    On further searching, it appears I need an Envato private token? I’m not sure what or where I might find this? Any suggestions?

    You say, “I see that you have modified helper-main-menu.php file on your child theme to display different menus for logged in and logged out users. If that is the only modification you made on the file” – I don’t know. I had a web developer create the website. He is no longer accessible.

    2- Those sections were hardcoded in footer.php file on your child theme. I went to Appearance > Editor and removed it from Footer.php file. If that was the only modification you made on footer.php file, please delete footer.php file from your child theme as well. Again, developer did this. Is it OK to just leave as is?

    So we have used enfold for years, and we are working toward getting past google search console errors and right now our page speed is good at 91% most of the time or above, and we have structure at 93% and LCP is usually green. What we struggle wit is the CLS shift it says we have.

    We have tried a variety of things with the site.

    1. Turned on and off lazy load in enfold, no effect.
    2. Turned off and on lazy load via wp rocket, no effect
    3. removed all page animations with no effect
    4. Tried to remove beginning banners, top content, working our way down the page, no effect.

    What we see is this <div id=”main” class=”all_colors” data-scroll-offset=”0″> in the gtmetrix as a CLS contribution of .22 and yet we even edited header to remove data-scroll-offset, doesn’t matter.

    If we start removing say the initial fullwidth slider and just have text header, this CLS error still points to it as the issue, so it doesn’t matter which module we add or remove from our page, we just keep getting this div tag as the leading CLS contributor in the process.

    We have read a bunch of previous threads on here, but none really give full solution as I”m sure it’s pretty unique to each site, but this one is pretty solidly pointed as a CLS issue with this main div tag.

    Hi all,

    I have siteground/enfold.
    I optimized all the site on late february with SVG optmizer pulgin (cache, minify javascript, CSS, CDN clouflare, webp image format for mobile). After the optmization I was able to get a rate of 90 on mobile google page speed and A grade on GTmetrix LTE access.

    After one month and half I’m getting a rate of 50 mobile google page speed and E grade on GTmetrix LTE access (If you want I can share with you the reports). The LCP for mobile is very high (more than 9 on mobile google page speed). It was 1.5 months ago.
    I didn’t add new plugins and I didn’t do changes. I only did the upgrades.

    I started to receive error messages on google search console. LCP high more than 2.5 sec on all the pages.

    Can you help understanding why the LCP grew until 9? Does it depend on enfold/PHP upgrades?

    Hello everyone,
    I made tests a few weeks earlier looking at Enfold features I didn’t have time to check yet.
    When recently I’ve seen that 2 news pages have been indexed by search engines.

    These pages are: https://c-serp.fr/?alb_elements=rv-bouton and https://c-serp.fr/?alb_elements_entries=av_button

    They are not Page, nor Post nor Portfolio as well and I can’t find them anymore.
    I don’t remenber how or where I’ve created them. (sounds stupid)
    But I know for sure that I don’t want them to be indexed anymore.

    Anyone could tell me where to look so I can delete or un-index them please?

    Hi,
    I have a problem on my Woocommerce cart page, it shows the items in the cart, the cart totals and below that a duplicate table with the items in the cart and a table with the cart totals. I disabled all the other Woocommerce related plugins except Woocommerce itself and the problem remained.
    It seemed to have appeared recently, so I think it has to do with either updating WordPress, Woocommerce or the theme.
    I hope you can help, I have searched for a solution and tried a CSS display:none trick I saw on these forums but that didn’t seem to work.

    The validation process in Search Console fails on the errors I get. I found similar breadcrumb errors reported on other themes via a Google search and those theme authors acknowledged a problem in their themes and fixed them. But it “appears” Enfold does not know the cause of these errors.

    So until the cause of the errors is fixed, we are stuck with. :-(

    I had a look at your issue and yes, it looks similar.

    Yoast checked it also and they gave me following analysis:
    “After reviewing your past conversations, we see the breadcrumb schema is incomplete in certain scenarios. We know how disappointing it is when something doesn’t work. Let’s get this problem sorted for you.

    The incomplete breadcrumb schema on the example link you provided, https://123?m=0&avia-element-paging=25, contains two parameters. We tested the link with each parameter and found that the m=0 parameter causes the incomplete breadcrumb schema.

    After reviewing you site, we were able to reproduce the issue in our local environment. The incomplete breadcrumb schema is caused by having a static homepage but not a static blog page. WordPress allows you to choose static pages under Admin > Settings > Reading which you are not utilizing. Instead, you are using the Enfold theme option to set a static frontpage but did not select a blog page.

    To resolve the issue, you have two options:
    Create and select a page to be treated as the blog page
    Add custom code to remove the breadcrumb schema from the source code when the blog page is referenced. An example of how to do this can be found here. We, also, have a developer portal where you can find more information about filters and even check out some examples of how to use them. Typically code snippets are added to your theme’s functions.php file. If you’re not familiar with using code snippets, we’d like to refer you to the WordPress documentation on how to use a filter.
    If you choose the second option and are not comfortable with implementing filters, we highly recommend checking out Code Poet or Codeable.io for available freelance WordPress developers and Human Made for development & consultancy.”

    Honestly, I do not know how to proceed further in this matter. Search Console continues tossing error reports. I am bit reluctant to do changes on my website that have been working properly until recently. Maybe just wait it out until updates from the theme or the plugin might change the situation? So far, I have not started the validation process with the Search Console …

    I have created some custom elements. When someone is using the search function in the frontend to look for a specific term (e.g. „background“), then the result page will also show my custom elements containing that term. How can I avoid displaying the custom elements as search results?

    Dear Support!
    One of my clients asked me if I am able to upgrade their wordpress website to latest version (includes upgrading everything like theme, plugins, wordpress, …). My client uses enfold v3.8.4.

    I used the search here but I am unable to find older versions of enfold cause I think that it is not possible to upgrade directly to newest version or am I wrong? Can someone share with me the older versions I need to upgrade first?

    Any additional tips for this upgrade process?

    We adjusted the code in the functions.php file and added another filter. The search widget is now displaying in the top bar but requires a bit of css modification.

    Sorry for the login problem. It was a conflict with a plugin I installed yesterday. Have switched it off and everything is working fine.

    The problem only persists with Enfold. Other themes work fine. I have had a number of issues with Enfold and the quiz elements (other parts) and your colleagues have very kindly logged in and found a solution – usually it’s the CSS. I did a search on the Enfold forum to see if the problem had been reported before and I saw a number of posts in which a colleague of yours claimed that Enfold is compatible with LearnDash, so thought you might already have an answer.

    If you could try again, I would be more than grateful.

    Hi team, I’m looking to convert an enfold website to static HTML for obvious company reasons. what I want to do is create with enfold and maintain the blog with enfold but publish out to a static CDN for safety and page load speed. I know there are the odd plugins to do this but is there a best practice to retain search and contact form elements?

    Is there someone that can help? Is there a paid option for help from enfold? Any devs want to jump in on this and give me a hand?

    a customer of mine would like to convert his existing website https://www.schlosswirtschaft-schwaige.de/ to ENFOLD.

    So I started to implement this new site and now I have problems with the navigation. Here is the link to my new version: http://neu.schlosswirtschaft-schwaige.de/

    The navigation should have the logo – as in the old version – arranged in the middle, I was able to solve this with your script “Logo center split menu” via the CSS.

    But unfortunately it doesn’t work well dynamically at all:
    1. If you reduce the screen a little, the last navigation point (CONTACT) and the search icon slide into the next line and hang in the middle of the picture: see screenshot: https://osmosis.de/support%20/nav/smaller-screen -1.png

    2. If you reduce the screen further, the “burger menu symbol” appears on the far left in the picture, it is halfway in the picture and sticks to the left on the outside edge: see screenshot: https://osmosis.de/support%20/ nav / smaller-screen-2.png

    3. If the screen is reduced further, the burger menu symbol suddenly jumps to the right-hand side, where it is in the picture again: see screenshot: https://osmosis.de/support%20/nav/smaller- screen-3.png

    B. If you open the burger menu on your mobile phone, another problem arises: the first menu item “Reserve” is shown indented.     Now to my concern:
    Which solution is possible for the navigation so that there are not these unsightly intermediate versions (points 1-3): I would like that the navigation is no longer possible as soon as a single line display of the menu items is no longer possible, that it then changes immediately to the burger menu : but this should always be arranged on the right and always be located in the middle of the logo within the white bar above.

    Google Search Console informed me of following error: Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified. As I do not use (Yoast SEO) breadcrumbs, something else on my site caused it, may it have something to do with the Enfold theme?

    Hi, there–
    We are using a boxed layout with the left sidebar logo and menu and want to have the footer go across the bottom at the end of the sidebar instead of to the right of it. We were able to do this globally with CSS by setting a minimum height and it worked fine, except the search results ended up being spread out vertically with to much space between the results due to the minimum width.

    I set the min height by page numbers instead as shown below and that works great. But now we have to remember to add any new pages or posts to the CSS. Is there a way to do this either in CSS where it won’t cause problems with the search results page? Or is there a script we can add to functions.php that whenever a page or post is created to set it to the min height, but leave the search results page alone?     Hi all,

    Still loving the theme. Have two questions.
    1) Is there a way to add a widget to the topbar, same way as :

    Header

    Want to use it for the WooCommerce Search Product widget. Tried adding [woocommerce_product_search] shortcode in ‘extra header info tekst’. It didn’t work

    2) Displaying the including and excluding taxes is a bit of a CSS problem. Could change the default font size to make it work, but would really like to have it as shown on the attached picture. Is this possible?

    Well, it’s more of a general issue — the Form Widget in Elementor seems to be the only thing (at least the only thing I’ve run into so far) where the style options (font, field styling, etc.) don’t have any effect. Here are the rules I used to override Enfold’s styles for this site, but ideally we could somehow make it so the options available for these things in the Elementor Form Widget would work.

    Hi,

    @thp: We do not have a list of elements yet, but you can assume that every shortcode or template file that contains the Av_Responsive_Images class and is using its methods should render responsive images.

    For example, the enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/image/image.php file should contain this line, which outputs an image markup with the srcset attribute.

    return Av_Responsive_Images()->make_content_images_responsive( $output );

    It can be easily done using any text editors’ search feature. In Microsoft VS Code for example, just hit CTRL + SHIFT F in Windows, or CMD + SHIFT + F in Mac to search for the Av_Responsive_Images in every files in the theme.

    You can also assume that every template that is using the get_the_post_thumbnail or the wp_get_attachment_image function will render responsive images or an image with the srcset attribute.

    Hi,
    We have installed MyStoreLocator on our website.
    Unfortunately, suddenly neither the map nor the address search are displayed correctly.
    After deactivating and reactivating the plugins, updating the theme and searching for errors in a local environment, we unfortunately cannot find the cause. As the German market leader, we offer our products to many intermediaries. In the meantime, they are a bit pissed off because they can no longer be found. Can you please help us in a timely manner?
    Furthermore, other theme do function properly. Therefore, we are quite sure about Enfold being the cause.

    Please check as well if it has sufficient permission:

    • View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
    • View your Envato account username
    • View your email address
    • View your account profile details
    • Download your purchased items
    • Verify purchases of your item
    • List purchases you’ve made

    If even with sufficient permission it does not work, please try to do the following steps instead:
    Make a backup:

    Update Enfold Theme
    Option 1: Use Envato Market to update your site

    Option 2: Update manually
    1. Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme, right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
    2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder

    4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
    5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
    6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
    7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
    10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
    11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.

    Register the theme by following the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
    Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.

    Hi,

    It took us a while but we have found out that the top bar or the phone info container is blocking the input field. To fix that, we have to add a space in the top area of the main header and move the widget down a bit. Please add this css code.

    Hey Ralf,
    Thank you for your patience and the video and link, this looks like a lazyload error to me based on similar loading issues that I have seen on other sites. When I have seen this before it was not the expected behavior or the correct behavior, it was more like a conflict. I note that you are using a plugin called PhastPress that I have not heard of before and when I research it I find that it seems to be a “no configuration” web page optimization engine with lazyloading, so my first suggestion would be to disable it to see if you continue to have this issue.
    The script looks like it waits for the DOM to load and then passes the theme scripts and css phast.on(document,"DOMContentLoaded").then which might be causing an issue with page load functions resulting in a double load with some elements, but I’m not sure.
    If you find the page loads correctly without the plugin, but you want to try to keep using the plugin, you could try disabling the theme lazyloading and ensure the jQuery is not being forced to the footer at Enfold Theme Options > Performance > Load jQuery in your footer and disable Enfold Theme Options > Performance > JS & CSS file merging and compression, although I don’t believe you are using this. Also try disabling any other caching, I can’t see if you are using any, and also try disabling server cache if it is an object-oriented cache such as Memcached, Redis, Varnish, Litespeed, etc.
