in order to register your theme license, so that the updates will appear in the backend: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. Make sure to keep backups of your site before updating.
Best regards,
Rikard

Hi,
im trying to help a friend with an enfold theme that wasn’t updated since 4.8.6.3 – that is a high security issue in my opinion and I would like to upgrade. Her license was bought by her old webdesing company.
She is using a Child Theme and everything works just fine (except the fact that she didn’t get any security and other updates since 2021). If we buy a new license for shops. Can we just upgrade the existing license key and update the theme in the dashboard and every setting and layouts stay the same?
Greetings from Germany
Martin
running version 6.0.8 with a child theme, since 11 Dec. All plugins currently disabled
Site ‘died’ today and I don’t seem to be able to get it back up with Envato theme
Contacted hosting partner (Ventra-IP) and so far they are not able to help
Any ideas what I should look for?
Hey melanie308,
Thank you for the inquiry.
In a Text or Code Block elementy, you can add something like this:
<div style="overflow: hidden;">
<img src="main-enfold.png" alt="Image" alt="Image" style="float: left; margin-right: 20px; max-width: 50%;">What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Why do we use it?
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
Where does it come from?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
Where can I get some?
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.

Make sure to update the image URL.

Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You may need to temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and make sure to purge the cache or just disable the cache plugin temporarily. Let us know if it’s still not working.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey Morten R Bune,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Yes, you can manually remove the content of the dynamic_avia folder, but make sure to create a site backup first. You can also temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and the cache plugin while editing the site.
Best regards,
Ismael

Hi thanks for the answer. Unfortunally I’m not able to write more, since I still can’t log in.
My answer is: YES I have updated to latest Enfold version and enabled delete old css and js files.
File size is still the same.
Does it matter if I change the settings regarding merging css and js?
Shall I remove the content of the dynamic_avia manually or do anything to trigger the cleanup?
Brgds Morten
Hey Morten R Bune,
Did you try to activate the option to delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance?
Best regards,
Rikard
Morten R BuneGuest
Hi my site is 50GB. 60.000 files in wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia.
My Enfold token is dvLMep2oaDGq5eOqEE0RDYkVP9SX2OXJ
Can’t register
Thanks

Hi,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field instead:
#top .fullsize .template-blog .post_delimiter {
border-bottom-width: 3px;
}
adjust to suit.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Renaud,
If you are not using a child theme you could use the WP Code plugin then add a new snippet, in the top right corner use the PHP snippet as the code type:

and ensure that it is activated, then add this code and save.
function custom_script() { ?>
<script>
(function($){
$('img').hover(function(e){
$(this).attr('data-title', $(this).attr('title'));
$(this).removeAttr('title');
},
function(e){
$(this).attr('title', $(this).attr('data-title'));
});
$('.av-masonry-image-container').hover(function(e){
$(this).attr('data-title', $(this).attr('title'));
$(this).removeAttr('title');
},
function(e){
$(this).attr('title', $(this).attr('data-title'));
});
$('a').hover(function(e){
$(this).attr('data-title', $(this).attr('title'));
$(this).removeAttr('title');
},
function(e){
$(this).attr('title', $(this).attr('data-title'));
});
})(jQuery);
</script>
<?php
}
add_action( 'wp_footer', 'custom_script', 99 );
Best regards,
Mike
