Far from all RSS feeds have images included, please make sure that you have full-text selected under Settings–>Reading.

I’m still not sure I understand the actual problem your having but I think that you are looking to link to different categories, correct? To do so, all you have to do is to go Appearance–>Menus and select the category you want to link to and add it to the menu.

The problem was that you used #top for the first menu item which is the id of body tag which wraps the whole site so it was ‘active’ all the time. I changed the first menu items to #header instead and it’s working as it should now.

As far as I know you are the only one having this problem, did your developer not find a solution for it? I not sure I can give you any other solutions than the ones which have already been posted. I think your best course of action would be to remove all custom code and start from scratch to see which of the solutions above actually works.

Did you double check the settings for sidebar in your individual posts in the righthand menu when editing? If that doesn’t work, please send us a temporary admin login and we’ll have a closer look. You can post the details as a private reply.

Yes you should be able to do that, just add the changes to the corresponding file(s) in your child theme.

You could try to reset your .htaccess setttings by going to Settings–>Permalink, select default and save then select the setting you want and save again to see if that works.
