There are js errors coming from the file in private. You could try deactivating file compression under Enfold->Performance to see if that helps.

Hey Elisa,

I don’t think that updating gradually would make any difference to be honest, I would suggest that you update to the latest version directly. The update to 7.1 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for that. If you are using OVH hosting then importing demos is not possible due to their server settings. We can import the shortcodes which make up the content of the demo though, is there anything specific in the demo that you would like to import?

Hi,

I’ve uploaded an old version for you again, edited the heading and it’s working. Please review your site. If the version I uploaded should disappear again, then you would have to reach out to your hosting provider and ask why that is. You can check which themes are installed under Appearance->Themes.

Thanks for the update. I can’t really recommend anything, as this is not a general theme problem. I tried connecting to your server via FTP, but the login details are not working anymore. Please check and verify.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. Are you sure that you are installing the correct file? The zip file that you download from Themeforest might have to be unpacked on your local machine, then select to install enfold.zip located inside of the unpacked directory.

Thanks for that. I tried activating the parent theme to check if any of your customisations might be causing this problem, but after that the site seems to have crashed. If you need help with that, then please restore the site from a backup, or share FTP login details with us.
