Great, thanks, Yigit!
Awesome, thanks for the reply and info. I ended up doing that as the page I had issues with was first made in 2017, so I figured it might have been time to start from scratch anyway.
With the difficulty WP Rocket seems to present oftentimes, I was wondering if there’s a guide for setting up the plugin with Enfold? If not, that’s no problem. I may just deactivate the plugin

Awesome, thanks Nikko! I always get confused on that stuff and tried to do what the Kinsta/WP Rocket guide said and tried testing, but I’m sure it can take some time for those changes in settings and things to be reactive.
Prior to your help, I considered deleting the page and creating a new one from scratch with the same title/url. If I were to do that in the future, is that something that would cause issues? Thanks!

February 23, 2021 at 6:22 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Digital Wallet, Default Store and PayPal Buttons Alignment/Spacing #1283189Mike,
Thanks for getting that over to me. Finally got a moment to give it a try and it’s working much better and looks a lot more organized. Thanks, Mike!
February 9, 2021 at 6:39 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Digital Wallet, Default Store and PayPal Buttons Alignment/Spacing #1279187Mike, thank you much. Apologies for my delayed response as well.
I will give this a go today and circle back with you. Thanks again!
October 29, 2020 at 8:04 pm in reply to: Spacing/Padding for PayPal Buttons on Product, Cart and Checkout Page #1256866I did use the following css in the customizer tool, but was not sure if it’s done correctly:
.woocommerce-page .button {
margin: 5px 2px 24px 2px;
}
#top #payment #place_order {
float: none;
margin: 5px 2px 24px 2px;
}October 1, 2020 at 4:40 pm in reply to: Fullscreen Slider Video, Fallback Image and YouTube #1249904Hi Ismael,
I went ahead and removed it just to try to keep the page loading quicker during the initial sales period for us. It seemed to load the fallback image I had uploaded first and then would flicker to the default YouTube preview image with the play button.
As I was only enabling the fullscreen slider element here for desktop users as is, I decided to just change it to an image and get to working on some other odds and ends.
Thank you, Victoria! I appreciate all of the help. Enjoy your day!
Sorry for the slow reply, but I really appreciate the help. I’ve been using WP Smush, so that’s good to hear considering any google search of a plugin leads to reading horror stories haha.
Thanks again, Ismael!
Hi there,
Any advice on the best dimensions for background and/or header images regarding the previous message?
Thanks!
I’ve noticed the recent update where ‘improved instagram social profile logo’ has resulted in a few of my websites not displaying the instagram icon. I tried clearing the cache, but is there anything I can do to get the logo (old or new) to appear again?
Hi Victoria,
It seems as though updating to the newest version of the theme corrected the issue.
Thank you for taking the time to look, though!

Hi Rikard,
Just out of general curiosity, any estimate as to when that’s expected to release? I always enjoy getting to know new features with theme updates.
January 6, 2020 at 7:48 pm in reply to: WooCommerce – Issue With Postal Code Field Display with Square Gateway #1170825Awesome, thank you for the help! I hope you had a great holiday and well-deserved time off :)
Hi Jordan,
Thank you for sending that my way! Much appreciated.
Awesome, thanks Rikard!
I noticed my social icons appearance in that same header area are not visible. Is there any CSS I can add to make them white or a method to style them within Enfold options?
Thanks again!
December 10, 2019 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Fullscreen Slider Video Playing at Low Resolution #1164563Mike,
No worries on taking a bit of time – we’re all busy this time of year!
I appreciate you taking the time to test everything and see what could be the issue. I thought it might be internet connection related, so it’s at least good to know that’s the case.
I know I could speed up the website’s performance by deferring parsing of Javascript and optimizing our images. I know how to optimize images, but wanted to see if you had any documentation or resources for deferring parsing of Javascript?
Thanks again!
November 11, 2019 at 7:59 pm in reply to: Linking Text Blocks Alongside Other Layout Sections #1155749Okay, thank you so much! Do you have any example css used for images added within a text block? I always seem to have issues with the padding and margin of the images when I try to place them in-line. Some example css elements/modifications for images inserted into text blocks would be a great help!
Thanks again!
November 7, 2019 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Linking Text Blocks Alongside Other Layout Sections #1154679I know this is a computer software product, but InDesign and some others have the feature. You can see what I’m trying to say by “linking text blocks” within this video hereLinking Text Box Example
What I am hoping to achieve is that say a page a 1/4 column with a graphic followed by a 3/4 column with text inside. Below those two-column is a full-width 1/1 column containing an additional text block. So, I’m hoping to find a way to have the text from the 3/4 column overflow into the following 1/1 column below.
Awesome, thank you Mike! I appreciate the help!
October 18, 2019 at 10:04 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Checkout Errors with Square/Enfold Theme #1149420I have been having the same issues on FairwaysMembership.com
Beyond the internal server errors, I receive intermittently, I am also having the connection to Square’s API (I believe through OAuth tokens) dropped. Typically, this just requires me to go to woo>settings>Square>connect to square>save changes.
After speaking with support at WooCommerce, Square, RobotNinja and Kinsta, it does not appear to be a hosting issue. WooCommerce has not pinpointed the issue yet and Square referred me to speak to WooCommerce. I did include an image of what Robot Ninja suggested: WooCommerce and Square Tokens" />
Today, I was working on FairwaysMembership.com and decided to navigate over to TheMallardCreek.com to see if there were similar issues. And the connection issue (I believe it’s likely related) presented itself while screen recording. Here’s the screen recording on YouTube
My only decent guess is that it could potentially relate to the file compression settings under Enfold>Performance>File Compression could be causing the token authorization or refreshing to timeout or not complete?
Hi Mike,
No worries, I always appreciate the help regardless. I went ahead and inserted the fullscreen slider at the top of the landing page. The first one is 16:9 and the second one is displayed using “display video in default mode”, feel free to select which slider you think will functionally work better.
My other thought here was using a color section below with a negative whitespace above it to fade in with the text and button. But, I’m not sure how well that might work across different devices when it comes to spacing.
Many thanks in advance, Mike!
Hi Jordan,
Okay, that’s what I had thought, but never hurts to ask. Thanks for the quick response!
Hi Gunter,
Apologies for the slow reply as I have been out of the office with the flu.
That’s very strange in regards to the Viral Sweep page load as that’s a contest service we use to grow email subscribers. It’s usually just a quick and easy line of code I insert into a code block on a landing page. Granted, we’re not currently using it and there haven’t been any card_nonce issues recently, so I suppose it could be a culprit.
If this happens again in the future, what would you suggest looking for using Google Developer Console to pinpoint?
Thanks again for all of the help!
– Neil
Hi All,
I’ve never been able to reproduce the error on my own to get the card_nonce error. The closest thing I have been able to reproduce is that from time to time, if I’m testing the store when not initially logged in:
1 – I’ll go to the product page and add to cart. I’ll then click the floating view cart that appears. All is okay here
2 – In viewing the cart I will ‘Proceed to Checkout’ and the proper fields do show.
3 – Before editing the fields, I’ll use the ‘Returning User’ button and login to my subscriber or customer account, so no admin access on that one.
4 – The billing fields and other misc. information will autofill, which is good.
5 – When selecting the Square payment option then, no ••••• symbols appear in the placeholder. Instead, it’ll just be a solid gray line through all of the credit card information and cannot be edited. A refreshing of the page allowed me to do this, but I’m wondering if it’s a similarly caused issue as the card_nonce seems it could be that way. For one of the customer who did receive the card_nonce error, he described that he never plugged any card information in because it wouldn’t let him. Granted, he is an elderly gentleman, so who knows what other variable could have affected this.Thank you in advance for any guidance!
Awesome, thank you much!
Hi Ismael,
It turned out to be a GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting issue. Long story short, their built-in wordpress caching cannot be disabled on dynamic pages, such as WooCommerce pages. This was the root cause of why the cart showed as empty and then would show correctly after some amount of time.
So, we moved FairwaysMembership.com to Kinsta hosting and everything is working well. I did keep the theme to Enfold 4.4.1 because it was working without fail for the first time in weeks, but I don’t think it’s the theme.
Just thought I would give you the heads up in case you see anything similar from some other Enfold users.
Have a great holiday season!

December 6, 2018 at 4:57 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Empty Cart Issue After Adding Products #1041743Hi Nikko,
I actually decided to go ahead and hire a developer from Codeable. If I had to guess, it’s an issue to do with GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting. My overall understanding is that GoDaddy’s automatic cache (cannot be disabled) may cache dynamic pages.
I will reply here once I know the full extent of the issue and what solution we find for your reference.
If you have any suggestions for website hosting in North America, that would be welcome. Our main needs are stability and uptime, ability to work well with WordPress, Enfold Theme, WooCommerce, WooCommerce Square, WooCommerce PayPal Checkout, JetPack / Akismet Anti-Spam.
I also enjoy a lot of the plugins offered by WPMU Dev, although I could see where they are user friendly enough that they actually cause problems.
Anyway, thanks for the response and if you have any insights it would be much appreciated. I’ll be sure to let you know what solution(s) we find.
Hi Ismael,
It worked for a short while (about an hour), but the issue again came back. I have hired a freelance developer through Codeable to narrow down the issue. I will share information with you if you would like.
My guess is we’ll ultimately found out that it’s a problem with GoDaddy’s server configuration or caching. My only other guess would be that WooCommerce 3.5.x uses V3 for their API, so perhaps that was something not known during the development and deployment of Enfold 4.5. Although, I’ve never seen your team have that error and imagine it would have been caught rather quickly.
Today, I think we are going to clone the site onto a server the freelance developer owns and see if that replicates the problem.
If you have any insights here or if there were any aspects of today’s Enfold 4.5.1 release that you believe would fix the issue, please let me know.
