    To come back also on the earlier CSS issue:
    I try to run the child theme without extra style sheet now and it works – almost – well. However, while the parent theme shows all the correct colors, the child theme shows a different color for buttons and menu items. It looks like the standard Enfold color.
    All the style settings in the admin panel seem to be ok.
    It looks like something goes wrong when or before the dynamic_avia/enfold_child.css is generated.
    Any idea where this error might take place?

    Hi guys,

    This is the first time I’m using Enfold or building a website, so please don’t kill me for asking stupid questions ;)
    I’ve been trying to make the Header solid, and the same color, whether you scroll or not. Also, I want the buttons (magnifying glass, hamburger menu. social media buttons) to be the same color – white.

    I’ve been searching these forums and the web for solutions. Through the settings in General Styling and Advanced Styling (I had put color of the header bar to #292522) I managed to make it the color I want, but the bar was still a little bit transparant when scrolling to the top of the page. Also, because I couldnt change the color of the icons they were not visible when they turned grey during scrolling.

    I did find a CSS code to change the color of the hamburger menu (as you can see it’s blue) for which I used this code: 

    .av-hamburger-inner, .av-hamburger-inner::after, .av-hamburger-inner::before {
    background: #00a7db!important;
}

    But this is not sufficient. I’d like to make them all the same color, and that they don’t change color when I scroll.

    So to summarise, I hope someone can help me to:
    1. Make the header bar 1 solid color, that doesn’t go transparant when you scroll to the top.
    2. Change the color of all the icons on the right (social media, hamburger menu, glass) – and that they dont change color when scrolling.
    Basically I’d like to know how to change it for both the transparant header and the normal sticky header.

    Hey Vrout,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    How did you add the button? Try to put the button inside a container with a unique id or class attribute (e.g “button-container”) and then set the width and height to 100%. You can then add the css hover effect like this.

    Thank you for writing to us.

    After adding the code please perform the below steps to clear the browser cache to view the changes:

    1. Disable “merging and compression” for CSS and JS files from Enfold > Performance.
    2. If a caching plugin is installed check the plugin settings and clear the cache and deactivate the plugins for testing purpose.
    3. Hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.

    If you still have any issue let us know exactly what you are trying to do and what you are not able to follow on the docs and share a link to your site so we can help you better.

    i would not do it this way. – just for one or two social buttons. Big advantage – you can have here colored icons.
    take one part of the code you posted above – but the second code should embed the colored png f.e.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure which scroll button you mean. If you refer to the default scroll to top button (which is used on all pages, not only the portfolio page) you can edit the code in enfold/js/avia.js. Search for the function avia_scroll_top_fade (starting with line 823) and replace 500 in line 832:

    with another value.

    It’s been a while since I used Enfold so what is the best way to change the default colors. How do you change the predefined color scheme? I updated all the colors in general styling but the buttons and icons on my contact page still pull in Splash Blue predefined color.

    Give the glass jar image and the button a unique class names

    Then use the custom CSS in Quick CSS to target each item with a z-index followed by the !important rule.

    I’m trying to add Google Fonts to Enfold.
    In this tutorial – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/typography/#toggle-id-15 – (and elsewhere) it says to go to Enfold > Import/Export > Custom Font Manager.
    I’m running 4.2.4 and there’s no ‘Custom Font Manager’ in the Import/Export page.
    I have two buttons relating to Theme Settings and then another ‘Iconfont Manager’ where I can ‘Upload/Select Fontello Font Zip’.
    I’ve tried uploading zipped fonts using this button but I get a failure notice:
    “Couldn’t add the font.
    The script returned the following error:

    Found no SVG file with font information in your folder. Was not able to create the necessary config files”

    Any help with this is appreciated.

    and the quantity number is missing.

    I’d recommend to report this to the plugin developers. If they can provide a fix for the cart widget you can use Enfolder cart item counter.

    If not I’d recommend to hide the counter with following css code:

    I should be running phh 7.1
    I think I have worked out most of the bugs on the site now.
    These notices appeared after I updated Enfold via ftp. I’m not sure if I need to pay attention to them or not:

    HI my site was down after I did a restore to a backup this morning. It got corrupted last night after I was trying out some code in the child theme
    I was seeing this:

    If I read that right, the error is in the child theme functions.php, correct?
    I see the code error is here in the file:

    I’m not sure I need that code anymore since I think I edited the magazine.php which I have in my child theme to show the excerpts instead with this code that you gave me:

    Also I have commented out the code and the excerpt are still showing fine (see page below). Not sure what to do there, if anything

    I reinstalled the theme and that seems to have fixed the error with the events-countdown.php file that was giving me that FATAL ERROR. When the debug was still on (it’s off now) I was getting these notices:

    Nein sicher nicht. Überprüfe bitte die Datenschutzeinstellungen unter Enfold > Theme Optionen > Privacy and Cookies und siehe nach, ob die “Append a privacy policy message to your login forms?” Checkbox markiert ist.

    2) Ja, die Hintergrundfarbe kannst Du mit:

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    Hi, Basilis,

    after installing Child Enfold not only the colour of the link is changes, but also the font is changed, the size of letters is wrong, The footer is now white instead of black.
    But all the colours in the menue, layout / addintional layout settings are correct.

    So the “real” is not like what is shown to be real.

    Also besides Facebook no ther Social Media buttons are shown in the footer.
