Hi,
If you have downloaded the theme package from Themeforest, then unpack it on your local machine, then install the enfold.zip file located in the unpacked directory.
Best regards,
RikardHey Akhurst,
Our support for third party plugins is limited unfortunately, please try reaching out to the plugin developers first of all.
Best regards,
RikardHey NicomIT,
The thread you linked to is 7 years old, if there was a general problem with uploading images to the theme then it would have been fixed a long time ago. Are you sure that it’s not a conflict with another plugin or custom code? What is the actual error saying? How exactly did the developer that you have been in touch with come to the conclusion that the problem lies with Enfold, and which code is responsible for the problem in the theme? Please note that our support for problems with third party plugins is limited.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. Could you post a link to where we can see the actual problem please?

Thanks for the update, we’ll close this thread for now then. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

RikardHi,
Thanks for that, but those are not fatal errors. The server is returning a 500 internal server error, and those lines are what is interesting. You should try to ask your hosting provider why the server is responing with a fatal error on the file in question as well.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. If you activate the theme globally, then you should only have to install it once.

Thanks for the update. I’m not sure why this is happening, but there seems to be something wrong with the files, they might be corrupt. I get this error while trying to upload the theme settings to the WordPress media library on two separate test installations:
Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type.
Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider and check if they might know what the problem could be? I don’t think this a theme problem, as it works when I try the same procedure between my test installations, and we haven’t had any other users report this problem either.
Best regards,
RikardHey Dijkhuis,
They all look like purchase codes, did you follow this guide? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

RikardHey jkos,
You can upload images to an array of different services online. For example Google Drive, Dropbox, Imgur, Snipboard etc. Then you can link to the image in your reply.

Are you sure that you are using the correct file? The package that you download from Themeforest might have to be unpacked on your local machine, then use enfold.zip located in the extracted file.

The update to 7.1.1 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/Best regards,

You can edit the excerpt in the Exerpt field. If you can’t see it, then select to show it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen while editing a post.

RikardHey Stefan,
Could you post a link to where we can see the actual elements on your site please?

You will need to have purchased a theme license on Themeforest in order to receive updates. Once you have access to the theme files, then please follow this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

RikardHey Winston,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
1. You can modify the demos as you see fit, you can freely remove and add content.
2. We haven’t tested the theme with that plugin, so we cannot say if it would work as intented with Enfold or not. If you should have any problems with it, then you can always open a new thread on our support forum.Best regards,

RikardHi,
Thanks for that. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #top .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper { text-align: left; } }

What happens if you increase these variables on the server?
PHP time limit Max input time

RikardHey Stefan,
You would have to use a class for additional styles:
<strong class="your-strong-class">Bold text</strong>
strong.your-strong-class { Styling goes here }

RikardHey Paul,
It looks like the resources on the site you linked are pointing to another URL, please try update all instances of the old URL to the new one. You could try using search and replace plugin for example.

RikardHey Paul,
Please increase the memory allocated to PHP on your installation: https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/wordpress/wp-config/#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP. Also update to the latest version of the theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.

RikardHi,
Themeforest is not our site, please login to your account on Themeforest.
To download a purchased item from ThemeForest, log in to your Envato Market account, navigate to the “Downloads” section, find the desired item, and click the “Download” button to access the item’s files. You can choose between downloading the “Main Files” (containing all files) or the “License certificate & purchase code”.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
1. Log into your Envato Market account: ThemeForest is part of the Envato Market platform, so you’ll need to log in to your Envato account.
2. Navigate to the Downloads section: Envato Market Help Center provides instructions on how to find your downloads. Hover over your username, and you’ll find the “Downloads” link in the dropdown menu.
3. Locate the purchased item: Once in the Downloads section, find the specific item you want to download.
4. Click the Download button: Next to the item, you’ll see a “Download” button.
5. Choose your download option: The dropdown menu will offer options like “Main Files” (containing all files related to the item) or “License certificate & purchase code”. Select the appropriate option based on your needs.Best regards,
Rikard -
