That’s a good question :)
The page where the galleries are fullwidth, starts with the fullwidth slider and so all the other content expands. The impressions page starts with the special header and so everything gets wrapped in a limiting container. Try putting the first special header in the color section.

That is portfolio masonry, you need to have portfolios or posts in the category to be shown in the sortable masonry.

No, it will no work like that and it the layout you have the transparent logo does not make sense. The logo transparency looks good with some slider or fullwidth image on top of the page.
Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
