Hi,

Blank spaces are not allowed in anchor links, please see private. Try removing that to see if it helps. Also note that MyShop and myshop are not the same thing in anchor links.

There’s nothing like that in the theme by default unfortunately. Did you try searching for a membership plugin? Something like that might be useful when trying to create functionality like what you are asking for.

Hey Simon,

Could you try to update to the latest version (5.4) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.4 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for the video. I can’t see that behaviour on my end when checking in Chrome though, which browser are you using? Also, did you using a private/incognito browser window, and does the same thing happen then?

Thanks for the update and clarification. I’m not sure if we can help you out much more than they can though, for the same reasons I guess; we don’t know how their caching works. Is there a way to exclude posts from their caching maybe? Did you try deactivating everything under Enfold->Performance, and did that change anything?

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

If so, then that is a server error. Please try reaching out to your hosting for further help with that.

I tried changing some content on the backend on your front page, and it worked as expected.

It’s ok to use the same license for development purposes. I would recommend that you don’t add your Envato API token to the development instance though, try to only keep that active on the live site.

Thanks for the login details, I see that you are currently running PHP 7.4. Please try to deactivate all plugins and custom code, then update the theme to 5.4:
https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. After that you can try to run PHP 8 again. If you should still get error messages after that, then please send us the server error logs.

Hi Jutta,

If you are only using the default editor, then technically the behaviour should be the same if you change themes. In other words; it should not be theme specific, as it’s default WordPress functionality.

We are not aware of any issues after adding or changing the API keys, that’s should not affect any other functionality on your installation.
