Hi Drew,

The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

You might want to consider updating on a staging site first, to see if the update works as it should there.

Hey Michaela,

I would recommend that you use the Layout Builder which is included in the theme, instead of Elementor, as it’s not supported by the theme. You might be able to run Elementor on your site, but we can provide you answers on how it actually works unfortunately.

Once you have bought the theme, you can select to download any demo from the theme options. You don’t have to decide on the demo before you buy the theme.

Thanks for that, I see the same problem with the Kunden section. Could you try to clear the cache from your caching plugin, and/or disable it, to see if that changes anything please?

Also, there are 36 image in the section, you might want to consider removing a row or two as well, to see if that helps with loading.
