I checked in Firefox, Safari and Chrome, all latest versions but i could not reproduce the issue. I will ask @andy to take a look at your page on his Mac. Please kindly wait to hear from him.
EDIT: in the meantime, please try checking your website on another computer and see if you can reproduce flickering issue

0.5 here is opacity level which is 0.1 by default and 0,0,0 is RGB value of the color. Please adjust as needed

and add your code right below it. If you can post the code you would like to use ( please use pastebin.com in that case ) we can help you with how it should be implemented

We strongly recommend using child theme if you are making changes on theme files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
You can refer to this page – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ and create a testing environment and try your child theme there firstly and see if updating the theme causes any issues on your modified elements
