The structure of footer.php has changed from the version you are updating from, so you would need to replace footer.php in your child theme with the parent theme file. You can add your customisations back in after that. If you need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

You might want to consider only applying it to the page in question though, if you intend to keep the normal behaviour on other pages.

Hi,

The problem on your site is likely caused by a conflict between the theme file compression functionality, and your caching plugin. You should be able to use the plugin to compress your files instead though, so the theme functionality is not necessary while running the plugin in question.
