NikkoHi Erwin,
Can you try adding this code in your child theme’s functions.php:
function move_newsbox_heading(){ ?> <script> (function() { var newslink = document.querySelectorAll('.news-link'); newslink.forEach(function(el) { var heading = el.querySelector('.news-headline'); el.insertBefore(heading, el.childNodes[0]); }); })(); </script> <?php } add_action('wp_footer', 'move_newsbox_heading');Hope it helps.
Best regards,
NikkoHi Bernd,
Can you give us a link to the page mentioned?
Also, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoHi Alex,
Can you try adding this CSS code in Quick CSS:
#top .mytoggle .av_toggle_section .avia_iconbox_title { font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; }Best regards,
NikkoHi merrywatson,
WPML is a third party plugin and not part of Enfold but our theme supports it (some integrations), I apologize for not being clear.
You can think of it similar to Woocommerce where it is a separate plugin (different author) but once you install and activate that plugin certain features in Enfold are unlocked (like additional elements).
And yes, WPML is a paid plugin.Best regards,

NikkoHi AFEC,
Thanks for providing the link.
This code is specific only to the page provided, please add this in Quick CSS:#top.page-id-8381 #wrap_all .main_color h1.av-rotator-container-inner { color: white !important; }Best regards,
NikkoHi Dirk,
Can you try to disable Javascript file merging and compression in Enfold > Performance? and see if it helps.
Best regards,
NikkoHi wancora,
It’s not possible with the usual method.
The only workaround I could think (only possible if the Color Section is on top) is to use the ava_before_content_templatebuilder_page hook to insert a Color Section, then add conditions for it to show or not. Using a child theme is recommended for this tweak.Best regards,
NikkoMay 12, 2021 at 4:24 am in reply to: Will a new license upgrade Enfold Child v. 4.2.6 to current version? #1299786Hi KathrynHunt,
Thanks for giving us a link to your site.
Using a new license would be enough, however, API keys are not used anymore to update instead tokens are used.
Please do the following steps in order to update your site to the latest version:Make a backup:
– Site Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-wordpress-site/
– Theme Settings Backup: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/backup-theme-settings/Update Enfold Theme
Option 1: Use Envato Market to update your site
– link: https://envato.com/market-plugin/
If you don’t have a personal token yet, please generate one and make sure it has sufficient permissions, you can check our documentation to know the required permissions: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-tokenOption 2: Update manually
1. Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme, right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.Register the theme by following the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Once this is done, the next time you update, you’ll only need to go to Enfold > Theme Updates and click on the Update button.Best regards,
NikkoHi JeSchami,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
The reason why it’s not working on your site is that PHP ZipArchive Extension is not enabled.
You can verify it in LayerSlider WP > Options > System Status (or go to the link in private content)
You can check this article on how to enable it: https://bobcares.com/blog/enable-php-zip-extension-cpanel/
Or you can request assistance from your hosting provider.Best regards,
NikkoHi Scott,
We are happy to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,

Thanks for contacting us!
Will a new license update v. 4.2.6 to v. 4.8.2? Yes, it should allow update to the latest version.
We can check on it however, I would suggest that you register first on our forum: https://kriesi.at/support/register/
Once you have done that, you can create a new thread in https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-topic-0
Then in private content, post the credentials so we can inspect your site and try to fix it.Best regards,

NikkoHi digital1440,
What version of Enfold are you using?
This issue is already fixed in the latest version of Enfold.
If you can’t access via wp-admin, then please update your site via cPanel or FTP.
Hope it helps.Best regards,
NikkoHi phausner,
I see I didn’t notice you were not the thread creator, only moderators and the thread creator can view private content.
Can you create a separate thread? and continue the discussion there.
Also, please try to set any Restrictions to none in your API key? and see if it helps (if it works then try to put other restriction options).Best regards,
NikkoHi Isabel,

NikkoHi nfgraphicdesign,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
This is now fixed.
I have replaced this PHP code:function avf_alb_supported_post_types_mod( array $supported_post_types ) { $supported_post_types[] = array('art-fairs' , 'mirus-exhibitions'); return $supported_post_types; } add_filter('avf_alb_supported_post_types', 'avf_alb_supported_post_types_mod', 10, 1); /* Add Avia-Editor to Archive */ function avf_metabox_layout_post_types_mod( array $supported_post_types ) { $supported_post_types[] = array('art-fairs' , 'mirus-exhibitions'); return $supported_post_types; } add_filter('avf_metabox_layout_post_types', 'avf_metabox_layout_post_types_mod', 10, 1);with:
function avf_alb_supported_post_types_mod( array $supported_post_types ) { $supported_post_types[] = 'art-fairs'; $supported_post_types[] = 'mirus-exhibitions'; return $supported_post_types; } add_filter('avf_alb_supported_post_types', 'avf_alb_supported_post_types_mod', 10, 1); /* Add Avia-Editor to Archive */ function avf_metabox_layout_post_types_mod( array $supported_post_types ) { $supported_post_types[] = 'art-fairs'; $supported_post_types[] = 'mirus-exhibitions'; return $supported_post_types; } add_filter('avf_metabox_layout_post_types', 'avf_metabox_layout_post_types_mod', 10, 1);Best regards,

We’re glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi Tim,
To be honest, I’m also surprised with this issue, since the cached version is when you’re logged (usually it’s the other way around).
Since you’re still working on it you can have two windows for Chrome, one is logged in and the other should use incognito mode, so you don’t have to login and logout, you just need to switch windows (alt + tab).
As for the issue, can you try to switch to the default theme then switch back to the Enfold theme (I had a case before where that fixes the caching issue, I hope it works on your site).Best regards,
NikkoMay 11, 2021 at 9:21 am in reply to: I can't edit content in elements (text block, tabs, etc) #1299604Hi Joan,
Can I reinstall something (woocommerce plugin, enfold theme, etc) without losing the work?
Yes.Also, thanks for the specific instructions as well as the text block content.
The content seems to be mixed with shortcode and text inside the Text Block which is not ideal.
Also when switching from Default Editor and Advanced Layout Builder (or vice versa) both are adding shortcodes or tags to it which breaks it.
I pasted the code you gave and followed the instructions you gave but the issue did not appear in the backend, although in the frontend some of the shortcodes are shown and not rendered.
I also tried the “11111111111111”, “222222222222222222”, “test” and the issue does not appear as well.
Can you try to turn on the debug mode: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Once it happens again, please give us the link to it and we’ll try to inspect further.Best regards,
NikkoHi senfdazu,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have inspected the backend and it seems CSS, JS files including media files like images are prevented from being loaded (it shows 403 Forbidden Error which is a permission or security issue).
Can you try to check if you have .htaccess files that denies access? or maybe some server settings that might cause this issue.Best regards,
NikkoHi SolingLover,
I see, if you don’t have a child theme, then you can place the code below this code in functions.php:
if(isset($avia_config['use_child_theme_functions_only'])) return;For further information please check: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Also with the code you posted, you’ll only need to remove this code (which is produced by Gutenberg):
<!– wp:shortcode –>and:
<!– /wp:shortcode –>Best regards,
Nikko -
