NikkoHey hanssmeijsters,
Can you try to switch to PHP version 7.3?
Best regards,
NikkoHi James,
Try adding this CSS code in Quick CSS, located in Enfold > General Styling:
#top.home #after_full_slider_1 .avia-image-container-inner .image-overlay { display: none !important; }Best regards,
NikkoMay 8, 2020 at 1:52 am in reply to: Layerslider Update Required to download Free Sliders from Kreatura Template Stor #1210863Hi CharlieTh,
Yes, it does not need the plugin to be updated to import Free ones :)
I’m glad to hear that it’s working properly now.
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Lyse,
Please try to switch the PHP version to 7.3?
Best regards,
NikkoHey bobfurgo,
That’s not possible because it’s an image (see link in private content)
You’ll need to override the image with a white one but maybe there’s a setting in the plugin you’re using that adjusts the color of the arrows.Best regards,

Can you give us a screenshot or mockup of what you want to achieve? there’s no option for that in the Theme Options but maybe we can try to give you some CSS code that should do that.

NikkoMay 8, 2020 at 1:28 am in reply to: Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme. The style sheet style.css is missing from this theme. #1210854Hi Ernest Schoenmaker,
Thanks for contacting us.
Please unzip the zip file you have downloaded from Themeforest
Open the unpacked folder produced by unzipping the file and you should find enfold.zip file
Use enfold.zip to upload in Appearance > Themes.
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi Lyse,
What PHP version are you using?
Can you try to switch the PHP version to 7.3?Best regards,
NikkoHi Andre,
By manually, I meant is What you see is what you get, if it’s not included in your Content Editor it won’t appear as well.
Unfortunately, Enfold doesn’t have Author Bio element.
Here’s a third party plugin that I found which you can try to use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/starbox/
You can just add a Code Block or Text Block and add this shortcode:
[starbox] or [starbox id=USER_ID]
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi innovacionagil,
Can you try to re-update Enfold theme?
I also could not find any js errors, and after inspecting the options, it’s not hidden but those options are totally gone.Best regards,
NikkoHi bobfurgo,
We’re glad that we could help :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi bobfurgo,
You’re welcome :)
To extend it further, please remove the right padding of the column where it is placed and that should extend it to the end.Best regards,
NikkoMay 8, 2020 at 12:38 am in reply to: Layerslider Update Required to download Free Sliders from Kreatura Template Stor #1210847Hi CharlieTh,
I apologize for not being clear, not all in Template Store is available for use on bundled version, you can all use the Free ones.
Inside the Template Store the Filter you should be able to click Free and that you can import that but the Premium ones requires a license key.
Can you give us the name of the item/slider you want to import from the Template Store? I can only download Free ones :(Best regards,
NikkoHi hmartmoor,
1. It’s more of a Woocommerce thing (Enfold utilizes Woocommerce which is standard in WP e-commerce), you should be able to find it in their documentation page or maybe ask their support as they know more about their plugin.
Also just a tip, just hover over the question mark (which is almost in all fields) and that should show the description of the field.2. I’m not really sure about this plugin, though I can find this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/webpay-woocommerce-plugin/ but it’s already not updated for 3 years, maybe it’s better to ask for woocommerce support on this issue as well.
3. Yes, you can import the demo that you’d like as your base template and modify from there, also you can save a Template and reuse it within the site.
Best regards,
NikkoMay 8, 2020 at 12:17 am in reply to: Accordion not working (Enfold Ver 4.2) Toggle remains set at "closed" #1210843Hi sproutstudio,
What version of WordPress are you using?
Please backup your site and consider updating to the latest version.
If you have already updated your site to the latest version and still has issues, please create a separate thread as we will need to ask temporary login credentials (admin privileges).
And post the details in private content. A separate thread is needed for security reasons, since private content can only be seen by both moderators and thread creator.Best regards,
NikkoHi bobfurgo,
I see, I apologize for misunderstanding, the border color is the same as the color of the font so in this case its white.
In order to specifically modify the border color in Create and Collaborate heading, edit that Special Heading, go to Advanced (tab) > Custom CSS Class put my-title (or you can name this whatever you want) and save.
Go to Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS, then add this CSS code (if you changed the name, replace my-title on this code as well):#top .my-title .special-heading-inner-border { border-color: gray !important; }Also change to color.
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoMay 8, 2020 at 12:02 am in reply to: Layerslider Update Required to download Free Sliders from Kreatura Template Stor #1210838Hi CharlieTh,
The LayerSlider plugin which shows when you install Enfold is a bundled version (not premium) and has some locked features, so you shouldn’t be able to update it.
The explanation can be found in our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/advanced-layerslider/#-how-to-update-layerslider-
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi gaveni,

NikkoMay 7, 2020 at 11:55 pm in reply to: Favicon of WordPress showing on external link to PDF files #1210834Hi JantienM,
I have checked your site using Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10 machine and the favicon seems to be correct.
I have posted screenshots in private content.Best regards,
NikkoMay 7, 2020 at 11:49 pm in reply to: How do I know which page the Enfold form was sent from? #1210833Hi abraoaddad,
Unfortunately, Enfold doesn’t have that feature as it only offers basic Contact Form.
I suggest trying to use a Contact Form plugin called Contact Form 7, they have special mail tags: https://contactform7.com/special-mail-tags/ which allows you to add in the email content where the URL where the contact form submitted is placed, also if there are multiple forms in a single page then you should be able to add some hidden values which you can also add to the email content.
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoHey bobfurgo,
Try adding this CSS code, make sure to replace REPLACE_WITH_WHITE_LOGO_LINK with the link white logo link you gave:
#top.page-id-349 .logo a { background: url(REPLACE_WITH_WHITE_LOGO_LINK) center center no-repeat; background-size: contain; } #top.page-id-349 .logo img { opacity: 0; visibility: hidden; }Best regards,
NikkoHey So Evolve,
Are you referring on this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-braintree/ ?
Also try to access your site via FTP or Cpanel and if there’s an error_log file (usually in public_html folder).
Open it and see the latest errors.
If there’s no error_log file, can you try to enable debugging: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#example-wp-config-php-for-debugging
Access your site via FTP or Cpanel and go to wp-config.php file find:define( 'WP_DEBUG', false);and replace with:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );try to trigger the error by opening your site.
And check wp-content > debug.log
That should give us information on the error.Best regards,
NikkoHi JPGlobal,
The problem is in the child theme, specifically this code, which I have already modified:
function defer_parsing_of_js ( $url ) { if ( FALSE === strpos( $url, '.js' ) ) return $url; if ( strpos( $url, 'jquery.js' ) ) return $url; return "$url' defer "; } add_filter( 'clean_url', 'defer_parsing_of_js', 11, 1 );Updated Code (this adjustment only means run this code only in the frontend of the site):
function defer_parsing_of_js ( $url ) { if( !is_admin() ) { if ( FALSE === strpos( $url, '.js' ) ) return $url; if ( strpos( $url, 'jquery.js' ) ) return $url; return "$url' defer "; } return $url; } add_filter( 'clean_url', 'defer_parsing_of_js', 11, 1 );Appearance > Customize is now working again. :)
Best regards,
NikkoHi innovacionagil,
Can you try to temporarily deactivate all plugins and switch to Enfold theme? and check if those missing settings will appear.
If it does, switch to your child theme and check, then enable the plugins one by one to know which one is causing the issue.Best regards,
NikkoHey ginnywills,
1. Go to Enfold > Main Menu > General (tab) > Menu Items for mobile set this to Activate for Ipad.
2. Go to Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS, then add this CSS code:@media only screen and (max-width:767px) { #top.home #wrap_all #full_slider_2 .avia-slideshow-button { font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.4; } }This code only affects the 2nd slider of the homepage.
Best regards,
NikkoHi samvwh,
Yes, you can’t update because Envato has already stopped using API keys and are now using tokens, so you can’t do the theme update using the normal process.
Please do the following after making a backup:- Put your site in maintenance mode (using a plugin)
- Switch to Twentytwenty or any WordPress Default Themes and Delete Enfold
- Unzip the zip file you have downloaded from Themeforest
- Open the unpacked folder produced by unzipping the file and you should find enfold.zip file
- Go to your site, and in the Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button
- Click the Upload Theme button then click Choose File and upload the enfold.zip file
- Install and Activate the theme
- Turn off maintenance mode, deactivate and uninstall the maintenance plugin
To make updates work normally again, here’s our documentation for register your theme with a personal token in Envato: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-1-closed
Best regards,
NikkoHey Joe,
Thansk for giving us admin access.
The issue was fixed by removing Flaticon in Iconfont Manager, since the zip file isn’t valid.Best regards,
Nikko -
