You can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
```
.av-main-nav > li > a { background-color: red; margin-left: 5px; }
.av-main-nav > li > a:hover { background-color: orange; }
```

Can you try re-installing the theme via FTP? – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
It does work totally fine on my local installation

Hey jmikhail!

With sticky header type, you would have z-index issue and transition when scrolled down would not be as soft. Please uncheck sticky header

In both codes you have 2 opening curly brackets and one closing

And this is an example of using media queries
```

}
```
You should close the curly bracket . In last two media queries you have, closing brackets are missing. I do not know how you would like to apply it to your custom CSS code so i did not close the last two. Please check it
