    Hi,

    Google Maps worked correctly but now it shows “For development purposes only”.

    I’ve checked this troubleshooting list of enfold but I don’t find the bug.:
    1. Check if you typed the key correctly.
    2. If you use the restriction setting on Google try to remove that, wait a few minutes for google to apply your changes and then check again if the key works here. If it does, you probably have a syntax error in your referrer url
    3. If none of this helps: deactivate all plugins and then check if the API works by using the button above. If thats the case then one of your plugins is interfering.

    Could you help me?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jordi

    Hi, i noticed that in many many many WP websites using enfold, yesterday has suddenly appeared a message in contact forms using enfold’s recaptcha v2 to validate submissions. all these forms are now disabled (the submit button won’t show), and the message is (translated from italian) “this contact form is deactivated because the user has refused to accept the google recaptcha service, which is necessary to validate messages sent from the form.”. i tried in one of my websites, and i cna confirm is a theme problem: i deactivated all pluigns, i have WP 6.1.1, and the latest 5.4 enfold release. i also checked my recaptcha setup ion google, and they are ok. just check the error message in google and you’ll find plenty of websites, ALL of them are using enfold (i checked 10) https://www.google.com/search?q=errore+questo+modulo+di+contatto+%C3%A8+disattivato+perch%C3%A9+l%E2%80%99utente+ha+rifiutato+di+accettare+il+servizio+google+recaptcha%2C+necessario+per+convalidare+i+messaggi+inviati+dal+modulo.&oq=&aqs=chrome.4.69i59i450l8.103074j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

    Hi mediaapps,

    Please go to Enfold > Advanced Styling > select < blockquote > (without space) and click Edit Element button.
    Blockquote section should be added, just change the border color there.
    Hope this helps :)

    Hi Franz,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    a:where(:not(.wp-element-button)) {
        text-decoration: none;
    }

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    Thank you all for your answers! I have used those codes in functions.php and it just won’t work. When I put this code:
    beforeShow: function(){
    $(“body”).css({‘overflow-y’:’hidden’});
    },
    afterClose: function(){
    $(“body”).css({‘overflow-y’:’visible’});
    }
    I get error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘(‘, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘{‘ or ‘$’

    I used a text block and the code, used for this pop up is:
    <div class=”avia-button-wrap avia-button-center avia-builder-el-44 el_after_av_hr avia-builder-el-last “><span class=”avia_iconbox_title”>Želim se naročiti</span></div>
    <div class=”fancybox-hidden” style=”display: none; text-align: center;”>
    <div id=”contact_form_pop2″>[contact-form-7 id=”1536″ title=”Contact – Medicinska estetika”]</div>
    </div>
    There is no other third party plugin for this popup, just contact form 7. Is there a way we can solve this here? This is better support than contact form 7 has got. You can log in the website.

    For TikTok, I hoped it would be more simple. Do you maybe plan to integrate TikTok in the newer version of enfold theme? So it won’t need a custom icon and a bunch of code.

    Thanks again for all your answers, I appreciate them all.
    Best Regards, Lovrov

    Hi,

    Thank you for the clarification.

    I then created the following directory in my child theme “/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/custom/” and renamed and saved the hr.php file as custom.php to this directory.

    In order to create a new shortcode/element or override existing ones in the child theme, you will have to register another shortcode path using the avia_load_shortcodes filter. The code is provided in the documentation below.

    // https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#add-elements-to-alb

    You can then create a folder called “shortcodes” in the child theme directory and create custom elements by copying the folder structure in the avia-shortcodes directory.

    I’m after a minimal starting component file that I can work from to create custom components at (“/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/”) rather than modifying/overwriting existing ones using my child theme.

    You lost me here for a bit. If I understood correctly, you are trying to create a new element based on existing templates in your child theme. Is that correct? For starters, you might want to copy an existing element from the parent theme, put it in the “shortcodes” folder in the child theme, edit the info in the shortcode_insert_button function, then modify the output in the shortcode_handler function. You can then strip out what you don’t need or extend it as necessary.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Enfold support
    The bar above the main navigation is now blue, but should be transparent.
    Where in the settings should this be done?
    In the header (general styling) the header style is set to transparent.

    Further I need to slider button to be:
    Font color: black

    How can I get the frame and font to be black?

    Hi,

    I’m just finished updating or migating from Enfold 4.7 to 5.4. The problem is that everytime I hit the Plugins > Add New button the following error message comes up.

    Hello and thanks for the quick reply about WPress 6.1 compatibility

    I also wanted to know if ENFOLD has the chance to add link to its slideshow and found a post in the forum where you were saying it is possibel to add 1/2 buttons that activate a link but the other guy wanted to link directly from the caption text. Is it right to say that this is possible simply adding a tag like

    Slide Title ?

    Thanks !

    In reply to: Links are underlined

    Hi Eve,

    The issue is related to WordPress 6.1. You can update Enfold to the latest version to fix the issue or add the following code to the bottom of Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling

    /* To fix underlined links */
    a:where(:not(.wp-element-button)) {
      text-decoration: none;
    }

    /* To fix increased margin in Masonry */
    figure {
      margin: 0;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hey pscheffcenvato,
    Thanks for the link to your site, current the logo used is: header04b-300×42.png that is 300×42 not your full size.
    I believe the image you want to use is the one linked below, to apply this to your theme settings please go to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Logo and paste the url below, and then save the theme settings with the blue button at the top of the page.
    Don’t add the logo by using the upload button as it will set the smaller size.
    If you have trouble Please include an admin login in the Private Content area so we can help.

    Hi IBRAHIMBerro,

    Thanks for providing us with FTP access.
    I was able to modify wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/class-popup-templates.php and commented out this codes (line 715-7450:

    array(
    	'name'		=> __( 'Background Image', 'avia_framework'),
    	'desc' => __( 'Select an existing or upload a new background image.', 'avia_framework' ),
    	'id'		=> 'overlay_pattern',
    	'type'		=> 'select',
    	'folder'	=> 'images/background-images/',
    	'folderlabel'	=> '',
    	'group'		=> 'Select predefined pattern',
    	'exclude'	=> array( 'fullsize-', 'gradient' ),
    	'std'		=> '',
    	'lockable'	=> $lockable,
    	'required'	=> array( 'overlay_enable', 'not', '' ),
    	'subtype'	=> array(
    						__( 'No Background Image', 'avia_framework')	=> '',
    						__( 'Upload custom image', 'avia_framework')	=> 'custom'
    					)
    ),

    array(
    	'name'		=> __( 'Custom Pattern', 'avia_framework' ),
    	'desc' => __( 'Upload your own seamless pattern', 'avia_framework' ),
    	'id'		=> 'overlay_custom_pattern',
    	'type'		=> 'image',
    	'fetch'		=> 'url',
    	'secondary_img' => true,
    	'title'		=> __( 'Insert Pattern', 'avia_framework' ),
    	'button'	=> __( 'Insert', 'avia_framework' ),
    	'std'		=> '',
    	'lockable'	=> $lockable,
    	'required'	=> array( 'overlay_pattern', 'equals', 'custom' )
    )

    This is only just a temporary solution and you will need to do this on every theme update since any changes on the parent theme will be overridden during the theme update.
    Also, with this code removed, background overlays will not work.
    If the hosting provider will still refuse to fix the issue then I would suggest you would consider to migrate to a better hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    My site crashed earlier and now I can’t access wp-admin. I can see the site but I can’t get into the dashboard. I get this message:

    Fatal error: Access level to avia_sc_chart::shortcode_insert_button() must be public (as in class aviaShortcodeTemplate) in /var/www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/chart/chart.php on line 49
    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Can you help me with this? We’ve used Enfold on this site for years and this is the first issue we’ve ever had.

    Hello,

    I have a problem with an Enfold theme installation. I have the error Failed to initialize plugin: avia_builder_button on every post/page I try to edit. Furthermore, on theme options -: general styling I can not choose a color scheme (they are all greyed out).
    The error in console is refering to tynymce

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘ (at plugin.min.js?wp-mce-49110-202011

    We have an error showing up on one of our Enfold installs. It’s the only one with this issue, and we’ve done all of the usual testing. We’ve deactivated plugins and removed all code from the child theme, cleared the server cache, cleared the browser cache, and tested on different machines… Nothing seems to fix this. I also re-installed a fresh version of WordPress and Enfold parent theme.

    What’s really odd is this is a subsite of a MultiSite network that other sites use Enfold. Only this one has errors. Plugins and themes are all shared. So, that leads me to believe it’s something local just to this subsite.

    Whenever a page, post, or other CPT, is made or edited, no matter which editor (advanced enfold, classic, or block), whenever you click the link icon in TinyMCE the box doesn’t show and the console reports another error:

    It’s almost like a JS file is getting run as HTML.

    If we use the basic text editor for html, that link button works great.

    Here are the details:
    Enfold 5.4

    Hi Stefan
    I appreciate your getting back to me. I know there has been a lot of questions asked of you. I want to re-assure you that we have 3 engineers on this issue and we will get to the bottom of it.

    I can see your token in our database, which has the correct credentials. However, it is an application token, not a personal token.

    We think the next useful step is to create a personal token and use that in the Envato WordPress Plugin. The token you need to generate can be done at this link: https://build.envato.com/create-token/?default=t&purchase:download=t&purchase:list=t.

    We understand it’s confusing, the application tokens are at the top of build.envato.com, and the personal tokens are at the bottom of the page.

    If you are able to take a few screenshots of the process along the way, that would help. We would also like a copy of the token that is generated.

    If you can take those steps and get back to us, we are looking forward to hearing how you get on.

    Thanks

    That’s it.
    I got it right ten times, didn’t pay attention once in one day and made 3 mistakes when I wanted to create the personal tokens
    for 3 licenses bought in short succession.
    Instead of pressing the ‘Create a new token’ button, I pressed the ‘register a new app’ button.
    It also says ‘my apps’ in the menu, this is the signpost in the wrong direction.

    An extra menu item ‘my personal tokens’ would be useful here.

    Life can be so easy…
    So many questions, such a simple solution.
    Yes, shit happens – I wasn’t paying attention.

    Thanks for the support.
    The solution just in time, because today I have to buy license number 14 for Enfold for the next customer….

    Hi mattyork2,

    Please try the following steps:
    1. Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme, right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
    2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
    3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
    4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
    5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
    6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
    7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
    10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
    11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.
    I hope it helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi enfold,

    Since that option isn’t available, I think the workaround would be to use the fade-to-another-image hover effect, but you’ll need to create a button or a link below to redirect the user to another page.
    Please check Ismael’s answer in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/image-links-not-working-for-images-with-fade-to-another-image-under-animation/#post-1377788
    Hope it helps.

    Hey carlosTLM98,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Adding this css code should create some space between the buttons.

    li#menu-item-453 {
        margin-left: 18px;
    }

    Please make sure to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the css.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    You can refer to this post: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/social-share-buttons/#how-to-add-custom-social-icons-to-enfold-options and add a new icon to social share profiles and link it to your shop page :)

    Hi Norbert,

    The version of Enfold you currently use is using the old API (username and API key) which Envato has already deprecated therefore you can’t update it with the usual method.
    You can do the following process instead:

    First make a backup:
    – Site Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-wordpress-site/
    – Theme Settings Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-theme-settings/

    Option 1: Use Envato Market to update your site
    – link: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Option 2: Update manually

    Then register the theme by following the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
    Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi AU5985,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    It seems that you are using a very old version of Enfold (4.3) which was released in April 2018, please try to update the site to the latest version (5.4).
    The current version you are using is still using the old API (username and API key) which envato has already deprecated therefore you can’t update it with the usual method.
    You can do the following process instead:

    First make a backup:
    – Site Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-wordpress-site/
    – Theme Settings Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-theme-settings/

    Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.

    Once it is updated please let us know if the issue still persists.

    Second setup a staging site, some hosting provider offer an option to create a staging site via cpanel, if your webhost does not have it on your cpanel then you can use plugins, please check this article: https://wpengine.com/resources/what-is-a-staging-site-why-have-one/#How_to_Create_a_Staging_Site_for_WordPress

    Once you have setup a staging site, please proceed to update the stage site in order to test if it will mess up your site or not:

    Option 1: Use Envato Market to update your site
    – link: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Option 2: Update manually

    10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
    11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.

    If update is successful on the staging site then please proceed to update the live site.

    Then register the theme by following the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
    Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.

    If update is not successful then, please give us temporary admin access to your staging site and we’ll try to check further.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
