Hi Blanche,

There are many bots on the Internet and thy spam everything they can and so a simple Contact form is not such a simple function at the end of the day. You need anti-spam plugins to protect your website and any SMPT plugin to send mail. If Google reCAPTCHA works well enough for you, you don’t need another anti-spam plugin.

You need to use the buttons classes instead of id.

Yes, the Advanced Layout Builder stips html tags in most cases.

You can add external JavaScript’s using the button classes and the page-id classes.

The excerpts are not meant to be shown on the single post page but if you really need the excerpt you can modify the single.php or the includes/loop-index.php and add the code there.

You need to copy this file to your child theme /includes/admin/register-widget-area.php, yes, you need to create your child theme.
And edit that file exchanging all h3 to the divs.
