No, it actually uses /Presse-2-Kopie.jpg in lightbox so it does not create a new version, but displays original uploaded image instead of displaying a scaled version :)

That is definitely weird. I tried adding a new Masonry Gallery element with 2 random images and the same images showed up as well. Have you tried de-activating all active plugins and checked if that helps?
If you have, could you please post FTP logins here privately as well so we can look further into it?
