I’m asking if you could activate a default WordPress theme, to see what happens then? Are the videos working as they should after that, or is the behaviour the same as when Enfold is active? They did not work on my test site, when I activated TwentyTwenty-One. That is why I’m asking if you could check and verify if you are seeing the same behaviour?

Thanks for the login details. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.8.5) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

We released version 4.8.5 yesterday, which fixes the problems introduced with 4.8.4, and it works fine with WordPress 5.8 as well. Thanks @Dommel for helping out :-)

Thanks for the update. We had some problems with version 4.8.4, but we released a new version yesterday, which should have solved them. Maybe you could try updating to that on a staging version of your production site first? If not, then you can continue using 4.8.3, since most of the updates in the new versions were restructured code on the backend. There’s only a few new theme features which you are missing out on. Here’s the change log for the new version:
