Yes, those cells are hidden by css and yes, the css you added makes them show up. This is how we work with the css too:)

The issue is on the Google side and Google provides plenty of documentation and there might be videos on how to get the key and set up billing.

On the website, you just have to paste the key and the map will work.

The thing is the changes you introduce in the permalinks normally cause conflict with taxonomies and so the issues are interconnected and not related to the theme. Please reconsider your permalink settings.
