The missing border has got something to do with the padding try and adjust the paddings.

To edit the paragraph text please goto appearance > menu and select the menu item.

Hey!

Please check the test home page. feel free to edit the background images on the 1/3 grid items and adjust the opacity in quick css.

You will notice
background:rgba(248,248,248,.75);
the last decimal number .75 is the opacity amount out of 0 to .100. Where 100 means fully visible.

1. As I understand there was a vimeo video on the homepage above the 4 banners which is not not visible.

2. On the live page there was a counter below “Next service begins in.” which is not visible any more…

Increasing the memory on the server by your hosting company will partially help your site performance on the frontend.

If you like to add the css and customize please add it to Enfold > General Settings > Quick CSS

However if you have a lot of customization to do you can also use a child theme.

Hey djshortkut!

The example site uses an additional div to mask the image and then on hover fades that addition div.
Where as on your site the background image loads from a css class on hover. So when the mouse is taken off the hover state is off and it suddenly disappear as transition is not supported in CSS. To make it similar to the example site the current html structure on your site will not support it. We have to code this from scratch let us know your login details if it is not too much of customization work we will surely help you with this.

Alternatively you may try this lightbox settings in the gallery options which i think you will like it more than checking images in a new page and closing them and coming back to view the rest. on the phone this process would give users a hard time so lightbox makes it very easy to view them all.
