Hey zimbo,

You can do that under Enfold->Layout Builder. Look for the Disable Advanced Layout Builder Preview In Backend option.

Hey vantagepointmg,

I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (5.6.2) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.6.2 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Hi Chris,

The Enfold layout builder isn’t really meant to be used for switching between it and the default WordPress editor. Maybe the content which is there was saved because the page was saved when the default editor was active? I’m not sure if there is any quicker way of fixing this other than manually removing the content in the default editor, then save while it is active as well.

Hi,

Thanks for that. The Quick Notes link is working on my end, is the problem that it’s scrolling to far maybe? If so, then you can try adding the anchor in an element above the element which you want to scroll to. You can add something like this in a Text Block element for example:

<div id="your-anchor"> </div>
```

Are you overriding header.php or footer.php in your child theme? If so, then please try to replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisations back in after that.

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand your question, is it broken somehow? Please note that this is default WordPress behaviour, the option in question was moved to the sidebar when the Block editor was introduced.

Hi,

Thanks for that. It looks like insufficient memory is the problem on your installation. You could try 512 for example. If that doesn’t work, then please try reaching out to your hosting provider, as changing the memory configuration in wp-config.php doesn’t always work.
