Same over here. Our Webmaster said he has this issue on many Sites with Enfold 4.4 (mailchimp API form field instead of Google API form field in Enfold backend) …at least its just a textline because putting in a renewed Google API key grants access as usual to a working Google Maps in Enfold (it just takes a while after you created a new API key till it will be recognized trough enfold … so wait and press 5 minutes later the check button in enfold)

We have a blog with some 65.000 posts. Whenever we want to update Enfold by uploading it parallel (/enfold-new/) to the old version and then just rename the two directories, we couldn’t open the website anymore. The database was loading and loading.
Now we are scared to just click on the update button.
What do you suggest?

Hi. I updated to enfold 4.4 and tried the privacy policy option putting the buttons into my privacy policy page: https://www.jamaicaparma.it/privacy-policy/ but it seems to me that nothing changes cause if i go into my page https://www.jamaicaparma.it/dove-siamo/ I’m still able to see to google map. Unfortunately, I have a problem with the Google Maps activation button.
I want to make a couple of changes. I added such code to Custom CSS in Enfold Child Theme Settings:

I’m one of the web developers on our team in charge of migrating our website to a new server and upgrading plugins and the Enfold theme.We were originally using Xili for our translations but switched to WPML for it’s continued maintenance and compatibility with the Enfold theme. Unfortunately, upon importing custom CSV files through WP All Import, using the WP ML add-on, Enfold fails to render the pages. Common errors are:

What we can not do: Individually translate each page. We have over 1,000 pages translated in over ten languages. Everything must be done in bulk, thus the reason behind WP All Import. Enfold was currently upgraded to the latest version and our child theme is up to date.
I am currently at a lost and can’t figure out why this happening. I have searched these forums for a solution but the errors are so generic none of the solutions apply to our current dilemma.
Reaching out to the developers here for support on how to resolve this issue.

Using the typefont uploader
The uploader is intended to use Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com/) to avoid connecting to the Google API.Following steps are required for normal use:
Open https://fonts.google.com
Select the fonts you like by clicking the red + sign (you may select multiple fonts)
A “Family Selected” bar pops up at the bottom
When finished click this bar and download the zip file by clicking the red “Arrow Down” sign in the right top corner
Goto WP -> Dashboard -> Enfold (Enfold Child) -> Import/Export
Click button “Upload/Select Typefont zip”
WP Media popup opens, upload the zip file you just downloaded (you can also choose an already uploaded font zip)
Click “Insert zip file” button
When upload is finished we save your options and reload the page so the new fonts become available in the selectboxes of “General Styling” and “Advanced Styling” tabs
Below the “Upload/Select Typefont zip” you see a list of all uploaded fonts with info of available styles and weights

Hey, I think the new solution of Enfold’s cookie consent message is basically great. From what I can see it is GDBR and will be e-privacy compliant.
But I have one question. If I use the modal window, a click on the button of the message bar opens the window. I can set what I want and close the modal window. But the actual cookie message remains visible and cannot be closed or won’t disappear by closing the modal window. Is that intentional? If not, an option to close that message as well would be needed quickly.
Secondly, will the modal window be added to the extended styling elements at some point?

Firstly, thanks for the replies.
Victoria – My initial question was regarding how the button on the Enfold contact form works. I think that is a fair enough question in this forum. The second part was asking for a pointer as to what may or may not be possible based on the answer to the first part (i.e. extra finctionality directly or via plugins etc.) – this is as you point out outside the scope of the forum but I was just hoping for a pointer in the right direction. However, thank you for taking the time to reply.

I´m getting the error “Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key” after pasting my Google API Key into the Google Services settings and pressing the “Check API Key” Button.
I followed the tutorial to generate a Google API Key, I don´t use a restriction setting on Google and I also deactivated all the plug-ins, but it´s still giving me this error.

Please go to Enfold theme options > General Styling > Quick CSS enter a space to enable save button and then save your theme options. That should fix the issues you mentioned in your first post.
Those are element ID’s added by theme.

VictoriaHello, I don’t understand how exactly this plugin should load fonts from my server and block downloading fonts from the google server. Maybe it’s someone who can explain it step by step?
On this Page I copied the CSS and paste it into the style.css of my ChildTheme. In functions.php in ChildTheme I have added a code
add_action( 'init', 'enfold_customization_switch_fonts' ); function enfold_customization_switch_fonts() { global $avia; $avia->style->print_extra_output = false; }as on PrintScreen1.
but fonts are still loaded from google servers as on PrintScreen2.
What is the case with Google Maps and SocialShareButtons because I can see that the Enfold update has appeared but there are no changes.

another day, another enfold website, another support request haha
1) I designed a new site for a customer. He has a very good eye for details. SO he testet the site on a lot of different screens and noticed, that on some the logo is somehow blurry. for me it looks perfectly sharp. Could you please take a look and tell me if i can do something to make it sharper? Maybe switching it with an svg would be a solution?
2) i modified the burger menu a lot as you can see. Problem is that the close button is very bad to see. I cant figure out the css to make it white and in the foreground, could you help me out here?
3) another thing the customer mentioned (something which also would never bother me) when you are at the top of the homepage, open the menu and click on the homepage (and did not scroll before) the menu would not close. He said a lot of the people he asked for feedback had a problem with this. Is there an easy way to close the menu just by clicking anywhere instead of a link and also closing it when clicking on the page that is currently active?

I hadn’t noticed your reply. Yep, I agree it is lame, and a really large priority number is how I’ve gotten around the issue too. It doesn’t feel right to do it that way, and I know it means I’ll have to hope that the priority for avia-merged-styles doesn’t change to something higher than mine, otherwise I’ll be back to square one.@Antonia, I would turn off any minification and make sure you’re getting things to work they way you want them too first – maybe you’ve already done that. By viewing your website’s source code (in the browser) you can check whether your stylesheet is loading after avia-merged-styles, then try with minification back on.
@Victoria Apologies for the very late reply. Yes, I was manually altering the load order of my child theme’s stylesheet so that it would be the last to load. It worked really well that way for over a year, until avia-merged-styles came along and used the exact same priority I had settled on. I loaded mine manually that way to make sure plugins weren’t coming in later than my stylesheet, so that I could style plugin buttons etc to match my theme. Looks like Enfold and I both had the same idea to use the number 999999 and I kind of assumed no one would go that high. Anyway, all is good now, and I’ve learned my lesson.Thank you all for your help.

I am using enfold & woocommerce. I created a new product. i did all the “styling” with the avia editor. Once i open this page for preview (or live). The whole top part of the page is not there (price, order button, images etc). Is there any chance to change this?
btw. if i do the design “manually” it workes fine.

My german is not perfect but I think you are asking to change the font size of all your buttons? If so, then you can set that under Enfold->Advanced Styling.
