Hi george_valentin,
Can you try the solution I posted on this thread or Guenni007’s solution (in the same thread)? https://kriesi.at/support/topic/a-bit-urgent-enfold-theme-and-child-theme-update-not-working/#post-1254106
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi xuamox,
Create a separate page that will act as your footer then go to Enfold > Footer > Default Footer & Socket Settings set this to Select a page to display as footer and socket.
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi hylandgraphics,
What are you using to test your site speed?
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

NikkoHi RubenHD,
The link you gave shows:
502 Bad GatewayTry to go to Appearance > Theme Editor > functions.php, then add the bottom of it, add the code.
Best regards,
NikkoHi Boris,
I actually tested a shortcode inside the table and it works without breaking anything.
I think this should be the case in most shortcodes if not all.Best regards,
NikkoHi Frank,
I’m not kidding and I’ve already looked into other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge), everything looks like the screenshot I provided in private content.
The only difference I think between our machines is caching.
If that still shows on your end even if browser cache is cleared, then I would suggest disabling temporarily any types of js minification or merging either via Enfold Theme Options or plugins, since the error shown in the screenshot is multiple jquery issue.Best regards,
NikkoHi Boris,
Do the following steps:
1. Right click on the textfield, and choose Inspect
2. It should open up like this: https://imgur.com/w9Nv62v
Just find the ID, in the screenshot it’s avia_1_1Best regards,
NikkoHi rolanddon,
The latest version is 4.7.6.4 and yes the envato token is necessary in order to update it (this is required by envato/themeforest).
As for the theme update, it shouldn’t be complicated once you have registered the theme, it should just be one click.
However, if you have recently updated from 4.4 and below then the reason for the inconvenience is the changes in envato/themeforest which has transitioned from using of API key to tokens which our theme would also have to adapt.
As for the issue, we requested admin access via the plugin mentioned, so we can investigate the cause of the issue and try to fix. The link you gave won’t give us access, we are expecting a link that looks like one in private content, please check.Best regards,
NikkoHi Borissimo,
It only works if those are intended to be just text but if its shortcode then you should use [instagram-feed]
Best regards,
NikkoHi shedoesitcoaching,
Can you try to clear the browser cache?
Also, can you give us the URL of the image you want to use as the logo?
You can post it in private contentBest regards,
NikkoHi Borissimo,
Then you’ll have to use id instead of label.
You can get them from inspecting the element via web inspector.Best regards,
NikkoHi Frank,
I have tried to refresh the page 10 times and before I would see the issue 4-6 times out of 10, but now the issue isn’t showing even once.
Best regards,

We’re glad that we could help :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Karlijn,
Can you try to update to the latest version of Enfold?
Make sure to have a backup first before updating, also flush out the cache if you have any caching plugins.Best regards,
NikkoHi mcbaile,
We’re glad to hear that :)
Just post here if you need further assistance that’s related to the topic.Best regards,
NikkoHi Eefke,
Thanks for giving us admin access, I could see js errors in the web console that’s why it’s not working.
The issue is caused by WordPress 5.5 which has removed jQuery migrate which is used by Enfold 4.7.6.1 and below.
To temporarily fix this, I have installed and activated this plugin: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper
This issue is addressed in the latest version of Enfold (if you plan to update now then make a backup first), once updated you can safely remove the plugin.Best regards,
NikkoOctober 26, 2020 at 4:43 pm in reply to: How do I remove all the padding from a color section? #1255766Hey xuamox,
If you are using the default settings, then please add this CSS code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):
#top .avia-section-default { min-height: 0; } #top .avia-section-default .content { padding: 0; }Best regards,
NikkoOctober 26, 2020 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Columns set to display individually displaying side by side on mobile #1255764Hey devmeydes,
I tried to login with the credentials you gave however it doesn’t work, please check.
The error from the console points to bootstrap.min.css, however, I’m not sure if that’s in a child theme (if you have one) or in one of the plugins.
Please try to temporarily disable all the plugins and check if it fixes the issue, if yes, then enable them one by one to know which one is causing it.Best regards,
NikkoHey lsrmedia,
1. Yes, that is correct, only the parent theme is affected and no changes are done on the child theme.
2. Yes, it remains intact since it is stored in the database.
3. Yes, it remains as is since it is also stored in the database.
We always recommend having a backup first before updating, though the chances of success is high but sometimes unexpected things happen.Best regards,

Can you give us the login link as well?
Before that, please try to change the password in the database via PHPMyAdmin: https://wpcrux.com/blog/change-wordpress-password-phpmyadmin/

NikkoOctober 26, 2020 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Firewall is telling me its a suspicious infected file #1255755Hi Psycomatis,
I tried to look for that code, however, I could not find it in the theme files.
Can you tell us which file does contain that code?Best regards,
NikkoHey Ale,
I tried to check on the link you gave, however it returns:

NikkoHi Karlijn,
Can you let us know what version of WordPress you’re using? as well as the PHP version?
If your site’s PHP version is 7.2, please update it to 7.3.Best regards,
NikkoHi Ruggiero,
The lost Theme Options menu is caused by WordPress 5.5 which has removed jQuery migrate which is used by Enfold 4.7.6.1 and below.
To temporarily fix this, you can install and activate this plugin: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper
This issue is addressed in the latest version of Enfold (if you plan to update now then make a backup first), once updated you can safely remove the plugin unless it’s other plugins also use jQuery Migrate file.

NikkoHi mcbaile,
Yes, that’s most likely the issue.
Try switching the settings, for example turning off of minification or merging of either css and js, and check, some settings maybe causing the issue.Best regards,
