December 4, 2018 at 6:58 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Empty Cart Issue After Adding Products #1040853
Hi Niko,
I have included our staging site login and FTP credentials in the private content of the reply.
Thanks in advance!
In using RobotNinja’s plugin and site, I did notice the following:
Our website, TheMallardCreek.com passes the tests. Mallard Creek’s site has Enfold 4.4.1 and WooCommerce 3.5.2 installed.
FairwaysMembership.com does not pass the test and I get the following error code:
“After adding a product to the cart, Robot Ninja navigated to your store’s Checkout page (https://fairwaysmembership.com/checkout/) but was unable to confirm the page was loaded by looking for an element with class namewoocommerce-checkout
. Robot Ninja waited a maximum of 10 seconds before timing out.”I have also included the RobotNinja.com login credentials to potentially help you more.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for the response. I managed to get our store for http://www.TheMallardCreek.com back up to speed. It’s currently running on Enfold 4.4.1
I have noticed that sometimes the issue does not occur. Sometimes it does. Also, when it does, navigating away from the cart page or refreshing seems to fix the issue.
For FairwaysMembership.com I will add login credentials for the staging site for you to take a look.
Here is some feedback I received:

The object-cache.php file in wp-content was renamed. I’m not sure if this was something that resulted from an update of Enfold, GoDaddy php or something else.)

I’ve always appreciated the support service I’ve received with Enfold.
That said, 2 responses from you guys in 11 days is not okay. It’s the busiest online sales time of the year, and you have offered me no guidance as to how best to troubleshoot this issue with Enfold.
A simple facebook ad showed that more than $3,500 were added to the cart in 5 days. Of course, because the theme isn’t cooperating, that resulted in $550 worth of sales. Do you see the problem here? If no one is willing to solve the problem, people who depend on our business are going to miss out. So, let’s solve the issue!
Thanks
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for getting back to me. In trying to basically put a band-aid on the online store, I did go over to WooCommerce > Settings > Products and ticked both checkboxes for ‘Redirect to Cart page after successful addition’ and ‘Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives’
I did this in hopes that it would allow everything to communicate better to get past the cart issue. However, I believe it is still an issue we’re having. Looking back at the past few days worth of traffic and conversions, the rate is much lower than usual. For example, yesterday we had 2 purchases after 19 cart views. As these are members being influenced to buy a limited-time discount card, our usual % of purchases to cart views is at least in the 50% range.
I do wonder if this could have been perhaps caused by slow internet? A lot of times, when updating plugins or the theme at my workplace (about 10mbps on a good day), the server can time out. That said, with the new token system for Enfold theme, I don’t know how best to unistall and reinstall the theme to see if that could be the issue.
Overall, literally any help or thoughts here would be fantastic. I’m at a loss as I can’t identify the problem to begin to find a fix. And, that’s made less fun by an unhappy boss and the holiday selling season right now.
Thanks again!
Is anyone available to help? I had 46 pageviews on the ‘Cart’ page yesterday and only 4 purchases. At this point, we are starting to lose money because of the theme conflict with WooCoomerce.
Thanks!!
Upon deactivating all of the plugins with the exception of WooCommerce and keeping the Enfold theme, the issue exists.
If logged out, the cart page always shows as empty. If logged in, the cart page seems to work.
After switching to twenty seventeen, all works as it should.
Also, the online store works as it should for another site (www.TheMallardCreek.com) which does not have Enfold updated to 4.5

I am also now receiving the following error on various orders online:
Array
(
[0] => stdClass Object
(
[category] => INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR
[code] => MISSING_REQUIRED_PARAMETER
[detail] => Missing required parameter.
[field] => card_nonce
))
Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.After looking into it, this again appears to be a theme issue. Here is some information I found on Square’s Woocommerce forum: card_noonce theme issue
Even if you guys cannot fix it, can you point me in the direction of what the error is?
Hi,
I deactivated Booster for WooCommerce, but am still seeing many of the same errors. Are there any known conflicts between Enfold and WooCommerce at this time that could be affecting the functionality?
It doesn’t, however, seem to be a constant problem. Some customers will get through without an issue. Others have had the issue repeatedly with no obvious connection between device type, browser, whether they are logged in or not, etc.
If you want to log into the backend of the site, please feel free to do so. I also downloaded Query Monitor to try to pinpoint the issue, but haven’t noticed much.
Thanks in advance for some help!
In going through my Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS I did come across this:
.woocommerce .blockUI.blockOverlay {
position: relative!important;
display: none!important;
}Could this be the culprit of preventing the view cart from showing what should have been added?
Hi Dude,
I added the code to the General Styling CSS area:
.woocommerce .blockUI.blockOverlay {
position: relative!important;
display: none!important;
}This has worked on all of the office computers with Explorer, safari and Chrome. Would you be tentative to send this out to customers in my position or would you just go ahead and see how it all works?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for going ahead and doing that. Unfortunately, the same is not true for me. Oddly enough, it works find when I am viewing the site as an admin.
However, when I test on other, non-logged in computers in the office on either Safari, Chrome or IE, the same issue is occurring. On the Safari browser, I did login to another of my ‘customer’ accounts. Once I did that, I was able to use the datepicker.
Is there a chance that the calendar has somehow been set to only appear if a user’s logged in? If so, how can I disable this so that people actually go through the process without becoming very confused?

Here is something I have found in the inspect tool from chrome:
Console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
Style: #top .wc-bookings-booking-form .blockUI.blockOverlay {
background-color: #ffffff !important;
}-
I am wondering if this CSS would work but don’t want to implement it if there’s a bigger issue on the horizon:
.woocommerce .blockUI.blockOverlay {
position: relative!important;
display: none!important;
}That worked. Thank you!
Okay, thank you Victoria. I appreciate the assistance. Have a great day!
Sure thing, I placed it in the private content.
I am wondering if it’s a Jetpack related issue.
Or potentially SuperForms which I installed to try and create a page that you plugin some information and it then outputs your projected savings.
Vinay, thank you for taking the time to both explain to me how you did that and to implement the solution.
Have yourself a great day! Thank you again!

Also, I have noticed that there is a lot of spacing between sections. While that is not a problem on desktop, it is a bit clunky on mobile. I tried using the ‘whitespace separator’ with -20px, but that did not work. Any guidance there would be great and much appreciated as well.

Thank you, Rikard and Happy New Year!
P.s. – Tried Avada a few weeks ago and Enfold blows it out of the water. May never switch from your themes again on any of my sites!
Guenni007,
Thank you for all of that, it really is much appreciated! Glad to know there are people in the world willing to help without needing anything in return
Thanks again!
I started using the following before each line of text and it appears to work well: <span style=”font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ‘Segoe UI’, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, ‘Helvetica Neue’, sans-serif;”>
Any problems with using this?

I’m wondering if it could be the WP-FB Autoconnect, but the spam users don’t seem to be associated with a Facebook account.
Any thoughts?
Hi Victoria,
Our website is FairwaysMembership.com
The page with the grid layout is our Benefits of Membership Page
Thank you in advance!
Login is in the private section, can provide FTP as well if needed.
Rikard,
Thank you! You’ve been a big help!
Hi Basilis,
Thanks for the response. That is exactly what I figured would be the case.
Tangent here, but when using the ALB, is there anywhere to say ‘store’ or save ‘draft elements’?
For example, I am creating a Membership Testimonial Page and there are about 20 testimonials. Some are a paragraph, some a few, so the height and overall appearance becomes a serious guess and check. However, if I could drop these into a storage type bin it would be helpful. Not sure if I am just missing something or if you know of a workaround.
In a testimonial section, can I make a manual height and width and have a scroll bar within that section? It’s not the biggest deal in the world, just dislike the content below always floating up and down.
Thanks again!
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for the reply.
You can see the effect in action here: https://fairwaysmembership.com/fairways-golf-membership/
I like the effect on the stock photos that alternate left and right aligned. And I’m happy that it does not affect the header. However, I do not necessarily want the Fairways Logo (left of initial copy) or product images to show in grayscale and would rather they stay their original full color.
I don’t mind applying the effect on an individual basis, but do not know how to assign the CSS to individual or a grouping of images.
Thank you in advance!
Thank you for all of the help! You guys make the Enfold theme top notch
