If you edit a parent theme file directly, then you changes will be overwritten on updates, unless you update manually and leave that file out. What changes are you looking to make exactly?

Hi John,

Disappearing content; is that happening on the backend in the Layout Builder? If so then you likely have open html markup somewhere in your content just before the sections which disappear:

<strong>Bold text closed properly</strong>

Please check for any markup which might still be open, since it breaks the Layout Builder. I’m not sure how many revisions will be save actually, since that is default WordPress functionality. But I can imagine that it saves something like 10 for each page.

Thanks for the login details. Since you have used the Layout Builder to create your post, the tags will not be added automatically. When using the Layout Builder for posts, all content needs to be added manually. Could you try using the regular editor if you want tags to be included, or if you use a widget area and use the Tag Cloud widget.

Hey pelgrimrat,

That is the default behaviour of those element as they are full width. If you want to add anchors then you could do so in a text block above the element you are linking to with an empty div for instance:
