    If I wish to customize the form via contact-form.php, will the changes be lost with each update?

    Hi,

    If you edit a parent theme file directly, then you changes will be overwritten on updates, unless you update manually and leave that file out. What changes are you looking to make exactly?

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

    This is a whole separate file, this cannot be done via functions.php. You might want to hire someone to help you integrate it into your website.
