    please see log in username, sorry about that.
    I tried deactivating all plugins, still get the same error, and have re-activated the plugins.

    An error occurred while updating Enfold: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/images/sc-price.png ……. ETC ETC

    I’ve learned enfold over 4 years and love 4.3 and the recent mobile updates as well. Enfold is AWESOME.

    Thanks v much .

    In the end I used the ‘bottom without frame’ and it’s worked perfectly.

    I’ve discovered why this didn’t work before … resizing on a desktop to a portrait screen (like on an iphone) would, I had assumed, replicate how the webpage appears on an iphone. But in fact you can only see this work on the iphone itself!

    But hopefully someone else can use the code

    Thanks I did manage to upgrade the theme and have put that on the other ticket.

    How to Install Enfold Theme

    ‘Re-installing the theme is nothing complicated it is same as deleting a folder on your desktop and re-creating a new one 🙂 Just access WordPress directory on your server and go to folder “wp-content/themes” delete “enfold” folder and upload the fresh copy of the theme files downloaded from ThemeForest.’

    Perhaps adding in that you should try to delete it first … if the simple re-install doesn’t work.

    I am pretty good at checking forums first … so if anyone else has this issue then they should try DELETING the enfold under themes and then re-upload.

    Also, I’ve often had to re-install updates and have never had this issue before.

    Sorry for the delay, please find attached the credentials.

    Please note that the issue is the position of the caption over the mobile image that is ‘FULLSCREEN SLIDER’ and NOT the Fullswidth slider that only shows for larger screens. The caption is currently over the face! But caption at the bottom is too far down.

    Please note that there is another ticket on the same website because I can’t update the theme even manually #958046

    The reason for asking is that I wants to future-proof the site as much as possible without future hiccups.
    Also another site has problem updating.
    I’m not sure where I got this child theme funcdtions.php code from … I think it’s in the enfold default child theme so am a bit unsure what to do …. what does this code doe?

    The final issue is this

    The website loads but I get this warning at the top:

    Notice: Use of undefined constant ‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’ – assumed ‘‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’’ in /mnt/data/home/54602-44563.cloudwaysapps.com/bmhyjueaed/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php on line 8

    So I removed line 8 of the child theme which is this:

    add_theme_support(‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’);

    And the website not loads correctly.

    YOUR OPION PLEASE
    IS THIS REQUIRED IN FUNCTIONS.PHP of child theme:

    add_theme_support(‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’);

    The website still doesn’t load properly https://www.easytravelclinic.com.au/

    I could revert to a previous version like I did on the first post a week ago (I gave up then)

    But the concern is that I won’t be able to upgrade for some reason in future.

    Thanks for your ongoing help to resolve this.

    I can go back to cloudways again but they did state it was a theme issue with the above reports.

    I will just ask them again though.

    Cloudways have had another look and are stating it’s a theme issue as follows

    We have cleared the cache from server level . But while accessing the site the following error log is being generated that indicates an issue with the current theme of the site.

    ps. The website does now work because I’ve done a restore to an earlier version.

    just a reminder … this issue with http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-app/ on iPad has been going on for 6 months since the demo was launched … only an issue for me since trying to use it as a template … how about we just refer to the demo website to avoid any confusion about clearing cache etc?

    OK, just to recap
    – the 4 x iPhone pictures that scroll in / out as you look down the page do not appear on iPad

    Did you take the screenshot from an iPad?

    I’ve checked the issue many times – it is one at least on iPad air 2.

    I’ve just re-checked the app demo, and the images in the left columns do not appear in both landscape and portrait (2:5 column) – just the background colour (white or blue)

    I noticed this when the demo came out but now I’m trying to use this amazing design !!

    There are some other forum entries also with this issue.

    I don’t have API on any other plugin.

    Cache has been cleared.

    Problem on all 5 enfold sites for several months … latest theme / have tried deleting the API’s and creating new ones
    (one for each site)
    + multiple referrer-URL’s * including no referrer at all*

    This google maps is really temperamental!

    Yes, I had a problem… 500 error, not fixed by disabling all plug-ins and disabling HT access, the hosting company honed it down to some PHP errors , Had to go back to 3 days old backup… Still not sure why it was broken

    Thanks for getting back! OK, let me explain as we’re not quite on the same wavelength :-)

    Enfold / Header / Transparency Options “Upload a logo image”

    This image “shows” on non-mobile.
    On mobile, the theme uses the standard logo.

    The request is to make the image uploaded above “appear” on mobile – as it does non-mobile.

    (There are lots of CSS snippets on previous posts to make mobile header transparent, but not for the image above to be used).

    Did you give the icons a unique font name? –*** next to the red button, top right of the Fontello screen?*** Otherwise you get weird symbols, this was on another thread answered today. … in your third step this needs to be done.

    I just wonder in future though – as I have another site I really want to use TRANSPARENT LOGO ON MOBILE – whether there is a solution?
    (if anyone else looks at this thread – the above code makes the header transparent, and uses an image instead of the transparent logo)

    This is an issue that hasn’t been resolved on previous threads !
