Some hosting companies provide temporary development URLs which you might be able to use, but you will still need a license of the theme in order to use it.

Thanks for reaching out to use. If you want to use Enfold for your site, then you would first have to purchase a license here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990. After that you would need to install it on your WordPress installation. If you would like to use one of the demos, then you can download them under Enfold->Demo Import, once the theme is installed.

Hi Nic,

Please don’t overwrite the child theme, if it contains modifications which you would like to keep. Only upload the parent theme files, and you should upload all of them. You could create a new folder called enfold_new for example, then upload all the files there. Once the upload is done, then you can change the name of the old folder to enfold_old, and rename the new folder to simply enfold. After that the update should be done.

Thanks for the update, I’m glad that you found the cause of your problem. I don’t think there’s an easy way of removing that unfortunately, you will probably have to do it manually. You might want to reach out to the plugin authors and ask the same question, just in case they have a solution for you.

Hi,

Thanks for that. The logo you have set in the theme options doesn’t seem to exist, so I’m guessing that is the problem? Please try changing it to a different image to see if that helps.

Thanks for the login details. Do you mean that the Layout tab is missing on your posts? If so then I can’t reproduce the problem on a test installation, but I do see the problem on your site. Does is make a difference if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? Also please try to update to the latest version (4.8.6) of the theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If none of those things should work, then please try disabling all plugins.

Sorry for the problem. I checked both the pages you linked to, but I can’t see any problem there on first load. The background images are showing up fine on my end. Could you try loading the pages in different browsers, or check in incognito/private windows please?

Thanks for that. I got it working now, and I still see the problem. When inspecting the page in the browser, the problem disappears though, which will make it a bit difficult to debug. I see that you are running Autoptimize on the site, does it make any difference if you disable that?
